Yeah He's gotten way better over the last year or so. I think he mentioned he was getting lessons a couple years ago,

It really is, but watch how much more often Pete turns to try to make eye contact and check in on the groove compared to Lee. He's showing his skill by constructing a context in which Lee can really thrive. That generousity is the most satisfying thing about playing with a very skilled player.

If Iâm not mistaken Lee seems to be shy/a bit lost for ideas as to what he should play, when he is demoing a guitar by himself.
But Pete and Lee are very good friends, and I think that Pete knows how much talent Lee actually has and that he just needs a âbackingtrackâ to bring it all out. And sure enough - as soon as Pete starts to jam, and Lee plays on top of it, he just sounds like a completely different guitarplayer. Lee is a really skilled player and has great technique and feel, and Pete is a gentleman and a good friend for helping Lee out. I love you guys! And I also love these badass Telecasters. Okay, wait a minute here. WHAT is going on with LEE'S playing?!? It's like he engaged warp drive or something over the past month or so. Completely new riffs, ranges, modes. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over... And congrats, Captain. Sheesh.
Lee should open an Anderton's Club House (like Daryl's House) in Guildford and feature guest artist along with his house band..Pete, Rob, Rabea, and of course the Captain!!!! I'd make the trip across the pond to watch them all jam!

Lee has seriously stepped up his playing game these days. I guess DP brings the best out in him LOL.
To be fair, Pete on rhythm could probably even make me sound good (and I'm bad). But we can definitely appreciate the work Lee's put in over the past couple years. You can hear the improvement.

Itâs weird how Iâve started to fall for teles as Iâve gotten older too. Seeing what Ritchie Kotzen does on one doesnât hurt...
I turned 40 last year and just bought my first tele after 30 years of playing. It is my main player right now.
Kotzen is God on tele
You have to hate them for 20 years or so before you realize they're perfect.
I've been through quite a few guitars, and my tele is about all I play at this point. They're just the perfect guitar. Super simple, light, easy to play, sounds fantastic, as versatile as any 2 single-coil guitar could ever be... I mean what else do you want?

I'm not a huge fan of the relicing but that green one is gorgeous. I'd maybe force myself to take a hammer to the old piggy bank for one of them.

I've had Teles off and on for years and never really gave them a chance. Pete, your love of the purple Tele has put me on a mission through the quarantine to really learn a Tele and I can't thank you enough!!!
As someone who also works in a guitar store, relic finish guitars are way more popular. It's just that the people who don't like relics tend to shout louder about it than anybody else

If only there were non-relic versions of these. New, fresh, shinny ones that I could play & wear them off myself, I DEFINITELY...wouldn't be able to afford them either.

Great playing and great entertainment I watch Andertons vids every day, even though I just donât get the beat up aged thing. When I spend money on a new guitar I want it new not beat to hell. The only exception I made was the Gretsch MY replica.

Nice. Goes to show you can do it all with a Tele. No frills, just the basics. The Tele is still my favorite guitar out there. I always look at the new stuff thatâs out there, but always end up getting another Tele or Strat. Rock on Fender!
All phenomenal!! I own an AM vintage reissue Tele. I have tried CS Tele several times and they were absolutely fantastic.
I've been a Fender Jaguar, Jazzmaster and Mustang player all of my guitar playing life and recently it dawned on me: I NEED A TELE! But since I don't have ÂŁ4.000 to spend on one of these amazing guitars I got a Fender American Performer Tele and damn that's a great guitar as well! Really love it!

Took me 30 years to buy my first Tele. Felt like I should have one but knew I'd never play it live enough to spend a fortune on one so ended up buying a second hand Aria Pro II Frontline as a fixer-upper. Liked it so much I bought a brand new one recently and the neck and action on it is simply stunning for a ÂŁ140 guitar. Love playing it and the slightly thicker neck and wider string spacing suit my large hands just great!!
Teles and 335's. Nice to know there is someone else out there that is like minded. Love you guys. You make it all fun.

That teal green is sooo nice. Bought my first electric last month and itâs a decent Tele copy budget. After watching Pete play his purple relic i was immediately drawn to it.
My wife just bought me my first Tele for Christmas, a Mexican Nashville deluxe and wow, it is just amazing, I now have every tone I was ever after and so much grunt ! I canât believe it took me so many years to convert to a Tele but (stupidly) I always thought they werenât âcoolâ enough.

Custom home made out of very fresh sap pine but the black gloss finish stuck to it great and looks great ! Big old maple neck with super glue wicked frets like prs and nitrocellulose schlak neck finish sanded and rubbed fine and smooth like a toasted maple neck and almost has the look too!
In all seriousness Lee has the best neck pickup tone I e heard for a long time just glorious Lee!

Honest truth here...I was playing my Strat into my HRD lastnight for about an hour...then picked up my Tele and played the exact same thing and was immediately playing different. A tele just has something special about it, it just gives you all the right feedback from the body and neck.
I love my Strats but the one Tele I own is just amazing. There is such a thing as a âfeelâ. A Fender Telecaster into a Fender Tube amp is hard to beat.
Just working the controls it's so satisfying...it frees you up to just play....I found the same thing on my mess Paul... The times are just there with my strats I am always fiddling with it... love it but fiddley đ
Cant't help but I get inspired by new gorgeous looking guitars, not beaten up overpriced relics but hey, that's why we all have something to choose from. Tele's are great!

I'm never quite convinced about some of the wear on the fretboard with these Fenders, sometimes it's pretty good and other times it looks like someone has had a go with a Dremel!
