He was punished due to the wrong things he did, not because of injustice. History helps us understand what we must avoid to repeat from past's mistake. I don't believe the "nagawang maganda,"whatever it is, was not included in the history. All projects signed by FEM will always be there. The nation's debt during his term went to his projects and his pocket at the same time. Nutribun and Australian aid which was supposed to be completely free was used by LGUs to be people's income from making roads or other works. People just doesn't want to accept they were victims of corruption and they do not know how to change that. After all, after FEM, people still voted Cory, Erap and FPJ for president although having no background or knowledge about politics. Even senatorial elections, people think popularity and color matters.

You cannot control how other people think and talk coz of a lot of factors.
If one is educated MOST LIKELY ( see, I didn't type ALL) the person will listen to both sides but bear in mind other people have other viewpoints, too, albeit educated or not.
Before I thought, communication is the very important key to understand each person but I realized every time, it is one's ability to listen that makes a difference. One can communicate he/she all he/she wants but if the other person won't listen to you, then every word has no meaning. 😉

In 20 years ba namang umupo si FEM in power pag wala pa cyang nagawa ewan ko nalang. Bagsak ang ekonomiya natin as per record dahil sa laki ng foreign debts natin noon because of the graft and corruption cases of the Marcoses according to news and it is documented kaya nga may mga kaso sila hanggang ngaun dinidinig pa di ba? So I think kahit sing talino pa ni Rizal ang iluklok mo as President, aba e milagro kung mapaunlad nya kaagad ang Pilipinas! Kung may sumunod na presidente after Marcos na napaunlad kaagad ang Pilipinas then maybe isang cyang God! So don't ever compare what Marcos did when he was the president vs the other presidents after him. Konting common sense naman please.

And to counter the backlash with showbiz drama and her being just a “kid” just doesn’t make sense. She’s an adult and should be called out and questioned for her actions and intentions, just like everybody else.

Boy... thank you. As John Green said: we study history to understand our past and make decisions for our future because WE all make history. The real question that should have been asked is: has our history been tsismis? Despite na kaibigan Niya si Kris he managed to conduct a decent interview to all of the candidates especially Marcos. So Tama yung bata. Yung tsismis na hero si MacArthur... Naging history.

He may be associated to chismis pero kung iisipin, he has been a very good example of a data gatherer (in research) kung isinulat niya ang mga interview nya it would have been a qualitative research. Maybe instead of denying it, we should take a closer look at it. Study it and be as objective as possible. Maybe a part of an undisclosed history will be revealed (just my opinion).

I use reference of sources for me to validate any historical claim. If you have no references, the narratives become doubted or politically and religiously motivated. History is the narration of truth which when sought independently will lead to Unity and Peace.
