If you like the clips where I collect stuff from the forest you'll sure like my second channel "Age of the North":

So glad to see you put out a new video! Would you consider making some epic terrain for Warhammer 40K in the future?
Just when I think "where is Bard's Craft?" you show up. Thanks! Don't go away.
@StarkBytes Still there in memory though
the orange chunks of failed lava looked a bit like honey. maybe you can use them for a hive of giant bees or something
I also thought about that. being a beekeeper, I use plastic sheets in the frames. they are textured in honeycomb. you can paint it and cut it out to make the interior wall of a beehive of giant insects or aliens. they are just not very deep
Pro tip for making believable lava flows: use a torch to melt a path in the foam itself. You don't want to melt it ALL the way through, just enough to form the channel. Then add rocks and/or bark for stone way and paint
This! Also, when painting lava you want the base layer to be yellow, then when that's 90% dry you want to hit about 70% of it with orange. Again, wait until it's 90% dry before hitting about 1/4 of it with red. Dry brush the ground where the lava touches with red for a glowing effect. No idea how to do the resin bit though.
Also, when painting hot coals, you want to use white primer and base red, then when dry hit it with a light dry brush of dark grey over the whole piece followed immediately by a heavy dry brush of black over all of the piece (the dark grey was just to give it a faux zenithal - it won't make MUCH of a difference but the difference is there). The end result should come out looking like hot coals (the bright parts are at the bottom and the cooler (black) parts at the top).
Really cool, your use of commonly found items in nature really brings a cohesive look to all your builds. Keep up the great work!
it's amazing that with all that fire and lava the bark doesn't burn away ;)
This looks amazing! Would love to see you do a Feywild-inspired diorama at some point!
The most epic part was when you were pulling coals out of the oven. Great build in general though!
Looks amazing, loving the variation in environments.
The sounds of line bark being cut with your knife is always satisfying.
Another satisfying episode.
Your video of the fire elemental was a great model of lava, that would've been perfect for the river in this model also
This terrain looks so cool - big like to you. Right now I am only sculpting my own miniatures, but now I want to make my own terrain too.
Before painting, it looks kind of like the surface of Mars
Very great work and a nice idea to make a wepons from fire crystals!
Epic build! Looks great!!!
For a translucent could colour I would recommend Inks, not a lot just enough to tint the resin
Glad to see another of your videos!
Im very happy you are getting commissions! Thats great.
looks beautiful
Ficou fantástico! Agora me deu muita vontade de ver os planos da Água, do Ar, da Terra e quem sabe de Luz e Sombras. Com certeza vou compartilhar.
Lava usually bubbles up due to heat. You could blow bubbles with a straw to make that effect.
Damn this is cool - My party is traversing hell at the moment and something like this could make a cool random encounter. Keep up the 'lit' work... hehe, see what I did there
I am working on my second piece of terrain! Learned a lot from watching your videos, thank you for the inspiration 👍
Nice work, as always:)
Lukas I really enjoy your Age of the North videos. Will you ever do crafting videos again?
*cutting noise intensifies*
Hope you're doing well in the pandemic! Love the videos!
I liked your knife, with dedications to other artists, correct me if I'm wrong.
I love the use of the charcoal, this is an awesome project!
Fine work, man. I need to do some more terrain vids myself
Looking forward t the next one, dude
That looks truly unique! Great job!
This makes me think of the Scions of Flame from Warcry. You mentioned Frostgrave before, but have you ever considered trying Warcry? Its a super simple and very fun skirmish game, that you might enjoy. My friends and I don't play much else these days it's so good.
Nicely done, as always.
Brilliant. I do love your builds. X
Id love to see a naturalistic terrain with minimal painting, highlights and accents allowed. Just to see what you can do with what you have around you.
Wow, this is one of your best builds! It doesn’t look like lava, though - more like a toxic sludge. But it is awesome!
Looks like strange pasta-sauce 👍👍
@@BardsCraft It’s not what you aimed for, but I like it. 👍👍👍
Really great bro, loved the custom weapons from the resin also.
Really cool
Great video. I don’t know why but I love your content. Keep it coming man!
Looks pretty good man, good job
Nice one
That hardened resin looks like amber, you could definitely do something cool with that!
I'm curious if you've had any issues with the charcoal wandering off onto minis during play? It looks great but I'm wary of people's minis starting to look like your hands while applying it, haha.
Yeah it does look like amber. Would look cool if it was carved into a crystal, hallowed out, and had an ultra-bright LED glowing inside of it.

muy bueno
i love your videos!!!!
very epic
Wooooooo
Eventually the old box of oats saved the day :D
Woof woof, I mean bark on 👍🏻
Looks cool but did you seal that charcoal dust? Otherwise this would be messy as hell to touch.
What do you do with your terrain when you finish them
And Lucas, could you please give an advice, where can i buy cheap minis for game? I try to find a mini statue of mage but dont found something normal.
I made the dagger or burned pizza and throwing star of third degree burns
PLS REPLY.i watch your vids 3 times
here is your reply as reguested
Hi
these tiny figures looks good but seems a bit expensive in compared to the market, It can be good for 1 or 2 specific figures but i don't think it's good to buy all figures from them
Yeah way to expensive, also that resin they use is 💩
Bark Craft ;d
Funny how that is $50 worth of tree bark if you have to buy it but something you rake up and throw away if you live by it. . .
Immediate click
Dude you need to invest in a mask when working with Resins. Last thing you need is lung problems in the middle of a global pandemic.
круто! Очень нравится то что ты делаеш!
