You can't control your thoughts or your emotions. You aren't able to deny or allow which thoughts do you like more to happen or which not. In spite, you can observe them, identify or not with them, and let them disturb you or not
@@danielfeygin1216 I kind of agree with you and I kind of don’t. For example, when I was young I used to think bad things and I noticed my thoughts were always negative so I had to learn how to control this because it would give me panic attacks. I would literally tell myself to shut up and force myself to think positive things and name 5 beautiful things around me. I went from thinking negatively 70% of the time to now about 2%. Neuroplasticity is real and amazing. You can literally train your brain to think and believe certain things. You can also control your emotions the same way
@@TheVillageFairy I see where u coming from but from my experience every time I tried controlling myself and forcing myself to be positive i felt so much friction and it always ended up terribly so I agree w the person saying to simply observe and accept and disidentify bc when u reject certain thoughts and emotions and accept others you’re essentially living in a discriminate state setting up a world of duality. Anyways love to you my friend ❤️

It is the simplest but the most impactful narration on how to move towards spirituality- At least have physiological and psychological cleanliness. Remove the Filth within the Self is the directive to be remembered. To kickoff, Satsang with Truth is "the way ahead". Thanks again, Sadguru.
