For the people who don't know, you dont have to go to the marked forest when during the crossbow quest, you just have to farm the 2k wood, it doesn't matter where you farm it

found this out 2 months ago i was like “bro r u serious” like the many times i’ve died to ppl just camping that forest.
I was pretty sure you atleast had to go there once for it to mark "go to the marked forest" as done..

when you know enough about how games are made, it is kinda obvious that they cant/didn't add specific triggers to any trees, so it makes sense that the marked location is just a random location in a "woody area" and that the wood you collect is literally just a counter
not trying to brag or anything, but it's how you code games
it would be a lot of basically useless development effort doing it any other way
It's good to know that even a veteran player as yourself still feels the anxiety of making such plays and then the nervousness of carrying so much shit
Solo fresh wipe content is the most interesting type of video for me. I'd love to see you do this more as it's quite satisfying to see how you fare in the arms race by yourself. Great video, I loved it

You dont need to go at the mark of the mission to collect the wood , i ve never went to the mark but collected the wood instead anywhere i could find wood and it never was a probleme .
