how I use unistrut to create my ground mount for my solar panels. everything I use you can get it at any Home Depot Lowe's or Menards back in the electrical section.
Nice job! I'm looking to do something similar both on the ground and on the roof using unistrut myself. Thanks for posting. Clarifies exactly how I need to do things!
Man i love what y0u are doing. Im a truck driver and i e ordered 30 gramd of equipment but im rarely home to get it all installed. 2 or 3 days a month at most. Hopefully soon i can be home long wnough to get some rack pit together. Thanks for the video for sure
Very nice job, the solar panel mount looks strong & sturdy. I would prefer the panels to be at least a foot or 2 from the ground but obviously this isn't an issue in your case. Thanks for sharing!
Awesome. That is crystal clear. Thank you for sharing your excellent work with us. I will be modelling your ground mount at my house this weekend. Cheers!
Man, if those were 2x4 lumber it would have cost like a million bucks these days. Our local metal store sells Uni strut in 20 foot lengths and I think a couple different thicknesses, it’s a pretty darn good deal from them.
Great idea! Solid, simple and inexpensive. One question I don't see the ground for each panel or a grounding rod. Is it running through the unit strut?...
Great job. I was thinking of doing similar but vertical w 320 watt panels. Do you think it would be able to hold 1 panel rows vertical at 90 degree up no slant?
I used the cone nuts that comes with the unit strut to mount the panels. I have a video about it can't remember the name of it but if you look it's like maybe 6 months ago.
I’ve been researching diy ground mounts and came across this video. I found my solution. Thanks for posting!
The PVs aren’t going anywhere. Not even a tornado could take them when unistruts are used . My PVs are held together with the unistrut . Great video .
Really nice job my man! This gives me some great ideas on how I want mine to turn out. I'm wanting a ground mount VERY similar to this!

Love it. Been using Unistrut for over a decade can't be beat.

Just an FYI, Unistrut at HD is in the electrical aisle!
Excellent video. Great ideas.

Glad it helped you out 👍.
Great job, very helpful in my own pursuit of a ground mount!
Thank you 👍
Looks great! I was shocked that Ironridge hardware to mount my DIY solar system worked out to $11,000!!
This is fantastic! Thanks for posting.
Awesome, this is exactly what I was looking for! Great job!
Really nice job. Looks great.
Thank you 🙏
I like it. You did a nice job man. I'm in the process myself with similar materials so this gives me ideas.
Thank you for watching.
Beautiful facility 👍🤗
Thank you 🙏
Uni-strut is cool stuff!
Nice job I like it
This helped out a lot. Thank you
Works as well and half the price.
Looks like it would be pretty easy to add hinges so you can adjust it with the seasons.
Nice job

LoL 😂.
You can find different types of unistrut fittings and connectors online which aren't carried by your local home depot store.
Thank you for that information 👍.
Thank you looks grate!

Yes it is 👍

It should work I don't see why it wouldn't if you have to you can extend it out a little further using a flat bracket.
Nice mount. I like it. How did the panels bolt to the unistrut?

how many feet deep is the concrete hole?
Two and a half to 3 ft deep. Some places where there were a lot of Rock I could only get down about two and a half feet deep.
How did you bend the L brackets?
Use a small piece of pipe about 2 ft long and bent the l bracket to the angle that I wanted.
@@carsonlurbanwindandsolar3437 awesome thx
