I remember Mayor Sara always said in one of her interviews even before her father was seated in the highest position in the country that the decision of his father outweighs their influences on him. A comprising agreement between him, Cayetano and PRRD was tailored in to fit the last three years term of the president. The president is a clever man. He knows what he wants and he will get it because those who believe in his visions will truly understand why and will support him all the way. I hope Velasco realizes this. And I’m sure, Mayor Sara knows this.

Rep. Lord Alan Velasco's main credintial to be speaker of the house is his close relationship w/the Duterte family. He has not proven himself as an effective Chairman of the Committee on Energy. He lacks the competence, the charisma and support of the majority of Congressmen. But Cayetano, a former senator and Sec.of Foreign Affairs , a statesman. Between the two of them, if I maybe allowed to vote Speaker Alan Peter Cayetano will be my choice. Speakership should be earned thru performance and not by mere influence.
