And THIS is what sets Nightwish apart from everyone else. This brilliant mind of Tuomas and how he is able to set the products of that mind to a musical score.
I love that Nightwish are exploring topics like this, there's so much music that use the same tired themes and trends. When something blows up you get countless other bands starting to do the same thing that's like fast food music, it doesn't really 'nourish' me anymore. It's such a breath of fresh air to see something so different and it's told in a way that makes me ponder things beyond the songs. This is what i've been waiting to hear again. Thanks Nightwish for never following, and always putting the music first.

I’m not a very religious person, but certain patterns of melody and harmony make me feel that I’ve just experienced a glimpse of divinity. Nightwish has brought so much beauty into my life! ❤
I'm not either, but the amount of love that goes into their music is something that helps keep my belief in God. I respect evolution and quite like Mr Dawkins because a lot of work went into that, too, and you don't generally put lots of work into something you don't like unless it's out of necessity but there's something special when someone comes up with great music or art. I don't know if it's because of a greater love for it, or what, but I think God probably knew the world needed Nightwish.

Just kuuntelin uusinta kappaletta lauantaina kotimatkalla, kello huiteli puoltayötä ja koska asutaan reilusti napapiirin pohjoispuolella, niin aurinko helotti pilvettömältä taivaalta.
Piti oikein pysähtyä, sammuttaa auto ja kuunnella ympäröivää luontoa. Samalla pohtien juuri kuulemani taideteosta ja että miten voikin tehdä lähtemättömän vaikutuksen sellainen asia jonka jo tiedän, kun se asia on puettu tällaiseen muotoon.
Ja se musiikki oli kuin osa sitä karun kaunista Ylä-Lapin luontoa, mitä saan onnekseni tarkkailla joka päivä.

Nightwish is a jewel in the evolution of music. Breathtaking beauty hits my ears and my soul.
It's so nice to hear Tuomas speak Finnish. As a person who learns this language, I find it very useful and pleasant. ❤
I am not learning Finnish, but it's still nice to hear him speak in his native language (glad there are subtitles though!).
I found Nightwish by music reactions starting in 2019 (CZcams). Inspiration is born from Tuomas because he understands there is a universal 'reason & rhyme' that binds all things. His is the heart of a true poet, and he's tapped into this unseen but felt force. Those that have come to know Nightwish, understand this concept at a deeper level.
Such a beautiful mind that is Tuomas Holopainen. Thank you for creating our beloved Nightwish and for sharing your music and your soul with us.

To name some of the songs that always make me cry: The intro of "The Greates Show on Earth" when Troy plays his pipes, "Moors" and "Ad Astra" from "All the Works of Nature Which Adorn the World". Also, "Beauty of the Beast" or Floor's finale in "Shoemaker". And to not only name Nightwish songs, I also get this feeling when I listen to the score of Gladiator, "Honor Him" and "Now we are Free" and other film scores, or epic songs by Two Steps From Hell.
Some days ago, I visited the Natural History Museum in London again. While I was walking through the museum, I listened to the two latest Nightwish albums. I am always overwhelmed by a feeling of awe listening to the songs that are inspired by nature, evolution, and scientists while walking through my favourite museum, also called the "Cathedral of Nature" 💚 Thank you Nightwish for this experience!

I have been digging into ancient history of this planet for the last decade and discovered many things that shocked me to my core! Not surprised that Tuomas has also embraced that in his music. If that is his life’s mission then I think he is doing a fantastic job.
Nightwish and the beautiful mind of Tuomas Holopainen makes music that just lifts your soul right out of your body. How can we accept any less than that?

It's so magical that all of us here share certain receptors in our brain, heart and soul that receive so many different and unique emotions listening to these masterpieces. They make me cry, they give me goosebumps everytime I hear them. I once read from a music teacher that he teaches about Tuomas as one of the greatest composers to the kids in school. Tuomas writes music for the past, present and future. But WE are the lucky ones who can enjoy this music live. Thank you for existing Nightwish, we are truly HONORED to be you fans 💜

Tuomas, for you it's Hans Zimmer, for me it's you with "Ad Astra". There's so many songs of yours that I love but it's that one that makes me cry every time. It's not about the Carl Sagan quote, though it's a beautiful and important one. Lyrics? There's none, just vocalization. There's something in it. Something in the pattern of the strings, the heartbeat like of the drums that makes me cry and euphoric at the same time. It makes me want to move. Not exactly dance - more like spin in place. Spin the way I used to when I was a carefree little girl. As adults, we forget to do things just because they're fun like spinning and skipping and stepping in puddles.

YES! It's a feeling I get when I listen to the greatest show on earth. I can't listen wirhout crying so hard, especially in the beginning when there is only the piano part and then during Troy playing pipes. There is no other song that gives me this emotion. Not even close (and I cry to alot of songs). It hits like the "innerst core" and I can't even explain. Thank you for creating Nightwish!!!
There are Nightwish songs that bring out the same reaction with me...the first few notes and I have tears in my eyes. Being the genealogist in the family the opening numbers of ancestors were not a surprise to me and yet they still bring up may emotions ...Thank you for all the years of past music and always ready for the music there is still to come.

Finnish to me is the most beautiful language. I could listen to it for hours. It sounds magical.
Tuomas' thinking process never ceases to amaze me; he's a man of logic, yes, but also a dreamer, a sweet, gentle soul, I've sensed that multiple times, even when there are people who do not see him as someone empathetic, but rather strict or even cold-hearted. A cold person wouldn't have such vision of the world, humanity, friendship, and/or the tight bond between that he has with the rest of the team, which has created so many gorgeoua songs, because their energies flow in harmony with one another. I'm so looking forward to watch the next part(s) of this documentary.

This is the first time I joined the premiere for a video on youtube! This was way too short 😂! I could listen to him for hours. I´m a huge fan of Hans Zimmer, too. Chevaliers De Sangreal is indeed a beautiful song. It never fails to make me emotional. I´m looking forward to the next parts of the documentary!

Great, great, great. I love that the music is not only cool and fun but meaningful and deep at the same time. Like discribed in this clip, there are only very few songs that really touch me emotionally, and most of these are by Nightwish.

Cant agree more on how amazing it is that we are all here today. Life is a miracle and the world IS worth saving and valuing. So many people are deeply misanthropic and jaded, but people are worth saving, the world is worth saving, and its a great joy to see a band that celebrates the world instead.

Tuomas has taken care of the emotional, creative side of Nightwish, unmatched, but now if he can somehow take care of the business side, (whatever Marko means by that), then Marko has said he will consider returning. Wouldn't that be amazing! Tour in 2026 is my hope, with Marko.
Don't forget the orchestra! I hope that, once and for all, they do what the fans have been asking for years.
If I remember right Marko didn't rule out returning right? I'm hoping either way they do a tour in the US.

Poet and the pendulum, Ghost love score, Song of myself, Shoemaker, Tribal are a few of them.
Also songs from other bands, but not as often as songs by Nightwish.
Makes me happy, sad, makes me cry, gives me shivers all over, gives me strength.
