That entire album is nearly a masterpiece.
This period in rock music was just amazing. New groups dropped, such as Kansas, and known groups released unbelievable albums. Journey, Foreigner, Stix, Bon Jovi, Fleetwood Mac, Pink Floyd, Boston, Bruce Springsteen, Billy Joel, Elton John, and so many others!
It was a great time to be a teenager with a radio!
Kansas was a great band from the 70's. Their musical style is a fusion of hard rock, southern rock & progressive rock. "Carry On Wayward Son" & "Dust In The Wind" are their 2 biggest hits. But they had other good songs such as "Point Of Know Return", "Hold On", "People Of The South Wind", "Play The Game Tonight", "Fight Fire With Fire", "All I Wanted" etc.
Kansas was one of the best concerts I have been to with Head East and Blue Oyster Cult. Thank You
cool lineup. i've seen all three, but not in the same show.
YES!!!!!!!
Such a beautiful song. I still have the album ☮️
This song always takes me back to high school. Love it! So glad you saw the official video to see them actually play.
You were my boy Blue
Back in the day when this was hot for some reason Kansas NEVER played in Nebraska. I lived there so a buddy and I had to go to Red Rocks (Colorado/God's Cathedral). Very well worth the trip and a nice ride on a couple of Harleys with our girls. 600 miles round trip with roughly $1.00 gas
I've seen them since then with the new band members in Reno (former Harrah's outdoor venue) Still killin' it.
I still have this LP./Album.
Carry on Wayward Sun.
Point of Know Return.
"All your money won't another minute buy".
Loved this Kansas version, always have. And your reaction! Check out the book of Ecclesiastes - chap. 1 is a good enough place to start.
Stan: react to Kansas - Magnum Opus
Could you please listen to Burton Cummings. Break it to Them Gently.
Best to sleep
