Vitoria, for me, is the unsung gem of the Spanish Basque region. Bilbao has the urban grit and steel (but also a small and delightful Casco Viejo), San Sebastián has the curvaceous lines of the beachfront, but for me, a vastly overrated rest-of-town (essentially one small plaza - Consti - and a couple of streets are worth your time), with most of it being an anonymous, nondescript, apartment-blocky mess. Pamplona (is it *really* Basque?) is lovely, with an extensive and beautiful Casco Viejo cancelling out the drab blight of so many a Spanish city - its bathetic suburbs. But Vitoria. The name alone woos. The city itself backs up the titular promise with a glorious undulating old centre with two of the best plazas in all Spain and web of narrow streets worth a day’s rambling of anyone’s time.
The Casco Viejo in Vitoria-Gasteiz is SO incredibly charming! I made it there in early May and loved it. I only was able to stay one day, but I definitely want to go back.
Spain is truly an awesome place. The Basque country is incredibly beautiful. I always enjoy your videos dudes!
LOL that intro 😂
The Basque country looks amazing! Definitely on my list 😊
+Steve and Jodi's Vlog it's awesome!!
Eskerrikasko! It`s a great job! There are even things I didn´t know, though I´m Baske!
I'm really digging this Basque country series because I can tell how much you guys are loving being back in a place so special to you. It's reminding me of my time spent teaching English in Saxony, Germany :)
Loving your Basque videos. Being from Elko Nevada (which has it's own Basque festival every year), this reminds me of a lot of the Basque dances and foods. Would love to visit the ACTUAL Basque country.
All of the Basque videos have been great, but this one was specially good! Can't wait to see what's coming next
I've been subscribed to your amazing channel for a while and it's incredible how suddenly you just post a video about my city!! I love the way you guys explain our culture and make people want to know more about the Basque Country. Thank you!
Great VIDEO !!! I LIVED in Viktoria as a Teenager, great Memories & had a lot fun growing up there...
Your videos must be showed in geography classes just like how bill nye's videos are shown in science classes. AWESOME work guys!
Thanks for making these videos. Watched them all, and got lots of ideas to help plan a trip. Cheers!
He visto los primeros 30 segundos, y ya tenéis el like jajajajajaja Geniales!
You've done it again. I cannot get over how informative yet professional your videos are. If any corporation out there would like to syndicate these travel videos, you may use me as a reference to the quality of their productions. Thanks again guys. As usual, I thoroughly enjoyed. Cheers..
Thank you for these videos. They are all very beautiful and informative. God bless you guys :)
Moving to the Basque country in September to teach English, cannot wait after watching your videos!!
The skit was so hilarious lol the accents cracked me up.
Same! I like how much fun they seem to be having in these videos 😂
Beautiful place.
Always great!!
The opening scene and the skit had me giggling all the way through. Hilarious!
What a beautiful and incredible place! Also, Marko's haircut rocks!
Thanks for this educational and entertaining video. Greetings from Turkey.
My boyfriend is from Basque and I'm from india
He told me about his motherland before I visited really it's a very beautiful country I must say ..
❤️❤️❤️
Guys! Thank you so much for the awesome filmmaking, and education of this amazing culture.
I have saved all these locations from your vlogs & snapchat from when you were actually there (SnapSquad represent!); I'm going to these places...next week! Got a flight when I saw your Snaps about a month ago. Thank you! p.s. congrats on the bikes
You guys are so funny! i'm loving your videos
Que buenos videos de verdad, me acabo de suscribir apenas hace unas semanas y se han convertido en mis travel vloggers favoritos! Saludos queridos viajeros!
You guys are so funny! 😆 love it!!
Wow Marko REALLY loves food. nice little pot-belly going on, very authentic.
I love your channel
You guys should make a video about teaching English abroad. I'd love to see it.
Such a fun video guys! I appreciate the ending of the vlog because it is a great conclusion about how cultural traditions can remain sacred while fusing them with other traditions. It is remarkable the 'gastronomical reinterpretation of sushi', so thumbs up to that :)
can't believe how green it is!
Only just watched your video as I'm travelling here pretty soon. I love Northern Spain after first coming here in 2000. I dont know if you guys were aware but The Pillars of the Earth was made into a TV series on the BBC starring Ian Macshane as the evil bishop a few years ago.
Awesome, guys!
Amazing
Gora Vitoria/Gasteiz!!!
Please post when you're coming back to the Basque Country! I'd love to meet you guys!
Is mi city . Nice vídeo. 👍🏻👍🏻🙌🙌
Love your videos and insight into the Basque country...however I'm not seeing a link to an app to Travel Basque Country in your info section?? Thank and am looking forward to visiting Basque!!

Salt is GOLD! Yum. May favourite too! :D
Amazing vlog of my city, really loved it!❤ (the explosion of the fried egg must happen inside your mouth!😂)
This is legit!!!
I hope that you are going to come to Zarautz!
Awesome
+Rafael Ribeiro thanks Vagabuddy!!!
I could not stop laughing! Great video!
Great video!
It was serious in the bigging and then you .... well you know what you did. I like a combination of a smart information about city and funny aspect of you. Naked Marco, funny Alex. Love this video, can wait for more country.
God please take me with you on that kind of a trip.
+OldPanterka8 hahaha glad you enjoyed!! Much more on the way!!
One little remark: Vitoria is just (and that's what you read in the law) the host city of Basque institutions. The Basque Country doesn't have an official capital city.
(AlaVa in Spanish, Araba in Basque but definitely not Alaba (that means "daughter" in Basque) lol)
+Iker del Palacio 🙈 Sorry for the slip of the lips!
Don't worry, great videos as usual! Just found the alaba thing funny hehehe!
love the egg joke. it was eggcellent
Amazing intro and outro hahahaha
First of all sorry for my bad Inglish😉.
You are doing a very good work, It is very nice to see that someone is working to show how is The Basque Country and his culture and his history, but only I have to say one thing, when you do scenes like the parody of playing at the cards, It would be better (in my opinion) to say in Basque the words that you said in Spanish.
Thank You!!
Y tu porque hablas en inglés si eres vasco. Jajaja. Vaya bobo . El vasco no lo entiende nadie .😂😀💃🇪🇸
El vasco era la lengua de los pastores, no de los caballeros, comerciantes , funcionarios y militares.
Thank you for putting all of the places you visited below. I follow several travel youtubers and you are the only ones that do it. Maybe you will rub off on them. But don't lose any more coats ;)
What a couple of comedians...
That were I think my family comes from my great grandma and grandpa having 3 Basque last names.
That reenactment reminded me of Jack Sparrow and Barbossa. I couldn't stop laughing! 😹😹😹
yesss assassin's creed! :D i need to go there
I know that this comment are so late, but i searching vids to make a travel to País Vasco and i seeing all ur videos to take a look on some places to visit. The sound you talk about min 3:38 it's a Butaner-Man or we call "Butanero", the horns means that he warns the neighbors to leave empty gas bottles to their home doors, then they pick up the bottles and sell you for new full ones. Nice videos anyways and thanks to share this :D
I think the bloopers help make the vlog serious, there is just something funny about brother rivalry
Vagabrothers
Check out Cantabria!!

Great vid, Cherry on the cake is an English expression ....also, those accents need work :)
No los llevaron a recojer papas estando en Alaba? :c
Gasteiz (Euskal Herria, Europe). Come rain, come shine, at mid-day, midnight, there´s something for everyone in Gasteiz and in Euskal Herria.
That happens all over Spain...There is always something going on...
vengo de victoria-gazteis
That intro tho hahaha
+glad you enjoyed ;)Joyce Ribeiro

Iryna Prokopenko Mazur Hi, how are you! I’m in Vitoria-Gasteiz too, I’m look for a job, if you know something let me know, thanks!!!
So funny
😆😂🤣❤️
I was once changing a flat tire on the side of highway 82, in Alabama, throwing gravel to level it out when i was caught in a skunk's mist. Unbearable, so a fart in a cellar I feel ya
Esque ese huevo no se parte, es mas se come con la boca cerrada 😂😂😂
Omar a
Es Álava no alaba
Alava/Araba👌🏾
Some words about the Sagartoki: workers there have miserable working conditions: their contracts are of 10 or 20 hours per month and then they work 50 or 60 hours per week. They work almost everyday and in shifts of 10 or 12 hours most of the days. The salary is also miserable and then they have to sign a confidentiality document for them not to tell these things. I friend of mine worked there and I am telling this because he legally cannot. It is outrageous. I no longer go eat there. Senen does not deserve the success he has. No one should treat their workers that way.
Did Alex vomit on his t-shirt? I maybe i see it in a wrong way. that is gross. I hope you visit Lelystad :) keep doing it you are great.
+OldPanterka8 No it was the egg roll exploding when we tried to cut it!
How about a “thumbs down”? The trouble with videos like this is that this is 1) Mostly kids showing off with quick cuts, “clever” remarks and drone bullshit and 2) I didn’t see much about the actual town of Vitoria - - mostly just a couple kids acting out trying to be funny with those silly ass sticks they hold their phones on. Rick Steves - - where are you?
Is the capital of de Basque Country. Álava only no
You showed almost nothing of the city, too much goofing around.
The first guy: too exagerrated and I can’t stand narcissists. Thumbs down.
One of your best vlogs ever, but why was the bad guy in your skit an Englishman? I am Welsh so have a love/love/hate relationship with my English cousins, but surely the Spanish have demonstrated in their colonial past a brutal repression of freedom in indigenous natives.
