You just need to provide the documents they ask. And just wait for couple weeks it will be verified and in case is there any problem in verification they will ask you for the details they need. If it’s taking too much time , you can contact them through support number.

It depends on the kind of Support role you apply. There are different Support pillars like - Dev , Admin , CPQ , Marketing etc.
Only in Dev a bit of coding will be required.
