    The think about coloring the shoulder buttons is in alot fo SNES games Nintendo ported, alot of those games just didn't use the shoulder so they moved the funcitons of X and Y to L and R so in that way coloring the shoulders could be a suddle nod to this fact.

  • @LRM12o8
    @LRM12o8 Před 4 lety +4

    Cool case, but they made one big oversight:
    stamping the "A" and "B" letters into the buttons is redundant and makes it look stupid because they're already printed right on the shell beneath were the buttons got. To make it even worse, the stamped letters are straight, while the printed letters are at an angle, which makes the buttons seem as if they were crooked.
    they should have left those two buttons blank like on the og SNES controller!

    Well, the grays ain't exactly wrong when you consider that right there on the inside, it says "Super Famicom", and *NOT* "Super Nintendo Entertainment System"; the UK units were basically the Japanese shell molds (console & cartridge) in the fugly US colors. Japan had different, warmer shades of gray in addition to the cool rainbow buttons, while everywhere else had the muted colder shades of gray with the two-tone purple buttons.
    (In the US, we got stuck with the brick lookin' crap instead of the original molds because some dimwit at or working with Nintendo of America thought it looked better and "less like a toy" - check out Lady Decade's video about why the US Snes "is so ugly"; apparently, they'd got rid of him by the time the Super Famicom Junior got adapted as the second model Snes, since the console shell was largely the same mold everywhere this time...)
