    I’ve learned more on this older video than these newer videos. Why can’t people just slow down, step by step having the camera in Birds Eye view, and not rush like this video???? Thumbs up Brian.

    Mr.Schreyer your video has been one the most comprehensive that have researched to diagnose a problem with my 48 volts club car or pretty much anything else(which I don't normally do). Thanks for your time. CHEERS.

    Hello. I have an 2001 Club Car 48V DS (non-regen). It currently runs fine however, it starts creeping whenever I move the Forward Reverse switch into either F or R. Does this mean the solenoid is bad and needs replacement? Would there be any other possible causes because I also am unable to lock the brake pedal? Thank you.

    I have 2010 Tomberlin that was really slow the other day (14mph max instead of usual 24mph). I connected the charger, but in the morning the cart was completely dead. Batteries are only 3 month old and when I test them one by one, each and every one reads 8.6V. Tomberlin manual says if any battery is under 9.3V, it should be replaced. Do you think my batteries are faulty and should be replaced or at 8.6V batteries are fine? Thanks

    my club car is 48v and has a round plug for charging, but does not have spade clips on the controller. It is aluminum but has a plug in adapter for most wiring. I tried bypassing the computer and jumping the solenoid but it's not the same. No small yellow wire on the low amp side of the solenoid. And no spade clips on the controller box.
    It's an older Club Car but any tips or ideas for the year and model we have so I can try to figure out why it's not running? Thanks !

    Sounds like battery chatter, since your pack is wired in series, your pack is only as good as the worst battery. Use a regular load tester to find the bad battery and replace with a battery of similar age.

    • @bschreyer1
      @bschreyer1  Před 8 lety

      YOu may want to load test your batteries, you can do this with a standard automotive type load tester. Leave all your batteries hooked up and load test to find the weak batttery.
      Beacuse you batteiy pack is wired in series your pack is only as good as the weakest battery. If you loose power while driving it may be a weak battery. If you loose powere intermetently check your cables nuts. Use a 9/16 or 1/2 inch wrench and tighten each nut - that may be your problem. You should be checking the cable nuts monthly when you do your water check. as they will work loose. BTW - loose cable nuts create an air gap, the air gap creates resitence, resistance creates heat, heat will melt your post and weld your cable to the threaded post as well. so check those cable nuts monthly,
      If you are in rehe mesa area we have load testers available for free for your use, a small deposit is all that is required.

    The video was really helping me diagnose my '99 club car until it switch to a totally different Yamaha cart diagnostics. I wonder if that was intended? I did jumper the low amperage lines to the solenoid as part of the troubleshooting but my cart did not run. It basically barely starts to move and then just goes dead. Anybody have an idea of what to test or what part might be bad? thx.

    I have a club cart that I changed the batteries out an after installing the golf cart takes off fast when you mash the accelerator but breaks it's speed immediately to like half throttle what causes this problem

    When you made the test bypassing the controller, you must have had the rear wheels off the surface, as how could you engage the forward or reverse and have the system drive. Good detail, yet poor graphic as I cannot see the connections to learn the test points.

    where is the reset button for 2007 club car

    So wait - if everything works but the car runs or not intermittently - is it the motor. Solenoid clicks cart surges but may or may not run. Keep putting the pedal down and it will eventually run.

      So you are saying we really don't need to spend that much money to replace the computer and the club car will work fine?

    if your battery voltage is too low, your charger will not kick in. I have only ever seen one bad computer.

      @RobManVids Před 7 lety

      I have a 48 volt club car precedent. It also sparks when I hook the batteries up. I was told by a service tech that was normal. It's better to hook them up with the tow switch in tow mode. It won't spark then
