Here we are with Freddi Fish 4. I used debug mode to change the paths, and that screwed me up at one point; I was wondering why I couldn't find a fifth purple sea urchin. Due to this, I had to use item debug to raise it up by one myself. I figured it out after finishing the walkthrough - because I had changed hat paths, one purple sea urchin was lost in the process. It was supposed to be next to the shark cave, but because I had changed it, it was impossible to get. I'll try to make sure this doesn't happen again.
This is, by far, my least favorite Freddi Fish game. I am sorry, but I agree with dshban here. This game is pretty boring. It might be because I dislike western settings, but this game just never appealed to me. I found that some of the characters had no development and were unmemorable, and the setting looked too similar between every screen. The minigames were all time-wasting IMO. I did like the puzzles though, as I thought they balanced it all out, and the variety between each path was also quite high. I also liked how here, they don't just tell you the possible culprits right away. Instead, you look for the actions they make to show they could possibly be behind it all. - Hry
my dad was a software engineer at Humongous and we always had these games at home. i remember playing through them over and over again, so this is giving me huge nostalgia vibes and i love it sm
They really made the best games.
My mom was cleaning out the house I grew up in and found this game. Almost brought tears to my eyes, so much hardcore nostalgia from this game. Playing it over and over again, having all the missions and sayings memorized. It sounds stupid, but this was such a huge part of my childhood. Such pure entertainment 😭
He work at humongous entertainment you shoud be proud of him for success with these
I remember playing Pajama Sam and Freddi Fish all the time as a kid. This was my favorite out of all the Freddi Fish games.
My favorite games were pajama Sam
"Be careful, don't ever mention g-l-u-e around old Elmer, spooks him something awful."
Great stealth joke. XD
Who’s got against glue?
This game was everything to me. I love how every time you play some of the scenarios are different. Always made the game fresh
Luther: "Nobody knows the trouble I've seen...."
Like uncle like nephew. XD
Lol😃. Never noticed that😁
Ah, from FF3
(Grunting)
Luther: It didn't even budge!
Freddi: Nope. This door is definitely locked.
i appreciate that you really drug out the milkshake part... i remember doing that for AGES just to see all the diff kinds
This game is something I so happily remember...holy cow.
I was about 5 or 6 when I first played this.
I'm happy that you humored my childhood by doing all of the different sodas at the saloon. XD
Holy crap, I did the same thing too!
I swear there was a prickly pare soda
What always got me going was Luther's struggle to catch the glasses with his UUUUUUHHHHHH... OUCH! It's just too funny.

5:15 Wade Winston Wilson AKA Deadpool Merc with the Mouth: Freddi Fish and Luther end up soured by the taste of the Pickle Soda!
@Zeke, Casper and Deadpoolz Groovy Stuff Movies22 that always cracks me up
When I first played this game, I was five years old, and I loved playing with all of the things you can click outside of the plot. Ahh, the memories.
This is actually one of my favorite Freddi Fish games, not only do they let you try to figure out who the culprit is before the crowd shows up (unlike the previous game) but I love Old West stuff.
The fifth one is another favorite, because I love how the sea monster isn't the badguy plus I'd love to visit that town.
Wish all these games could actually be visited instead of just played, I'd love to transform into a fish and solve mysteries with Freddi and Luther, be Pajama Sam's friend (or at least babysitter, since I'm over eighteen) and travel to those other dimensions with him, and be Spy Fox's partner and solve crimes with him.
I'd even love to visit the zoo and circus with Putt-Putt, at least in that World the animals willingly perform in circuses and even love it. Unlike here where animal performances have been banned from circuses now. I mean I'm all for it, I don't want animals abused or anything, but I'm sad that kids of the future won't really get to enjoy an old-fashioned circus like kids of the past did. Heck I never experienced one either, sad to say.
I like how they make the suspects even more suspicious by having them call or send out vague messages to unknown recipients. You don't know whether they're messaging the rustlers or off-screen characters that have nothing to do with the plot.
+MWolfL If you ask me, that's actually pretty brilliant. :P
I know this is 5 years late, but I agree. It sets up more of a mystery for kids to figure out who "Mr. Big" is. When I played this game, I usually got Nelson as the one who was the culprit, but to be funny, I would literally select the completely innocent people to be funny just to see what they say. I eventually caught on to who did it, though.
Sorry to be offtopic but does someone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account..?
I was stupid lost my login password. I appreciate any tips you can give me
@Spencer Titus instablaster =)
@Major Trace I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and im trying it out atm.
Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Childhood is rushing back
I remember making Luther eat a crap ton of pepper and rubber gum. Ahhhhh childhood
classic
Luther is very silly in this game. XD
Luther: "Why is the room spinning?!"
Freddi: "It's not, Luther. You are."
Shadow & Zero's Channel Yeah, Luther always cracked me up in this game. In fact I think this is actually the best written game in the series just because of how many good jokes there are.
HumongousSoundtracks I agree. I did laugh quite a bit when I've first played it. Oh how many times I've fed Luther rubber bubble gum which results in him swallowing it... XD
“Oh. That’s better.”
35:17
@@ZeroKnight95 I want a video of Luther swallowing gum many times

Sooooo much Nostalgia, I played this so much when I was little
that octopus making a phone call to the bad guy after you leave the saloon was revolutionary to 6yo me
Finding this is like finding a long lost family member
You are so right
Ah, the soda parlor! I loved that place! This was one of my favorites back in the day.
NOSTALGIA LEVEL TOO HIGH AHHHHH
brain.exe has stopped working
Hank Hill you mean BWAHHH
Sayori's Bodyguard that is so funny
The reason this is my favorite freddi fish game is because the game allways changes every round you plsy.
6:55 I love the Scale Rider short :D
"I'm lookin' for Finn Eastwood."
"You feel guppy? Well, do ya?"
looking back at these games as an adult, there was a absurdly high amount of crime taking place in the ocean
Are you telling me he wasn't the least bit concerned about the fact they were putting an "S" on the belt?
I got this game back in 2003 when I had almost started kindergarten. I'm almost 18 now. Miss playing it so much
I watched this completely for nostalgia. This had the most giddy and happy smile on my face the whole time. My childhood
Me too! The music, the graphics, character voices, old program audio static - I can imagine myself sitting in my old house in 2005 behind a big HP monitor endlessly playing CD-ROM games with a pair of over-the-ear headphones. This is quintessential childhood, for me!
My childhood is back. I played this game all the time when I was kid
Everybody is growing up with these games
16:31 Okay Freddi, that's where I draw the line, how did you fit the piece of 6x6 in your pocket!?
It's funny, occasionally they actually point it out themselves.
"How did you do that?" "That's my special secret."
HumongousSoundtracks lol, I wondered that as a kid too
Miles Targosz the better question is: how does Freddi have pockets anyway
Apparently he puts things under his fin. Doesn’t make any more sense, but still.
Humongous Fan Soundtracks when did they mention that
Anyone else here because of memories?
This game is one of the nicest memories I have of anything. For so many years this old western style town has made me love old west aesthetics. If the internet didn't become so big I never would have been able to find this again.
Oh my god the nostalgia!!!
Damn I remember playing this game as a kid.. Never finished it. I'm tempted to buy it on steam
I think you can buy all five Freddi Fish games for $7.50 or so on Steam.
oh my god, i just had a flasback to 12 years ago when i would ply this for hours, and over and over again for years oh god
7:09 Fin Eastwood makes me think of maybe it's referencing Clint Eastwood.
whoa, BLUES CLUES CD-rom?
Dang, I'm old. Sorry for posting twice, guys!
I was like 5 when I would play these. I would learn how to read pretty well so they gave me games to follow along with. Also Because broadband was the only we could afford. Lots of working from home for my parents at the time.
6:45 - Oh, hell no! I remember that shark TERRIFYING me as a kid! =C
16:28 This is the most impressive thing about Freddi
I disagree that you find this to be the worst game in the series, but granted a lot of the reasons I love this game is because I enjoy the cowboy theme implemented, though I know it isn't everyone's cup of tea. But still, thanks for uploading a playthrough of this game!
the moment you realise the suspicious pianist octopus in your childhood is not actually "bad", the only bad thing was my english.
omg i'm getting nostalgia all over it
lol, I remember making them go under the jellyfish and get stung like 20 times...
I love the music in this particular game, especially the track that starts at 11:15.
In the game, the hammerfish and sawfish are looking for a piece of wood in the form of square. Freddi brought the wood for them at 25:05, and sawfish placed a nail at the bottom of the wood. When the sawfish finished hitting the nail with the hammerfish, the nail is disappeared at 25:56.
Also, why does Freddi have to help them when the sawfish and the hammerfish didn't use the screwdriver to fix anything?
Mr big is always someone different each playthrough if I'm not mistaken
Indeed.
When He Swallowed Cayenne, I Told Luther: "I Wouldn't Do That, If I Were You!"
When He Swallowed Pepper, I Told Luther: "Gesundheit."
6:29 It looks very much like from MTV when a episode goes has longer than scheduled and has to go straight the next one but from the beginning.
When I first played it I didn't like it that much, but now in my opinion it is a masterpiece almost as good as the second and third ones! The western setting is pretty awesomne and the endgame is one of the best in my opinion! I usually constantly dream sometimes about a new Freddi Fish game and they are always somewhat inspired by the endgame from this game! I just love this game so much!
Also, I just realized the origins of my true crime and mystery obsession stems from the Whodunnit ending of this game. Mind blown.
Freddi is a girl?! How was I supposed to know that without big girly eyelashes or red lips?
I agree, I was confused at first, too, when I played the first Freddi Fish as a kid. I'm kinda glad, though, that this game didn't get too stereotypical with the female appearances, though. I think maybe the only indication we could probably have is that Freddi's name is simply spelled with an I instead of a Y or IE like most boys named Freddy/Freddie are.
ʜᴇʀ ᴠᴏɪᴄᴇ ɪs ғᴇᴍɪɴɪɴᴇ
@@nascarfanatic2425 The seahorse in the beginning called her "ma'am" lol
@@luck0717 I know that. But again, I already knew prior to this game that Freddi was a girl. It was the FIRST (1st) Freddi Fish game, "Freddi Fish and the Case of the Missing Kelp Seeds" where I was confused at first.
I have had my mind blown three times in my life. The first time was when I realized Freddi was a girl.
Once I saw this walkthrough I was excited for one thing. That thing happened at 35:56. I'm haven't seen that in so long. Idk why I wanted to see it so bad, but it gives me such nostalgia.
*35:56* - *36:10* Cayenne
*36:30* - *36:43* Pepper
*36:56* - *37:09* Lemongrass
Anyone else realize now that they are older they got what that joke was about with the glue thing? XD Dirty joke in a kids game that's a new one XD
It's not really dirty, it's just kinda... morbid
Wow, that bar was very generous.
37:33 The moment you realize... Luthor's into inflation
0:10:43 when I saw that back when I was four, I got so mad at him for lying!
It been interesting. I replayed some of the games that I used to play on Ast Adventure desktop. Thanks for releasing them on steam.
6:30 to 6:55 is the most comical part of the game. Some music band members play a jazz at a club, but stop each time a strange black shark-like creature passes above the club.
lol, I LOVED the different paths. I didn't know this game had debug. I used that on Harry Potter all the time. Anyways I liked the path that didn't have the whale at 16:50...that part just felt a little off. I think the first time I played a version with Fluke I was like, "WTF...how come I didn't know this area existed??"
Can we acknowledge that Luther literally ate rubber? Imagine how destroyed his digestive system was after that.
With the Stolen Conch Shell ported to consoles, hopefully this will be next!
8:37 that was terrifying when i was a kid :D
I used to hate the octopus piano guy and thought he was evil.
NyanCat1907
Wade Winston Wilson AKA Deadpool Merc with the Mouth: You mean Eight Finger Phil? I always thought E Tippet was the villain myself he's soooo rude for a (Censored) old bearded senior hermit crab. 24:37 Go away I'm waiting for a important package!
I play the entire game without talking to the three Octos out front of the sodaloon until I need to dye the hat
This is the greatest thing on CZcams
OHMAHGERD I MISS PLAYING THIS GAME SO MUCH..
This one was pretty difficult to me..
49:19-49:26 freddi's face was priceless
"Someone came and *took* them without asking."
"That's not right!"
"No *it isn't*"
35:42 best part of the game
These games, plus Pajama Sam and Put-Put, were my LIFE. Considering getting them on Steam...for nostalgia I guess? I’m a 24 year old jobless college grad with zero pride left, so why not?
Also, my sister and I spent 80% of gameplay time ordering sodas over and over again.
Nostalgia overload!!
36:40 I remember this scene
I had an odd childhood. At 6 years old, I would go back and forth between this and Aliens Versus Predator.
Me too. When I was 6, I’d be playing games like this one minute and watching James Cameron’s Titanic the next.
I love going back to what I liked about this game after I knew to go in the saloon.
The music in the Sodaloon ( 3:30 to 10:45 ) has so much nostalgic value to me it's crazy...
I just realized something: the mailman U? He delivers snail mail! XD
omg i just realized they're singing 'freddi fish' in the opening song!
also i've never seen them actually catch those sodas?
My childhood 🤠
Freddi:I think you should give yourselves up! Luther:You're under arrest for the name of the law!
I always play the video in fullscreen, and sometimes I get so involved in what's going on I move my mouse to click, and I'm just like "WAIT a second!!!!"
Freddi Fish! This one and the one with the kelp seeds!
I went through my desk drawer with all my old CD-ROMS and I found all 5 of the Freddi Fish games (not to mention, all 3 Pajama Sams, about 4 Putt-Putts, and 2 Spy Foxes :D :D Plus the mini-game disk Cheese Chase!!) I was so happy :D I tried them all in my new Vista computer, and believe it or not, they all worked! (With the exception of PJ Sam 1, which had suffered some unrepairable scratches :O ) I love these games so much, both for the fun they provide and the nostalgic value. Thanks so much!
Lol i had this game as a kid and idk and it stopped working and I was so mad lol. My dad tried to help me but nothing worked lol and i just cried. He didnt wanna hear me cry and said "Just ask Santa for a new Freddi Fish game" and I did and didnt get this one and got the case of the stolen conch shell lol. I really liked the one i got though 😀. I did miss this one though as a kid and kept trying the disc but it didnt work
OMG THE NOSTALGIA HURTS
Freddi after finding the burglars: "alright you broke sushi, it's high noon *loads water gun* "
Don’t you mean “it’s High Tide” ?
Geez, there's a magazine for rustling? That's disturbing.
52:43 Lol. I loved to pop the bubbles like that🥰, from each end to the other, was fascinated by how they all they back in a rhythm😌 (if you did it right😉)
😁Just noticed I have that exact image of the hook🪝
I spent years as a child stuck on the hat, it took so long for me to figure out that the hat could be dyed!
The first Freddi Fish game I played. Oh god the memories.... I still have the game to this day but I can't play it cause our CD player is busted.
WOW I MISS THIS GAME
I love that I have all these games on Steam.
omg, I loved this game as a kid. 2001 was such a great year for me!
I've the best memories with this one!
I never play this before. I only had the first version.
Thank you for the video.
Holy crap. Nostalgia overload.
When Luther said 6 1/2 minimum. HAHAHA!
Man I miss playing this game.
Wish I hadn't lost it... :(
Its on steam!!!
They’re all on Steam now (I think).
The 4th game is the best one!
My childhood!!
Pretty sure Fluke wasn’t in it the first time I played the game. I always liked how you got multiple versions of the same game.
