Of this total, the export was 5.74 trillion yuan, up by 4.9%; Imports reached 4.43 trillion yuan, an increase of 5%.

FTAs are not always beneficial, don't sign deals in haste.

There are clauses in FTAs that allow to make amends if needed. We are in a hurry we don't have much time, the demography will age soon and will become a burden instead of an asset.
We are trying to renegotiate for S Korea & Japan trade deals for half a decade, those nations keep delaying this. So yes, don't do anything in haste.
