I'm taking dual enrollment but I'm thinking about switching out because I'm not sure if the credits will transfer outside of Spelman. I'm taking them in Pennsylvania
I just got in but with a 3.8 unweighted and only 3 clubs all High school, with only 1 vp possision for 1 year before I quit. I really want to go but the money is so much so I'm trying to see what I can apply to in april(I know it's late but none of my counselors had been helping me this whole year and I I'm a a first generation Nigerian American so my parents don't know how school applications works in America)
Congrats sis!!!💙💙💙 I completely understand! Try looking on fastweb for scholarships! Also, I would contact financial aid! They have a lot of funds that were suppose to go to incoming students so hopefully you could receive some of those!! I’m honestly scared I won’t get in because of my unweighted gpa. I applied early decision. I have a 3.2/4.3, 2 clubs, vp of one, had a summer job, mostly all honors classes, leadership project, and volunteered at many places along w/ an internship.. do you think I’ll be ok?

will getting c’s in some classes affect your acceptance even if your unweighted gpa is above 3.0 and your weighted is above 4.0?
No it’s shouldn’t affect it!! You definitely still have a chance! 😊 they don’t only look at grades!

I received my email on December 21st! And my blue envelope came on the 28th! 😊

did your admission decision come on the exact decision date or earlier/later?
I can’t remember what day it was supposed to come but I think mine came in earlier! I got it on December 23rd! But they ship letters out in certain amounts everyday so usually it spans out for about a week or two depending on when they mail them out! Some of my friends received theirs a few days earlier than me and some received theirs days later! It could also depend on where you live!
Update: I checked again! I received my email on December 21st! And my blue envelope came on the 28th! 😊
