Chris Webber was one of the greatest, yet most overlooked power forwards of all time.
In his prime, he was just as good as any superstar in the NBA.
Unfortunately, his NBA career did not end as well as he hoped.
In 2002 the Sacramento Kings had one of the most well balanced teams of all time.
Led by Chris Webber, Peja Stojakovic, Mike Bibby, Vlade Divac and Doug Christie the Kings had the best record in the entire league.
If not for some questionable officiating in the 2002 Western Conference Finals against the Lakers the Kings may have won their first NBA championship.

I would like to salute Chris Webber for putting his pride/ego to the side and coming to play for the Sacramento Kings. Those was good years in my 20s living here in Sacramento when Chris Webber, Jason Williams, Mike Bibby, Bobby Jackson, Doug Christie and I can keep going on with the list of outstanding players on that roster at the time, we should have been able to have the privilege to play for the championship ring , but because of big city little city they didn’t want to see my Sacramento Kings win the championship ring that year because we would have whooped the nets easily, but I guess the power at B wanted the bigger city of California to have the spotlight.

He had that knee injury and it cut his career a little short, but man was he a beast. One of his favorite players was Magic and you can see it in his game. He has a lot of Magic in his style and ability to pass and lead a break. If Cwebb played today he would be a center and I'm sure worked on the outside game a little more, but either way he would be DOMINANT as a center today. MVP caliber and up there with Joker and Embid easily.

Hold up they asked C Webb about playing today and I couldn't help but think of him on GSW team with Steph and Dray, and Klay Wow!

He should have stayed at Golden State.

The power forward position is hard to rank. How much do you put in championships, overall impact on both ends. Points, rebounds, blocks.
Duncan, Malone, Barkley, Green, Kg, Dirk, Webb, Worthy, McKale, Pettit, Hayes, Wallace.

Cwebb was as good as Duncan and KG prior to his knee injury. Kings might have gotten 1 title had he not gotten hurt they had a great team

Under appreciated and under rated. C Webb was the truth…way better than Sheed. Sorry

I always thought about if him and Duncan switched roles and Webber played for the Spurs instead…. I think he would’ve been looked at as a better all around player than Timmy in my humble opinion

CWebb! could play in any Era.. A Big Man with Guard Skillz and could still Post Up & Rebound. A real Student of the Game and Life. Respect🫡💯
