The Rebel Alliance has destroyed the Death Star, defeated Darth Vader and the Emperor, and driven the remnants of the old Imperial Starfleet to a distant corner of the galaxy.
Princess Leia and Han Solo are married and expecting Jedi twins. And Luke Skywalker has become the first in a long-awaited line of Jedi Knights.
But thousands of light-years away, the last of the Emperor's warlords has taken command of the shattered Imperial fleet, readied it for war, and pointed it at the fragile heart of the New Republic....

Awesome! This man's work is the beginning of the end for Disney. The end of their entire Sequel Trilogy. Of the fans reclaiming the franchise and bringing the real Post-Endor Timeline to the screen. Keep up the good work!

as far as my personal head cannon goes, This series is the true sequel trilogy.
While I think the Thrawn trilogy is the superior trilogy, I think people are discounting the material that are great or good in the Disney canon (Rebels, Rogue One, Mandalorian, Bad Batch, Book of Boba Fett, Tales of the Jedi, Ahsoka). What Disney should have done is reimagine the Expanded Universe to include the new characters they've created to have characters like Ahsoka appear in a Heir of the Empire film that keeps the formula of the book, but change it a little.

EPIC! I've read the book countless times, and yet I feel really excited for seeing these chapters. About all that's 'wrong' is that Leia's sabre is blue rather than green, and that is hardly worth mentioning. You have the Noghri looking like the terrifying death commandoes we were told of in the the books, not the cheap rip off for Gollum we were force fed by disney

I think I like the idea of a few chapters released at the same time. Instead of 1 chapter at a time. Or maybe a few chapters are completed and are released on a weekly basis.

Timothy Zahn would be delighted to witness his novel come of to life from the first creator Darth Angelus. Hope this would be step by step process towards Disney/filoni recognition from Darth Angelus talented motion works and hoping in the future he gets a deal to work with Disney .
I’ve been following this wonderful adaptation for a while now, and I must say, it looks incredible! Wonderful progress, it looks even better than the first part. Looking forward to the conclusion of this project.

I’ve absolutely given up on Disney. I gave up on them after giving Mandi a chance, but then when his show went to Rat Turd City, I just quit. DarthAngelus, you are our only hope. I’ve been awaiting this second half of the film with bated breath. I read Zain’s trilogy when it first emerged. I was probably 10 or 11 years old, and already a tremendous Star Wars fan. Grand Admiral Thrawn was the coolest character in Star Wars history, I thought. Being a young intellectual with power fantasies, I was utterly enamoured with him. I adopted his speech and facial mannerisms , all throughout junior high. Curiously enough, it actually helped cultivate an air of mystique about me, so when I later became a kind of psychedelic guru in high school, I had an air of secret knowledge and hidden power that I wrapped about me like a cloak. After taking huge amounts of LSD, I learned that doing so makes one arable of reading microexpressions in people’s facial and body motion of which they are wholly unaware, which a keen and clever person with a gift for language can easily use to give the appearance of being telepathic. Nothing major, of course, but enough little things that when taken together, it creates the VERY uncanny appearance of being able to read the thoughts of others.

Ultimately, Timothy Zahn was about a 40% contributor to my considerable success with women from yer 10 onward. My point is, I’m most impressed with this rendition of the story as your Thrawn and your Pellaeon are almost precisely as I envisioned them…and, more importantly, as I heard their voices in my head, reading along as that 10/11-yr. old lad 30 years ago. It’s strangely satisfying to see it play out-much as I’d imagined-on a medium outside the cinema on the backs of my eyelids.
Cheers to you @DarthAngelus; thank you for your hard work, long hours of dedication…and for reading closely and making your characters as faithful to the book as you have, to the point that our visions actually sync up. I’m well eager to see the finalé.
