The psychos: These guys usually play killers such as Freddy, Clown, and Doctor because they are some of the more evil charaters in the game, as well as being thought of as "unfun to go against" by the survivors. These killers will do things like let the last survivor take hatch and then close it at the last minute, hit people on the hook for no reason, and leave survivors to die on the ground even if it does not benefit them at all. They are not trying to be toxic and are not angry at the survivors, they just think it is funny to torture people and make them miserable. (there are also survivor psychos as well which dont care about their team at all and only want to annoy the killer, they dont care if they die, they just want to make the killer as miserable as possible)

That's literally me... With the only difference being... I don't close hatch last minute and I don't hit people on hook at all... and I don't leave anybody to die on the ground even though I did that like 3 matches ago where I was Freddy on Haddonfield... But I couldn't find the last person because they were downed and I didn't find them at all... They also didn't take hatch.
This is unironically my legion playstyle.
I'd say those who play Freddy are just masochists, because if Freddy didn't get 3gen in the end, he will lose. At least in my experience it's been like that... and last time, when survivors gave him 3gen, he just camped them for like 20 minutes and never committed to chase. As a result, I got higher score dying than killer that got 4k :/

Im an absolute memer, Breakout builds with mettle of man, Ace in the hole + plunderers instinct, Houdini build, Fake locker builds and pebbles + Red herring and more are something I can't live without for one day

Although this does relate to totems, the Booners: they will put all four boons, and if the killer destroys their boon, they will still boon the exact same totem just to hear the sound and have the blue hue around their screen.
This is my friend. He barely does gens. He will save, but his whole life is about the boons.
You forgot one more: the treasure hunters
These guys will seek out chests and loot its contents and do nothing else. A lot of the time they waste items by setting them down somewhere and going to another chest. These players are also frequent victims of the Evil Basement Bubba
I once went against two twitch streamers as Nemesis. They had everything stacked against me. Boil Over. Flashlights. Sabo Toolboxes.
That didn't stop me however, for I managed to get a 4K. Afterwards I found their channels and left a friendly comment in their chats. Surprisingly, they were friendly back.

As a totem breaker, I can say that you are one hundred percent correct on that assertion. We love to break totems! For some raisin, the sound of the totems breaking apart is very satisfying.

As a bloodluster instilling the fear of being stunned is more than enough to stall killers. And watching them mindgaming themselves for 10 seconds around a 50/50 while I w key to the next tile is *chefs kiss*

2:46 Had a game where I ran a Myers for 4 entire gens (after recent update so you know it was a _while_) and he ignored every single gen to keep chasing me. Solo queue teammates left me to get to second hook state and he still tunneled me off the hook after that lol good times
This was me with a Nurse. Chased me the whole game. I ran past people on gens and she did not care. (These were friends, so I warned them.) She eventually got me down with NOED. My friend unhooked me with BT and the others tried to take hits, but she would not hit them.
As killer, if I see survivors let a teammate go to 2nd hook state, I kill them all and let that person live.

I once had a soloist meg in my team who literally could have come pick me up from the ground instead of leaving after staring at me for 30 seconds and she knew the killer was not anywhere near me or her. Bozo was camping the gate and didn't give shit in endgame chat

Honestly there are two kinds of memers: the ones who do fun stuff like head on and flashbang combo, and then thereâs us who use Self Care and No Mither

You forgot the farmer rescues you off the hook without BT in the killers face, the killer downs you, and if you don't have DS you will get second stage
As trapper putting traps right where a survivor would vault grants you a free kill, so when I play trap I usually leave down pallets.
Yesterday I put one on a pallet that was down, a survivor undid my trap, I came over and re did it in front of him, circled around to get him and then he vaulted into the trap he literally saw me fix.

I'm a mix of what you call out in both videos. I've been a soloist, especially when there are 3+ gens to pop and 2 team members are dead or I've already been hooked twice. I'm currently the totem hunter as Mikaela to make the boon healing totems. I've snatched people off of hooks right away, but I wasn't thinking about the points; I was just trying to keep people in the game.

Just started playing dbd and Iâm just the ditzy beginner who runs into the killer half the time haha. I always pay attention to my teammates and I wonât exit the game until Iâve done everything I can do!
Me and my team mates are this smart that we don't kill ourselves on hook so we always get out 3 of us
I am the one that has the fetish for totems. And I am not afraid to admit it. I am the booner variety and will look at my survivor colleagues with utter disappointment, when I see them cleanse a totem. YOU ARE THE REASON WE CAN'T HAVE ANYTHING NICE!

I feel slightly called out @ #3. Pre-boon I loved totem hunting. It was my favorite secondary objective in the game.

Tbh i think people give swfs too much credit a lot of the time. Just because people are playing together doesn't mean that they're going to be gods at the game
I was playing in a SWF with a streamer friend: it was me (Russian), him (Norwegian) and two Australians. The Australian girl was newer at the game and completely shit-faced drunk, the Australian guy was newer and let go on hook against a Hag because her traps genuinely jumpscared him, my already slow and uncoordinated lightweight ass was drinking beer and getting horny over beefy male killers. My Norwegian streamer friend was the only one among us who was both competent and sober. Were we an efficient SWF? Oh hell no. Did we have a blast while being an absolute trainwreck? Hell yes, most fun I'd had in a while.
(Except the Australian girl had to go to the hospital afterwards because of how much she had drunk - but she's okay, albeit sober since then).
Another time someone in that guy's chat said that they'd donate if he could ensure my escape for once, since I was consistently either getting tunneled out of the game first or letting the killer get me because I felt bad for them getting 0K. So it turned into a Norwegian, a German and a Mexican working together to ensure my escape. I am happy to say that they eventually succeeded đ

Placing boon gives +1500 boldness, so yeah, from farming BP perspective it is worth.
The anti cross play: worse than a farmer will spam the unhook on a person who isn't on their platform instead of trying to save them or let them die on hook, generally works with the killer because they think it's funny.
Totem Hunter here. I use Detectives Hunch so I have a need to do Gens in order to find them easier lmao. I don't know why either, I just love rattling those bones.

Dude amazing video first! I am a memer in the game, I love trolling killers a lot, and I am also a saver, basically I am helping people, braking hocks and help with gen rush. If need I protect the other player form a hit and encourage the killer to follow me. It worked. My build is: Any Means Necessary, Blast-mine, flash bang and Saboteur. The Load out is Flashlight with battery and focus Lents..

Don't forget the basement dwellers just love hiding in basement for that sweet loot or good hide spot which also consist of bubas or megs. Then you got the veterans running full game builds where they use perks for ever category. As well as subjective players that use the strange perks that people forgot about like autodidact
I am the genrusher. I mostly use toolboxes. And you monstly see me on a gen, but if I got found I will get downed fast, cuz I suck at looping
I've literally only seen two twitch streamers who were actually live when I played. It's a fair tactic to leave someone on hook depending if the killer is camping, distance from hook, gates open etc.. I've told people to leave me in SWF because of one of these. Because going in to get someone in late game can mean the killer can get 2 or 3 kills instead of just one, I've seen it happen plenty of times.
im a soloist but i die so oft for my team, i dont get out when it gives a chance to rescue my teammates :)... i think im a little part of good team players as soloist ;)
last time i god randomly put against ttv, i was killer and there was 3 of them and the only survivor who escaped was the random.

I always challenge the killer to come after me so that my team mates can do their gens in peace. And most killers have Bloodlust so obv they won't break it.

I'm just memer that loves basement camping with insideous with bubba or I'm sometimes a physco by touching survivors with my pyramid head
The problem with the distain of soloists. 50% of games are thrown when survivors wanna save everyone. It's honestly better to just leave. (There's nothing wrong with 3:1 ratio) I left after someone unhooked me in the endgame collapse, had adrenaline so I was long gone. The other 3 survivors died. Yes, there's a chance we all can escape but if you actually play the game, it's like 25% of the time you'll get lucky. Wish survivors weren't greedy pigs.
I know someone will type or think it but shut up, "escaping by myself is being greedy in itself". Solid argument. But I'd rather rank up than risk it all to a 25% chance.
in fact what U showed in memers are most useful team-mates, because they will try to head on killer when he's chasing someone, try to head on or flashbang save when killer picks up survivor (based on situation of course).
I am running flashbang and head on for quite a while.. and to tell the truth i'm better at timing flashbangs than timing flashlight... and it's really annoying when those randoms know U have head on, because U stunned killer already once or twice, and yet when they are downed, they won't crawl to the locker and stay in same spot while killer just walks around not too far from downed survivor but doesn't chase anyone for real, so it's obvious that he will pick up and won't let anyone come close enough to heal that downed survivor to 100%... why bother crawling to locker, right? let's just get hooked somewhere.

I honestly don't understand why unhooking someone in front of the killer is called "farming"
You get MORE bloodpoints if you get a SAFE unhook. If you unhook infront of the killer, you will often go down, and you won't get as many bloodpoints that way. This has always irked me. It's farming if you die immediately after getting an unhook lmfao. Besides, you get more bloodpoints doing literally anything else. Cleansing totems, repairing generators, opening chests, getting chased, surviving the match, healing survivors.
Im the suport. I run healer or unhook builds. For healer its COH + Botany Knowlage + We will make it + Despare measures. And for unhook Guardian + BT + No one is left behind + Desparate Measures.
