I would love to take a test ride/drive in what will be the finished product. No need to try something that will not be available. Example A) A test drive with hub motors will not be anything like a drive with inboard motor(s).

Personally, I don't want to drive an Aptera until I'm able to take delivery. My purchase is already assured, there is no need for me to take up space.
No problem I understand it , however I would love to drive it to become familiar with its operation and handling , but that’s just me . 😎

Whatever the advances in battery tech, the Aptera has the biggest range, compared with all other ev’s with similar batteries.
Imo that car missed the target.
Make a 1-2 person car that can comute for crazy cheap (sub 20k). I'd take 150miles and 7-10sec 0-60 with no performance package and no bells no whistles to get myself back and forth to job. No camera no self driving.
Maybe a future base model

@@freepower1082 from what I heard they’re trying to get a motor in the back wheel. Could not announce it yet until it’s final.

@@freepower1082 I heard from a reliable source that I can’t quote that Aptera has the desire and is trying to make all wheel drive, but they can’t say anything until it’s finalized.

Old news
While Aptera will disrupt some of the industry, the biggest disruptor will be Chinese EVs. If you watch Fully Charged, you can see the Chinese have been building excellent EVs for quite some time. Even Toyota has been sitting on their hands and banking on ICE and Hybrids.
Aptera better start delivering before the cheap knockoffs come out. The cheap knockoffs will put Aptera out of business.
I keep hearing about how cheap Chinese EVs will dominate the US market, but so far...
