- Bonjour à tous, its back to work outside for the family and work continues with the chateaux original service entrance. Now the gates are fitted the family turn there attention to the original cobble stones and how they can reuse them to enhance the entrance and wha a difference it makes, plus the family a new post box if for any chateau which needs to be fitted in place.

About us,
We are a family from the North-East of England following our dream to restore a beautiful abandoned french Château. We discovered the heart stopping Château De Lalacelle in summer of 2020, this beautiful architectural monument Is set in the countryside of North-West France.
The moment we visited the Château we all fell in love, from the beautiful sweeping landscape and forests, to its stunning untouched interiors and magnificent spiral staircase in the turret.
Unfortunately Château De Lalacelle has been abandoned for a number of decades so will need a lot of restoration and DIY.

Patrick is so funny to watch. Him walking in the trench you dug was like it was made for him and his wee little legs. In my town of Savannah, GA, it is a shipping port and when the old British ships use to come over, they would fill their ships with the cobblestones as ballast and throw it all out when they got here to fill up the ships with the goods. All of those cobblestones got made into the streets and ramps and tourists flock to River Street to stumble around on them. Your cobblestones look nice and happy that you found a way to re-purpose them into the drive. Turned out looking really nice! Well done and thanks for sharing

What would Patrick do without you two? He loves to be with you. Love the post box. I worked like Tracy works on the property that I own. I built a field stone patio, pulled out tree stumps by hand, did all the painting, wallpapering, and sewed the drapes. I like to know how to do practical things. I think this is why I love your channel so much. Tracy is strong and healthy and she does beautiful work.

It’s incredible the amount of good work you have accomplished in the last couple years. I watch a lot of sailboat building, and I can’t believe how much longer it takes to build a boat than it’s taken for you to turn around acres and buildings. Hats off…
