And then there’s Suegra’s like mine where we go every single time to her house, and this year we decided all the holidays we will spend it at home. I’m 7 months pregnant, I have two kids, I have my home, and we chose to stay home and enjoy dinner with our kids and she got upset started saying well tell my son to not forget about me. Like mam we do everything with you guys, my side of the family I can’t deal because every time I go there’s certain individuals I can’t stand so I rather not even be apart of it ever. But thank god my parents decided to come over last night we had a thanksgiving dinner with them. I cooked and they enjoyed it. It’s better like that. And then my mil was upset because we decided not go. Well now I know to never go over again. Simple.

I am thankful for my family. For their health, the roof on our heads, for the food in our table and for just being able to spend and enjoy our time together. Even though my husband just lost his job a few days before thanksgiving. I am still thankful for the blessings God has provided and I know he will help my husband get another job soon. Yes Blanca it’s sooo true! I get bashed all the time because of how much my mom helps and supports me 😅 but no one sees how much she loves to do it and how great ful I am for it! I feel so beyond happy and blessed that this is my life! 🙏🏽❤️

I was just talking to my husband how inspiring you guys are for being able to hire your mom as your nanny. Not only do you have the best person to watch your kid but you’re also able to provide your mom with an income for something she would be doing regardless if she was getting paid or not. That’s one thing that’s nice about being white and my man being hispanic that his family celebrates christmas eve to midnight and then the next day we go to my side. Once we have space we would love to have them together but everything will come! ALSO, I am soo thankful for my baby boy and the rest of my family 🤍 A future topic I would like to hear about is maybe about supporting your sister when you have your own family.

Im thankful to God for giving me another chance at loving life again. at one point I was in a really bad place where I hated to wake up all I wanted was for it to be night again to sleep. We usually switch off years. This year was my year, which means we will be in Houston. Usually David’s parents go to Mexico for the holidays, since we will be in Houston this year, my mother in law decided to stay in town so we can all be together. Thanksgiving is shared we split mornings/mid day with my side and dinner at his family’s.

I am so thankful to my parents for being here with me. Especially my dad. He got injured the beginning of January of this. Year he got burn n he had to get skin graft surgery. It was a long road, but he made through it and I’m thankful for my mom she help it and I’m thankful for my brother’s n sister helping too. It was a struggle, but we did it. I thank God he was here with us. Also, I’m so, so thankful that God gives me another day to be here with my whole family. I can’t ask for nothing else. I'm so blessed 🥲

We always go with my parents for a little bit and then my suegros after but it gets crazy with the kids so I hosted Thanksgiving at my house last year and this year and invited everyone and no one came . My mom always has excuses that they’re old she’s in her early 50s smh but yea it can get stressful 😅
My mom and suegra say the same thing that they’re “Old” or that they don’t want to cook cause they don’t have to no more🤦🏻♀️ parents are stressful

Sometimes no matter what you do, they won’t like the stroller. It has nothing to do with getting them use to it. My son went through a lot of ups and downs with the stroller. They key is to never give up and continue to try to use it. Even if we didn’t use it for months, we would try again and again. He is now 3 and we use it when we go out. It got easier when he turned 2.5
Long Car rides got easier this year when he turned 3.
We usually host either xmass or thanksgiving. So if we host one than one is here at my home and the other at my brothers house. It’s always been like that. And sometimes new year we go to my husband’s side of the family. My husband’s parents live in Mexico
