So nice to hear these positive comments. Customers just "eat up" all the hype about four strokes. The four strokes are so mechanically complex, require frequent oil changes as well, and will never develop the power and torque of most Evinrudes.

Idk if you been out of the woodwork but Etecs are dead. LOL. I’ve owned F series Yamaha for 20+ years and the only time i ever changed oil is annually. Always skipped the 100 hour since it’s a lotta BS. The Vmax SHOs and PRO XS 4 stroke have come so close to the power and torque of the 2 stroke ETECS that it barely makes sense to go with Evinrude….

@@C_H_U_ idk what you talking about my etec isn’t dead works fine not sure what you are on about brp stopped making evenrude motors that’s all cos 2 stroke motors are hard to meet the emission test any ways they are all good motors just look after it and what ever brand you choose to run just look after it and it will look after you

@@dannysoria6143 They are dead. BRP does not make them anymore lmao. Parts are even harder to find than the outboard itself. My uncle is a marine tech and has had numerous of Evinrude and Johnson's come through their shop. They deny them because........ NO PARTS!!!! Stop being in denial because you own one.
