Wilhelm, Simon and Felice are all 16, Sara is 17, August is 18. Age of consent in Sweden is 15, August didn't have their consent to film them though so yes, he's an adult filming minors without their consent, it's illegal in Sweden. And one of them is his cousin.
Also, it doesn't matter if they're over the age of consent - they can have sex, but videos of people under 18 are still child pornography. Or, that's how it works in the UK, anyway.
Fun fact: the actor who plays Wilhelm was an actual teenager during the filming of Season 1 (17) and Season 2 (19). He graduated from highschool in June 2022, so he was a highschool student himself during the filming of Season 1 and 2.

I loved it, I binged watched it in one sitting. Great storyline that wasn't too slow, but not too fast either. I really loved the chemistry between the two main characters. I would have wanted a little more character development for the side characters, but other than that it was a heartfelt and genuine story that is definitely worth a watch.
Since you've been asking where the adults are: August, Vincent and Nils are all 18/19 years old and considered full adults so they are not considered to need supervision and can supervise the first years. They are in their last school year and should be graduating in S3. (Wille, Simon, Felice, Stella, Fredrika, Madison, Henry, Walter and Alexander are all first years and 16. Sara has to repeat a year because she was bullied at her old school and couldn't keep up her studies, so she's 17 but in the same class as the 16 year olds) Erik was 20, so August, Vincent and Nils were first years when he was in his final year, that's why he was in the rowing team with them and in the secret society with August.
Actually wrong: Erik was just one year older than August. The reason we know is because of the insignia on his military uniform showing he was in his first year there - someone on tumblr wrote a post with picture references.
In Sweden, most royalties went to the same private school. If I remember correctly, Hillerska is somewhat based on the real one. It's common knowledge that the princes and princesses goes to that school.
A really nice job. I'm delighted you managed to hit so many points of the story in such a short time. Although I am sad that you cut the first breaking-of-the-fourth-wall. It's an iconic part of this series. Enjoy season 2. But to quote Stanley Tucci in The Devil Wears Prada, "Gird your loins!"

And our real life crown princess married an ordinary guy, his parents are like a teacher and a social worker. They met at the gym when he was her personal trainer. It took a couple of years before the King said ok to them being a couple openly.
The first season of this show broke me in a way that nothing i have ever seen did. Seeing you watch this made me go back to the day I watched this for the first time 2 years ago and remember exactly what made me fall in love with this tragic love story so much. Your reactions are very similar to mine and i like how you mentioned Tis' the damn season being their song, i 100% agree.

They just let Edvin improvise for a while and filmed him and then cut the best stuff together. The line "All people are fake, they are made out of metal, but I like you and that's not fake" was also improvised by Edvin. (Edvin was 17 during the filming of Season 1)
For your knowledge: the royal family has pretty much zero inpact on politics (they dont rule lol) but they recive a shitton of money, very similar to the british royal family

Let me start by saying this is almost an hour video, but I watched it as it was nothing. You edited it amazing! I could write a whole analysis on this show, it's so so good😭 The pain for waiting for s2 was awful, you're so lucky to have it right away. Now we're waiting for s3 and if you don't know, yes there's s3. It's the last season and I'm so happy that "my" little swedish show made it so far. Haven't seen such a good teen series in years. Europeans knows what they're doing. Still can't believe it's a teen show, it's too good to be. Not to be dramatic, but they're soulmates😂 There's something different with these two as a couple in comparison to others teen dramas and it's that they're not toxic to each other, they communicate and the problems didn't came from their relationship. It's the position of Wilhelm that's the problem. It's an example of a healthy relationship. You can't help, but rooting for them as you watch their path and what they have is pure love. Also a fun fact: Wilhelm's love language is psychological touch and his whole life he couldn't express it, because of who he is. That's why he always craved it. The scene when he asked Simon to hold him, always gets me. To have one form of expressing love and that to be taken away from you is just... Also I don't think any of his family show physical touch in a form of love sooo he's all alone again. Anyway, waiting for your reaction to s2❤
