There's something I have always found mesmerizing about the animations of the first two Freddi Fish games. The overall aesthetic, expression, and shape of the characters vary a lot from an area to the other. Same can be said for Pajama Sam 1 and 2. In this case it can be noticed mostly with the size and position of the eyes. I can't really explain why but I find it really fascinating. Those games are true masterpieces !
Not to mention there was so many little things you could do just by clicking on random things

There's a certain magic to the Humongous Entertainment games that can never be matched. These games were a huge part of my childhood. These are feel-good games at their best.

I just realized I never finished this game as a child, meaning I took grandma's last peanut butter sandwich and just let her die.
I never finished either. I was too afraid of the Junkyard Dog fish to continue passed that point

Ahhhh nostalgia. Once I get my privileges back, and set my the old XP tower, I ought to do this and some other kid games from my childhood. After all, with a plot, but no frustration, and a lot of nostalgia, it'd be perfect!

I gotta admit, the 1996 Humongous and Junior Adventure logos (added to the 1998 reissue here) fit a lot better with this game than the original 1994 Humongous logo did.
The ending song of this game is terrific and one of my favorites. So is the one of The Sunken Ship. I will add both of them to Time Shift as the characters, having eluded the Headless Horseman (Michael Keaton), the Scarecrow Farmer Zombie Skeleton (Adam Gardiner), his African Wild Dog, the Tractormobile, the Steamrollericle and the Ghost Train, escaped Sleepy Hollow and identify a newsboard about the Scarecrow and meet Jean-Michel Cousteau and when all the mythical characters along with normaliteer, Justin, disappear completely and the other normaliteers mourn over them and begin to miss them, Putt-Putt and Casey Junior traverse the far future and spread Christmas cheer!
Oh, I played this games (and other Freddy Fish and Putt-Putt games) so much when I was young.. nostalgic feelings..

If Humongous was still active, I would inform them by noted letter that all the games ought to have their situations and solutions all together to expand them with new scenes and lines of words.

19:52 The Angler Fish! I played Freddi Fish in Elementary school just before I watched Disney Pixar movie "Finding Nemo" in movie theaters. As I watch the movie, saw the Angler fish chasing Marlin and Dory, it made me remembered this game!
man this game was so satisfying and beautiful. i also loved the tonka(?) truck games and a playdoh game, and a candyland game.

I remember playing this a lot at my grandmothers house along with Putt Putt Saves The Zoo. Personally, I like that this Freddie Fish game randomized everything so it doesn't get stale everytime you play it. Not sure about the others.
I rememeber Eddie The Eel saying, "What do you think I am, a dogfish?" if you try the bone. Plus, I don't know why but when Eddie says, "Uh-uh! You're not getting past me," it's pretty funny.
