Apparently the reason why they named this one just "Forza Motorsport" rather than "Forza Motorsport 8" is because they see this being the one and only Motorsport for the forseeable future, and they'll keep updating this one over time rather than just making a new one, unlike the Horizon series.
Ahh okay that makes sense now. So I guess it’ll eventually get more courses added then🤔
Just like halo infinite 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yes, it is SAS so we’ll get new tracks, cars, competitions and updates and tweaks. Turn10 will be able to listen to feedback and then update the game, this is one of the reasons why it took so long to develop, as they wanted to make it easy to change and update 👍🏼
@@Jaguar32xhopefully not 🤞😅
@@Jaguar32xhalo infinite isn't a bad concept , the game is just bad , forza motorsport is actually pretty good
I’ve been strictly an Xbox player for over a decade and this Forza looks really well done. The “built not bought” idea seems like it’s going to work very well for this game. I don’t think it would go over as well in a Horizon game, but I really look forward to it in this one.
True, that's what I was thinking. At first I wasn't sure if it was the best idea but now when I think about it it's actually pretty brilliant. As long as we don't have to pay for extra courses😂
I think the Horizon games are where they got the idea. You level up each car in Horizon to get perks, they just changed it to levelling up cars to get parts. Im not a fan of the Horizon elements creeping into the Motorsport games. What's Motorsport about having to drive a GT3 race car for a few hours to be able to fit race brakes and slick tyres? They should have those as standard
@@paulb4519 to get RPG elements, you shouldn't be allowed to TURBO 2,000 hp RIGHT AWAY in a RACE sim setting, you should FEEL your way in. I think it is a BRILLIANT idea, I will have FUN mad fun, making a DRIFT car, making a turbo car, and a top speed car. all in one car, 3 different 350z's 3 different "playthroughs". wow.
Reviews like this remind me why console elitism is such a stain on the gaming community. The constant comparisons are annoying to see. I just want all of us to enjoy quality games.
I’m glad you gave it a fair chance. Respect.
I also believe social media has hurt the gaming community as well. Remember back in the day when you didn't know whether a game was good or not and simple just played the game regardless of the score? There are so many games I look back on in my early days of gaming that I enjoyed the hell out of because I didn't have anyone online telling me why it sucked or whatever. I miss those days. Nowadays people have an opinion on everything and if the slightest thing pisses them off you can be sure they're gonna get online and bitch about it.
@@SuperJumpReviews Ditto, man. It feels like they spend more time defending a company on Twitter that doesn’t even know they exist than play the damn games. Gran Turismo wasn’t a perfect game at launch. It looked great, but there were a handful of flaws and players were rightfully upset with it. A pretty mid career mode, shit race payouts, many cars, but not enough events to use them on, absolutely insane microtransaction prices, and to add insult to injury, the ludicrous car prices. That’s not even touching the iffy multiplayer.
FM isn’t perfect either. The game looks and plays so much better than FM7, but the car upgrade system needs a major overhaul. A CaRPG system sounds good in theory, but their execution is done very poorly. The car models also need a lot of work too. GT stays undefeated in that aspect. A lot of the time, the graphics, while absolutely stunning, make some of the models stand out and not in a good way. I wish they would take the time to remodel some of them. More detailed models would do wonders for the game.
All in all, I wish more gamers carried a lot more nuance in their takes on games. You’re entitled to your own opinion, but if you’re saying that a game has been perfect since its launch, I’m not gonna take you seriously. Every game has their flaws, especially at launch. It’s been over a year since GT7 released and with a few updates, it’s in a much better state than it was. I’m sure FM is gonna get the same treatment. I find it incredibly childish to slander a game you haven’t tried because it’s not on a console you like. That’s what a lot of “criticism” from console cultists comes down to; blatant slander.
@@SuperJumpReviews I almost let the IGN Starfield review kill my hype of the game. I still played it and ended up putting 200 hours into it and am still super into it. Easily my fav Bethesda game they've ever released. I only quit playing it yesterday to jump into Forza. People gotta understand a review is just one persons opinion.
But yes social media is mostly annoying to me. Console war BS just makes it worse.
such an honest reviewer, very frank. had a laugh at the part you mentioned you don't know how to change a tyre. Continue being you! great video!
Thanks Gordon! You rock man👊 This comment made my day😊
Well done mate on this neutral & fair review. Nice to see & quite rare! I like both consoles and say it how I see it and I just like what I like, not caring what platform a game is on first & not letting my views be swayed or clouded by what console it is on first because I lean more to one of the consoles over the other. You made it clear that the Sony PS5 is your go to console but that didn't affect your honest review on Microsoft's Forza Motorsport, and I respect that. Well done! Happy gaming.
Thanks! I appreciate the kind words. Yeah, although I prefer PS5, there are a lot of things about the Series X I really like as well. Backwards compatibility baby! Now that's something Sony still is struggling with. And just between you and me, I think the design of the Series X looks better🤫 In the end, I have to remind myself why I started playing games and why I continue to play games even into my adult years. It's simple to have fun😊Game on!
@@SuperJumpReviews Good for you! I am the same. I have both consoles too and I will buy a PS5 Pro which I hear is coming late next year but in saying that I will buy an upgraded XSX or next gen console day one on both sides when available lol. I can't help myself & just want the best gaming console. I also have a high-end gaming PC and even a Nintendo Switch lol. I love them all! I am a sucker for technology. Happy gaming mate.
As someone who plays on both consoles I appreciate your neutrality in this review. I really enjoy Gran Turismo 7 and I'm sure I'll continue to play it BUT I do have time for Forza Motorsport too. Bought the Premium Edition and so far I'm really digging the way the progression works.
I know, it's great isn't it? There's not much I can complain about regarding the progression system. Feels perfect.
I really like the car progression too. Although I kinda cringed when they first revealed it. We're so used to buying a car and immediately downloading a tune to take it to the top of its class, (at least that's what I always did), that we really don't understand how the base car even drives or what the parts do and how they affect handling. This new system changes that and I love it. It also makes the cars seem more special.
Great vid.
Also what's the background music name? Love the 80s synthvibe.
I'm a Xbox fanboy and I appreciate your honest take on the game. Good review!
I was going to comment the same thing 😂
No problem. I may be a Sony fanboy but I know a quality game when I see one😊
I concur. It's so refreshing.
I love this game so far... it feels so much more realistic than previous entries and I liked those alot. I will be playing the crap out of this...
Awesome! And it’s only going to get better with future updates😊
It was really refreshing not seeing $50 cars for sale…
I'm a big fan of forza and gta. I'm on xbox, so forza is my main but gta started my love for Sim racers.
So I really appreciate the non biased review.
Not being a fanboy goes a long way. And u just gained a sub lol
I agree, the rain fog day night driving is really wonderful. It’s definitely my favorite part of the game.
I know, it's great. Really adds that extra sense of immersion to racing games.
There are two possibilities for the GT4 "Venice" city track you're referring to: either Costa di Amalfi or Citta di Aria, both which are canonically in Italy, Costa near the Mediterranean sea.
As for my favorite aspects of the game itself are the penalty system, which is a nice improvement over previous games and the loading times on the Series S, which have left me really impressed because of how fast they are. Negative aspects are the AI, which can use some upgrades and the ever persistent, mandatory always online connection, which I still feel pretty pointless when you're just playing the single campaign mode. Otherwise, I'm liking the game, especially when considering how disappointing GT7 was at launch and it still is after over a year and a half later.
Yes! I looked it up and it’s the costa di amalfi track. God it still looks gorgeous on the ps2 after all these years. Now they need to bring that track back! And yes, I’m playing FM on the series x and the loading is virtually nonexistent 👍
Regarding no licensed music in game thats a good thing cuz that means years later game shouldnt disappear off digital stores due to license issues and on xbox u can easily load spotify pick a playlist adjust volume levels and get to racing to any music you want truly an experience IMO
That is a good point! I never thought of that👍
Car licensing will kill it eventually like forza 7
@Max-uv8le ok true but think of it like this now it'll just be car and track licensing so no music less red tape and more likely xbox will Renew the licenses to keep it going for a long time
@Max-uv8le the device spoke on this and said they'll be able to remove cars if need be due to the way they've restructured their car licensing deals.
Great review, you actually got to the point of matters, and quickly too. This is how you do a review no matter what "console" preferred.
Thanks! This just motivated me to do more reviews👍
Really well done 😊 liked and subbed bro! I actually already preordered and been playing(it’s fantastic) just wanted to see what other people think. Honest answer FM8 or GT7? What do you think?
Overall I like FM8 better but GT7 has that Tokyo Highway stage I really love...🤔
@@SuperJumpReviews yea fair, plus GT7 has VR. Idk why Xbox hasn’t made a VR machine recently.
Thanks for an honest review.
I prefer Motorsport to Horizon. The feel of the game is more tactile with a controller I feel in Motorsport.
The handling feels really consistent on motorsport compared to horizon and flows a bit better in my experience
Hey, no problem. Ahh I forgot to mention the haptic feedback on the controllers too. Oh well🤦🏻♂️btw, they're awesome if you're wondering😊
I love this game and handling, not a fan of horizon , the cars feel like theyre made of cement
You should check out the Thrustmaster gamepad that has a steering wheel module, it's incredible on this game. Takes some getting used to but when you do your lap times will improve. Of course a wheel and pedal setup is always preferred but this is the next best thing.
Good video brother, glad you enjoy Forza. It certainly looks like a solid entry. I enjoy your channel and I look forward to your next video. Have a great day!
Much appreciated! I wanted to change things up a little bit with this review. Glad you enjoyed it👍
@@SuperJumpReviews yeah, I noticed the change. I don't mind one bit. I am a GP subscriber myself, playing games on PC (I might get an Xbox Series X later, but right now I'm focusing on my PS5), so I am definitely interested to watch your non-Playstation content as well.
Super informative super good, earned a sub
Great Review SJR.
I've not really Played Driving Games for a very long time, is it worth Playing GT and Forza you think man.
They're really a huge time sink to be honest. If you're short on time and just need to get in a quick race I'd suggest Need for speed unbound or maybe on of the forza horizon games.
@@SuperJumpReviews ok cool cool brill, i will do that then man 😀
I have been playing for 2 days now.
The difference between Forza and GT7 is with Forza I feel like racing and with GT7 I feel like catching up cars. I'm talking about the career mode.
What do you mean catching up cars? Like are the cars too fast in GT7?
The career mode sometimes still has insane field spread, like the 1st place driver gaining a 3 second lead within the first lap. But that is to be expected of a totally new AI system, they will have to tweak it here and there to make it better. Outside of that though the game is awesome
@SuperJumpReviews
With GT7 you always start as the last and try to catch the cars 🚗 in front of you. In a 16 car race starting at the last place you can still finish first.
With Forza I gain places but need to look also defend my place in the pack.
Visually I prefer GT7 and online GT7 can be superior but the career mode is boring.
Also GT7 has many cars without any dedicated event... like the Group 2 class and electric cars. In the previous GT Sport every type of car had an event.
@@guidogos6031 i agree, ive finished all the mission races and all the license tests with 100% and almost finished the career mode races (still haven't beat that stupid fuji super formula race). there isnt much more for me to do, ive almost finished the game. and without ps plus to play multiplayer, all i can do is grind the online time trials to get money for my last achievement in the game where i need to buy 3 le mans winning cars from the legends dealership. after that, then what. how do they expect me to keep playing there game. I want to play more but theres no more to play.
Finally a realistic review from a PS fan, nice one.
As an Xbox fan, I can say it does lack a few things that Forza of old had and it could be better in a few places, but overall, for me it's a great game.
Well said!
I know what you mean by “Honest”. But it’s always funny to me when people say it.
It’s like saying most of the time you aren’t being honest when talking about something. But this time you are🙂
Theres been a lot of videos about Forza saying “honest opinion” or “brutally honest take”. I had to say something.
Anyways, great vid👍🏻 You get my sub.
I know exactly what you mean! Sometimes it irks me when I see people using “brutally honest” review when I can obviously tell they did not play more than a hour of the game. I really do try my best to be honest with my reviews 😊one time instead of using brutally I used “savagely honest” lol it didn’t turn out too well🤣🤣thanks for the sub!
@@SuperJumpReviews hahaa “Savagely Honest” I haven’t seen that one yet.
No worries, I’ll be looking forward to your content🤙🏻
Good to see you’re liking Forza!
I play on a wheel and have been playing GT7 since launch. I really enjoy this new forza, not sure why it’s getting so much hate, but whatever, it’s not stopping me from enjoying it.
ehh, it's the internet. People always gotta complain about something.
Hate or maybe just fair criticism?
@@SnakeNL24well, simply saying it’s a trash game is hating.
That's funny, I'm a xbox guy, playing Forza since 3, and always looking to GT with some jealousy ... but never was able to check it out.
You were jealous of GT and I was jealous of Forza. I guess everything is balanced in the universe😊
@@SuperJumpReviews and probably we tend to not value enough what we have, wanting what we don't have ... the usual thing ...
Forza has been solid for a while, I hit it when the Ford gt had drop'd and they used it in the demo. Plays well...
What’s you’re favorite forza?
@@SuperJumpReviews since that was my 1st time play'n it, forza 6, with the gt on the cover...
@@SuperJumpReviews no, I'm lying, forza 5 is where I picked it up and bought #6...
i hope we get a lot of patches and updates and they make forza motorsport to a masterpiece 😊
Yeah and free tracks too wouldn’t hurt either😊
It’s still bugged crashing at the end of races and when you buy cars …..deleted. Back to gt7. And with new snow track free lake Louise it blows forward motorsport away ,
oh nice. I'll check out that new snow track then.
@@SuperJumpReviews yeah man it’s brilliant .
I put 15 hours into ea wrc on my series x the screen tearing and frame drops kill it
I then went on forza all was ok till it started crashing having to re do races etc
Then I went on my ps5 gt7 new update and lake Louise track
Fantastic , never turned my Xbox on since
Forza is trash. Damn near unplayable
I’m mainly a PlayStation fan but do own a series X for Forza motorsport/gears and bc games that ps can’t do.
Same here! Also love the backwards compatibility feature too for original and Xbox 360 games😁
But this Forza Motorsport being a reboot, will it have a longevity for a while before Forza Motorsport 8 or 9 comes out ?
I don’t think they’ll be a forza Motorsport 9. I just found out that because it’s a reboot all future Motorsport games will come in the form of digital updates. So you can expect the game to get updated every several months with new cars, track, events, etc. or at least that’s what someone told me in the comments.
@@SuperJumpReviews that's right on.. that's the plan. Turn 10 has a very solid foundation here.. it's only gonna get better! Great review btw!
Wonderful! I give you "Best Review Award!"🎉😊
Wow, thanks!
It’s an arcade game, as an arcade game, would trade that for a new Ridge Racer on any day of the week. Tried on PC, went back to ACC and GT7 right after.
It wasn't claiming to be a hard core simulator
@@Lancr-jq2ortell that to half the fan base. I’ve seen it everywhere this is better than iracing, ACC, RF2, automobilista 2, on and on. It’s a great game and all but it’s no sim. Just on this comment section alone there’s a few stating they love sim racing and this is so great blah blah blah. So which is it? Sim or no? Because it’s not a sim. Most of the people saying this would hate the steep learning curve of a real sim and probably are not ready to drop the at least 1.5k needed for a decent DD rig. They just have a controller.
@naterod you can love sim Racing games and Forza. The 2 are not mutually exclusive. I play AC regularly but am still having vastly more fun in FM.
I have Iracing, AC , ACC and Automobilista.....and Forza......FM is superior to me but I'm just a casual racer....it's not too arcadey....and not too simulator. Fits me perfect I'm enjoying FM
Gran Turismo 6 had a real time night and day system which for the time was amazing, and they took it out for GT sport…
Did it have dynamic weather as well or just real time day and night?
@@SuperJumpReviews I can’t exactly call the weather part…I still own gt6 just not a ps3.
What monitor do you use
Black white colors
Samsung KS8000
There are no puddles in motorsport. There are no puddles on the road where if you drive through it to fast you lose control on the side of the wheel in the puddle.
When I saw the title I thought you were going to trash the game but it was a fair review. One criticism I have about both Forza Horizon and Gran Turismo is the always online if the servers go down you can’t play the game you paid for
When you said that the puddle interaction in Forza is better than Gran Turismo I knew that you dont know what youre talking about
through sadness comes love and through love comes happiness for love is joy the love has been given do not let it pass you love is patient it is waiting for you
Wtf?🤣🤣dude we’re talking about forza Motorsport here🤣
24 has been around since PS1/2 TOCA games...... Yep. Or GT5/6, Sport or Forza Motorsport 5+ entries maybe. Nothing new. Car sounds aren't always clear to me but GT4 mods yep I noticed the vacuums and better sounds. Events are car classes so their boring, the rain was on FM6.... Night was in FM1 & 6. 7 showed weather as well. Real world and less original has been the case in Forza they have original tracks they choose to ignore them. The accessibility is fine probably same as other games maybe a bit different. The car models are old or new/OG Xbox to Xbox One they vary with some models. That's what GT5&6 did Sport+ don't. 7 yes is Sport & GT7 new cars. Sport even had new original tracks and has 4 altered old tracks that are hit and miss. I love the fiorest mountain and mountain forest swap of Deep Forest and Trial Mountain.
Licenses are tedious but you want to learn defensive driving or the tricks to the game. You learn a lot, you play to learn not jump in to Forza with some tutorials but the physics are eh.
I hate GT5+ physics Sport I feel I barely control the car with assists yet any arcade racer you feel the car. Sim it differs of course but still.
Auto upgrades are bad, you want speed and barely smart tuning, go for it the game is so stupid that way. Events are basic and boring no restrictions or strategy like GT games have still today besides the linear but minor choices of GT7. FM8 Ian't FM6 yours linear and boring and no track choice at all I HOPE NOT but still.
The game's dumb things down. FM4 was the last great one. Ride 5 has split screen and is Ride 4 region system I think again like Ride 2 was Ride 1 but with FM6 like cutscenes. Yet that region system came from Forza Motorsport 1&2 and they improved it while having split screen tell me why Milestone isn't a better Dev then Turn 10. The pole select is cool but who cares.
WRC2023 has less typical cars but rally cars and Sega GT's car builder is awesome. Codemasters made Grid Legends and WRC2023 better games. Forza and Gran Turismo try things but in turn db them down.
Ride 4 was hard even on easy AI (maybe I need to tune the bike more but I didn't find the pro AI on easy aka the first events of the game fair or fun, I've 100%ed GT3&4, played many niche racing arcade and some, I know my way around their upgrades, tuning and more so I don't like it as much but even still. It at least has good ideas.
GT7 feels new but also Forza Motorsport 6 invites and roulette but worse. They took their opponents idea and made it worse. Like why.
Forza Motorsport is ok for average people but racing game fans find less fun in them, unless it's the cars then the gameplay and progression.
They are too basic to be fun, and have no challenge. Fair driving but not fun stakes.
Tuning and parts are well level gated in 7........ Level ups are I think gated in Forza 8 too but I guess ratchet weapon use way but too long I think. It's weird. It's engagement cough grinding. GT5 did levels but parts...... Hahahahaha that's hilariously grindy and silly. But each car to level up again and I never use upgrades in Forza Motorsport games ever well for high difficulty you probably need to but I don't do that. The base difficulty doesn't.
It's Forza Motorsport 7 car classes and slight openness and side challenges. Which is fine. It's not 6 linear and challenges on the side, or 5 championship approach.
Car candy or harems as prizes in 5-7 weren't good no idea how 8 does it. Using new ones all the time then upgrading hmm. That's what I've heard at least.
Holy flippin crap the AI in this game needs some work. Do the MX-5 cup on Laguna Seca, a one make race with slow, slow cars - the entire field forgets how to accelerate off the starting line because every AI car appears to be terrified of every other AI car or something. I can go from last to first place by turn 2 on the hardest difficulty setting. Nailed it!
Yeah hopefully they’ll patch the AI soon.
crank it up to the higher levels and you'll quickly see the quality of the AI. Still a little clunky off the line with dozens of them surrounding you, but once things open up, it's the best AI i've seen.
@@kinghell9061 What I described was the highest difficulty.
@@bosneb I see... I've yet to see what you're describing. I've noticed the AI doesn't seem to properly respect the players place on track, which is most notable at the start.. Hopefully they can improve on that.
@@kinghell9061 Hmm I mighta been on the 2nd highest difficulty when I went from last to first, just retested and on hardest difficulty I can only go from last to like 7th or so by turn 2. Still, needs lots of work on how they drive in traffic. I agree they can lap pretty well on their own.
Respect to you mate
Console wars is pathetic these days
Glad you gave it a fair chance
I miss the days where people just played games and had fun. Now it’s always a competition for some reason.
@@SuperJumpReviews yeah and it's stupid
I mean look at starfield
That game was great but it got review bombed just for existing
I'm genuinely scared that the video game industry will die because of this "console wars"
Just wish Polyphony Digital instead of doing sterile realistic graphics and sound to a more over the top and more floaty driving system of Forza. Many like the licensing requirements for Gran Turismo games and I don't overly mind them but it would be nice if PolyPhony would have adjusted times between gamers using a steering wheel and ones using a controller or if you choose specific difficulties then raise the requirement times. As for Gran Turismo 7 the Cafe pseudo story is lame AF.
We cry unicorn tears as pony fanboys
Yes, yes we do😂
The Amalfi coast 😊
Yes!!! That’s the one! Oh I love that track😊
4th UPDATED REVIEW: Ok guys this is what is up with the online mode. First and foremost, it appears that Microsoft thinks that some of us have alot of time in this world or are just sitting around watching porn and choking the rooster. It takes 26:60 minutes to practice, and qualify, and then another 45 seconds to start a race. You cannot use the Car-Upgrades XP that you earn playing the other modes of the game. The cars are set up to be on equal parts with everybody else. They are the same Class of Cars until you finish the Introduction of 3 different online races. You can then race online in different modes with the cars that you purchase, but so far they don't have the one that you can use the car you purchase with the Car Upgrades that you earned and equipped your car with. Stay tuned because it's coming in the upcoming events. You can only adjust the tires from soft, to medium, or hard and your gas tank so you don't overweight the cars with too much gasoline that you won't need to finish the race. If you are a Grease Monkey or a professional racing car crew member and know everything about cars you have an enormous advantage with the Tuning of your car to make it go faster with better handling. I personally cannot stop playing this game. Stay tuned for more updated reviews.✌✌👍👍👌👌🤞🤞
I like this Forza, the only thing the lack of tracks. For now it's a 8 overall in my opinion.
Yh good thing Turn 10 said they will be releasing a lot of tracks for free over time.
Free tracks?!?! For real? I hope that's true because that would be so awesome.
@@SuperJumpReviews Yh, it's a live service game and they've said there will be a lot of content added to it, partly why it's not called Forza Motorsport 8 as it's kind of a relaunch of the game using this model.
It's been confirmed that the Yas Marina track will be added to the game next month, another track in December that we don't know yet and the Nordschleife in Spring 2024. I'm sure they'll add more over the course of 2024 as well.
The cool thing as well is that they've said that the way the game has been designed is that all the new content will seamlessly integrate into the career mode.
omg, that is so awesome! Can't wait.@@JK_360_
@@JK_360_Duuude thats actually huge. I havent seen a game update singleplayer content post launch in a while, that I can think of.
I really hope they dont go scummy with the live service model, it seems like it could work. Especially since Forza Motorsport games usually take years to develop anyways, maybe itll keep this one alive until the next gen.
Forza is great, Ai needs checking though
I have a "feud" with Playstation since the Nintendo 64, my choosen platform. But I must say that I would be much more kind towards playstation, if the Playstation fanboys weren't so obnoxious. I mean, back in the day, most of them were bashing the smudged textures of n64, but I rarely saw anyone calling PS1 for the lack o z-buffer, that brought that trembling, incorrect 3d aspect, warping of textures, clipping of objects, etc. This trend kept rolling and worse, today, the guys that were 10 years old on the Ps1 era, now are running the big video game internet portals, and they simply can't let the nostalgia locked in the closet and try to be professional, so they keep feeding my hatred against the platform. Of course, I'm much older now, so I keep my own fanboyism in check, I have a PS1, Ps2 and PS3, and looking for a second hand PS4 Pro, though, my main platform is the Xbox.
All of this just to say that honest and moderate people like you, makes much easier to grown respect towards Sony, because you're not pushing other people buttons. Someone has to be the first one to concede, but after it starts, it becomes easier to both sides grown more respect for each other. I'm trying to buy a Series X (the scalpers still making it difficult to buy one!), but I'll gladly get a PS5 as soon as possible too.
PS: Forza has better graphics than GT7, no doubt, but I appreciate the GT7 color palete better, it's more colorful and vivid. The perfect game would have the Forza level of detail, and GT7 color aspect.
PS2: While I prefer the Xbox exclusives, the ones I love on Playstation are God Of War, Team Ico games and Motorstorm series.
GT4: Côte d'Azur Track
As a Gamer Fanboy, Yes.
👍
Great to see a PS fanboy showing love for gaming instead of hating only because it is not on the PS.
If you read YT comments you begin to think it is all hate nowadays. And that a game is perfect OR ! The worst ever. Nothing in between.
Some people forget we need each other to keep both companies honest. If one of the 2 goes away we all lose (Nintendo is doing his own thing).
People forget that competition is good and people forget that the only winners in this are the gamers. Game companies compete so that our games keep improving. I understand how one person can prefer one console over another, i.e., online infrastructure, controller, hardware, etc. but I'll never understand how some people can have such hatred towards another game console. I think people in the end ultimately forget why they're even playing games in the first place. To have fun! 😊
As a sim racer, forza motosport is not it for simmers.
i dont like the engine sound, feels off and drowny imo
Not buying new games, but I am impressed by the car sounds in this new FM. They aren't 100% accurate but they finally seem to properly utilize the sound engine, and make the RPMs actually match with the sound for all the cars I have seen. I haven't seen a game done this well, except maybe no-modding Assetto Corsa/Competizione. (Assetto Corsa mods are often off though...)
Accurate revs are a must to make high-rpm engines sound special. Looking at you Playground Games, with an artificial down-pitch variable added to your damn sound files since Horizon 3...
It was in Rome
Yes!!!! But what was the name of the course though?
The first honest review i saw
Why, what are other people saying about this game?
3rd UPDATED REVIEW: I played the Rivals mode with Class P Supercars and if you played and used all the Supercars with the hood view you can hear the vast differences in the engines and car sounds. This game was definitely RUSHED it needs at least no less than 4 more years. As the updates come and are completed is going to be a masterpiece.
Thanks for the hood view tip. 4 more years of development? Yikes!
I don't think it needs 4 years.. but def. needs patched. It's in a good state now but will only get better for sure. Def. needs more tracks.. and they will come.. free of charge. It's a great game as it is.. and will only get better!
Not really into realistic racing games tbh. I like car games like Driver San Francisco, Twisted Metal, and "kart racers" but the more realistic stuff is too lacking in plot or geniune structure to make me want to commit long term. A lot of them just seem like multiplayer games that just so happen that you can play them alone.
And there's nothing wrong with that :) the reason why people like these games is because we love cars and would love to drive them fast in real life. But we can't afford them, so this is the closest we'll be able to get to really see how these cars feel to drive. That and we would love to be race car drivers and this is as close as we can get the that as well 😂
So you should stay with mario kart for kids
I’ve never heard of driver San Francisco, is that similar to driver from the ps1?
I’m more of a need for speed guy myself😎
@@SuperJumpReviews
Fair enough.
This game is a huge let down to me. I like gt7 much better. I find the graphics look too cartoony. Car detail is not in the same league at gt7. I find gt7 much more fun to drive with a better sense of speed. I always found older gt games very accurate but a little bland and forza games to be more fun. It’s done a real flip flop this Gen.
It still looks pretty average....that handling looks ridiculous.
Complaining there is no highway attacks or city’s erm go play horizon
Exactly, it's a track racer
Could have tracks like Fujimi Kaido, or something similar to maybe Tokyo Express from GT. Hopefully the future updates bring in some city courses. Prague was nice from FM7.
@@frantz4g63 if you want city’s and highways go to horizon plain and simple it’s a track racer not ats
@Robson-pf3lu I'll pass on that. I'll shift between GT7 and FM and enjoy both. No complaints here, but if FM decides to add a road-based course like Tokyo Express on GT7, I'll take it. Also, your point isn't really a factor when Forza Motorsport previously had Fujimi Kaido. It isn't far-fetched for Turn10.
Game could look better in my opinion.
Turn on HDR
It certainly can, but at the cost of frame rate drops and inconsistent frame pacing. While I have some complains about the game, visuals aren't one of them.
Play on a 4K OLED then report back
@@krazycharlie I'd check your hardware. if you'e playing on Series X, it runs at a solid 60 fps or 30 with ray tracing. If you're playing on PC, you have to turn your settings down
This reviewer for sure uses pronom. All engines sound the same 🤨 those stupid license test 🤨 . And my favorite one , you need to turn on and off every option to know what they do 🤦♂️. Tell me your dumb without telling me you are . I have ps5 and Xbox series X . And I have always enjoy video games . I’m not a fan of any mega corporations. I like the art form that it . And GT7 is by a long shot much better . Graphics, gameplay , sounds.
FM & FH5 reminds me of the good old days of Sega’s Outrun, Rally, Daytona, Touring, Manx TT, Virtua Racing and Ferrari Challenge, all wrapped into one gift! Just loving the game. The only wish I have for this game would be a custom track builder.
I’m just glad Xbox has an exclusive. Personally, I’m not into racing sims. Definitely prefer arcade racers by a long shot.
Need for speed most wanted 2012 baby!!
@@SuperJumpReviews Yes sir! I love that game.
cultured@@SuperJumpReviews
Me too, but even more than that, I'm happy PC has a GT-like to play that works well with wheel, as FM7 is horrible, even better that I can swap between PC and Xbox
@@SuperJumpReviewsmost people who play nfs say nfs me 2012 is the worst and the 2005 version is the best nfs, but I think mw 2012 is much better
Hot persuite
fyi, dynamic daynight and weather have been in racing games long ago. Its not something new, this is just Forza's attempt to catch up
Forza understeer with plastic cars, hard pass.
The Xbox version is ok the pc version is absolute trash.
Oh man, what happened to the pc version?
The PC version is a terrible port and it stutters and has frame rate drops even on a $4000 gaming beast with an RTX 4090.
This is how should looks like todays gran turismo, which died with the gt4 series
Very scripted lol
Well, they usually all are😂
Fort-za? no such game
That’s how it’s supposed to be pronounced
@@baffledsquirrel2122 Only if you are italian. Otherwise it is For-za
Motorfest looks more fun than this. It's definitely better than that Horizin game
I have Motorfest but I haven't played it yet. Looking forward to it! Love the tropical setting.
How can you compare a competitive racer to The Crew 😭
It’s forza , not fortza, I don’t know why americans pronounce it that way
It is pronounced fortza. It is an Italian word.
Doesnt look fun. Wheres the fun ?
Depends if you like racing games. It look super fun to me.
the fun is learning to drive fast and keeping concentration. In arcade racers, you can pretty much sleep through a race and come out alive
Well said my friend!👍@pikkyuukyuun4741
Some people like to realistically drive a car instead of pulling 6 G's in a lambo and barely having to brake.
nothing compares to gran turismo series, the rest of the games looks like cartoons with thoes funky childish exhaust flames
