We use a roaster for the turkey so we can cook other things in the oven like the garlic Mac and cheese and the stuffing!

Girl you need a roaster! I always use the roaster for the ham or turkey on the holidays so my oven is free for the sides. Or to keep burgers and hotdogs warm at birthday parties, etc. Roasters come in handy when you have a larger family. Sweet Rosie at the end. She melts my heart. So full of love! Enjoy your holiday 💟

You need to look into getting a second oven or one of those that is two small ovens in the place of one so that way you can have like 3. Too many people in that house for a single oven lol or at the very least investing in a Breville smart oven for the casseroles

Oh the minced onions! You could make Dutch huspot! I just learned how and it is so good. My Dutch friend said it's best with turkey gravy. I like it with butter.

Great video! I almost always make my turkey the day before we need it. I refrigerate until the day of serving and warm it in my crock pot with all the juices to keep it moist. Happy Thanksgiving!

We do the overnight cook on the turkey. Ours is that pretty carve the turkey at the table but it does fall off the bone and is juicy!!!!

Sounds like you’ve got a big beautiful family Thanksgiving. I’m planning things out like you and trying to figure out when I can cook ahead. There’s 7 of us but only 5 eaters (baby, and older child who is formula fed through gj tube) Beautiful family! Have a blessed Thanksgiving from us here in Georgia.

Also, my grandma always cooked the turkey the day before then cut it and put it in a pan with juices and warmed it up before meal time.
We cook our turkey on the BBQ to keep the heat out of the house and to make room in the oven. Also, Jamie Oliver has a make ahead gravy starter that we have used now for years that is awesome!
I always cook my turkey low and overnight - best turkey EVER!
I live in Canada and while some of us cook our birds overnight, upside down, topside right, stuffed, or unstuffed many still cook their birds 20 min per pound at a reasonably higher temp. I think there is no one "right" way to cook a bird except to make sure you cooked the bird all the way through and that you enjoy it the way you prepare it.
All so good choices, yes over Night cooking for Turkey or Christmas Ham.
Or Smoker we got too, my husband done that too.

A low and slow cooked turkey is never dry. I've always done it that way..overnight for a big turkey.
I know this is late but we would also cook over night then cut it up and put it in a casserole dish and make the gravy and pour it over the turkey.... cover with tin foil and a tea towel and aside and then warm up 10- 20 mins before... basically if you just keep it on the counter with tin foil over it and a tea towel is still warm by 2 or 3 when you are ready to eat. ... basically just a quick warm up before serving! 🦃 ❤️
My grandmother swore by cooking the turkey all night low and slow, it was always delicious!

Peppermint stick ice cream with homemade hot fudge is a holiday favorite in our house!
Tammy from Collard Valley Cook's said her grandma always took out the seeds from the banana when making banana pudding. The seeds are what turns brown and spoils appearance of pudding.
I've never tried but makes sense. Happy Thanksgiving!!
