THANK YOU!!! People dont seem to understand the difference between a reminamgined version of a song vs a stripped down cover of a song. THEYRE NOT THE SAME!! What Ronnie does is 1 of a kind!!
Also the lyrics are describing how withdrawing from heroin felt, the first part is the denial "I dont need it", the second are the symptoms and "rehab" that's why that addict introduction, the third is acceptance/relapse, the end is shame, but also pride for actually being clean.
Just a note, Ronnie doesn't throw copyright strikes out on his music, he's a-ok with reactors!

To me what makes a great artist is someone who understands music, the culture in that time, how to bring in something new and catchy or meaningful with the knowledge of music... It's a whole damn formula and Ronnie has got it! Him and Saraya are so awesome and down to Earth people! To me being a great artist is being able to connect with people on a personal level and Ronnie and Saraya does this! I think this is why Page is such a beloved wrestler too! She connects with the people! Check them both out on Twitch as they both have channels and they are both so fun to watch!

Original song is the circus clown. All the pain, sadness, anger, self-loathing and despair as your life and those around you falls to ruin with no seeming escape, but hidden behind a painted on smile and funny antics. The revamped gives the honest emotion with no hiding it and why for me it's far, far better than the original. It's a dark subject and written I believe when he was in maximum security prison. It's why I think most people feel it in that fry screamed climax that tends to leave me and others speechless for a few seconds.

So I know a lot of people think that Ronnie composed the music to this song and to the “Drug in me is you reimagined”. The composer is actually a guy named Sean Rooney. He deserves ALL the credit for composing these two masterpieces!!! However, Ronnie DID kill it on the vocals and theatrics!
