Man Rust used to balance PVE and PVP well.
It's a shame PVP had been inflated into oblivion, its fun and all but it kinda looses the weight.
Lmao when did they ever do that? They had like, shitty rad animals in legacy and that was about it. If anything the PvE has only gotten better over the years.
RUST legacy was the bomb
I'm an avid PVE player, they are for sure a nice environment for those that don't want to play PVP or want a little bit of a break.
The current server I'm on has a lot of the new plugins that are out and released, ie: power grid, waterbikes, cooking 2.0, etc.
Happy to share client connect if anyone wants to come give it a go! We have some AMAZING NPC bases to raid, our nightmares take about 3-4 hours as a solo to raid.

A lot of PvE servers have extra NPCs to allow an aspect of PvP, but don’t allow player on player combat, it makes a decent middle ground of not getting shot in the face with a double barrel as soon as you wake up on the beach, and having some fun with the weapons.

This isn’t true PvE, looting that player at the start wouldn’t be allowed! 😢
Yes it is if a player dies there loot is notable if thier sleeping then no bc you cant kill players but of they died by a bear or pig then you can loot em its the same on ark pve if someone dies to a dinosaur or starvation you can loot them but if there alive/sleeping you cant loot them
And it also depends on the server sum servers have a third party plugin on their servers that doesnt allow looting dead bodies but not every server has said plugin
PVE where you can take others loot isnt true PVE :D

I have a challenge for you: Make yourself a 2 by 2 base with a cloth farm, no bps researched and just one door on a PVE server. Then keep one day's worth of TC upkeep and replace the door with a vending machine. You have to literally farm and sell to progress. Your goal is to research all the bps with scrap that you buy. You cannot use workbenches. You must buy the item and the scrap and then research it. You can buy something and then sell it to someone else at higher price. You cannot leave once the vending machine is placed and you must despawn all your loot except what needed to farm right after you placed the vending machine.

@@huntermiller7402 i doht know, i did it on a 100 pop server with a 2.5 km map on xbox. Its easier when theres a lot of players on and the key to not get raided is making the prices cheap enough an have a strong but small base.
My base was a 2 by 2 honeycomed full metal base and i had a hallway at the door leading to vending machine so if raiders wanted to go to raid my shop from the doors they'd be going away from the core.

First thing i tried buying once i got enough scrap was armored single door, get this early and no one wil want to raid your base or shop.
@@huntermiller7402 The higher the pop the better since it will bring in more business. I did it on a pvp server cause xbox doesnt have pve servers but you can do it on pve if you wish
