    Thank's Dave, your drawing gives us a better insight on how you are doing things!👍

    Visuals are very helpful. Stand placement surrounding food plots: the how/why/where, etc are a good addition to your content.

    Great video! I like getting the layout so I can better understand what you are teaching. Maybe in future videos when making improvements show a quick layout of the property and label where you are at. Keep up the hard work.

    With property management videos, for me, visualization is so important. This is a nice video. I would love to see more of this

    Love the video with the drawing Dave! Drawing things out like that I think helps a lot of people understand the layout which will help them understand what you are doing when filming in the field. Pointing things out on a drone photo or video when in the field could also be helpful to tie it all together. Thanks Dave!

      Is that incognito screening seed annual or perennial?

    • @Whitetailobsessionoutdoors
      @Whitetailobsessionoutdoors  Pƙed 3 lety +1

      @@douglasschuenemannjr.3728 it’s a annual. Typically I don’t use perennial screening because I change things each year. For a more permanent situation I would use switch grass

    Nice setup. Really enjoy seeing it drawn out. Curious on your seeding rates for the buckwheat and sunflower. Looks very good.

    • @Whitetailobsessionoutdoors
      @Whitetailobsessionoutdoors  Pƙed 3 lety

      Thanks nature appreciate that. Seeding rate for buckwheat I do about 50 pounds per acre and about 5 pounds of sunflowers. If I was seeding just buckwheat I typically do about 75 pounds per acre

    Nice video. Layout of your land looks great. How many acres total are you working with? How long have you been developing this land for deer hunting?

    • @Whitetailobsessionoutdoors
      @Whitetailobsessionoutdoors  Pƙed 3 lety

      Thanks. It’s 98 acres. I started right away 4 years ago on this piece. Food plots were the first thing. Then branched our from there

    How many hours did it take you to disc the 3 acre field with the firminator

    How does your plot screen stand up to heavy snow? I have a similar food plot in size, but need to advance the quality with some screening like you have.

    • @Whitetailobsessionoutdoors
      @Whitetailobsessionoutdoors  Pƙed 3 lety +1

      It holds up pretty good. Obviously it’s going to fall down with extreme snow but by that time hunting season is mostly over so it doesn’t matter. It all depends on how you pre it, follow soil samples and fertilizer recommendations

    Nice video, but do you have a water source on the property that they get their water from?

    • @Whitetailobsessionoutdoors
      @Whitetailobsessionoutdoors  Pƙed 3 lety +1

      Deer get 75 percent of there water content from plants. Not to concerned about putting one in.
      They do have a creek that flows through they can get some from.
