An American is hoping to have a conversation with Danish girlfriend’s father this summer in danish!!

An American is going to Denmark this summer in hopes of having a conversation in Danish with his girlfriend’s father. Her father is not that comfortable speaking English so this American has been diligently learning or at least trying to learn how to speak Danish. If it is a conversation it will most likely not be a very intellectual one.

Danish girlfriend needs to start speaking Danish with you and no English! That should make you learn Danish quick! :D

@@_-martin-_ I realize I now need to be more immersed in it so I start parsing out the meaning of danish sentences so I start to think in danish thank you

@@sambyrod8179 Shure thinking in Danish will be good when I'm abroad, then after a few days among people who can only communicate with me in English, I start to think in English, if I'm in Germany it's the same, I am thinking in german language
