- Lethal Company solo is perhaps one of the most punishing, scary, and depressing experiences in video games. Lethal Company is designed around the multiplayer dynamic, so this shouldn't come as a surprise. Dive into the bleak halls with me as I struggle for that quota.

Quick fix: Despite knowing Titan costs 700 credits, I mispoke and stated Titan costs 750 credits. I'm gonna give up on numbers lol. Thanks for watching!
Additionally despite what I've come to learn, the Baboon Hawk does not react to voices from crewmates. I still recommend a healthy dose of trash talk for survival, though.
Lol, it's at least getting your sanity back from screeming at Baboon Hawks and all that time playing solo
Just so you know in solo you can look at the bracken for as long as possible in less backed up into a corner.
This is good to know, thanks! @@Khaos_17
I wouldn't be surprised if Zeekerss added that as a mechanic to the Baboon Hawks just for how popular of a theory it was.
And how funny that would interact with Eyeless Dogs.
you can keep smaller stuff when you die when you put it in the red cabinet so you can keep a little bit from when you die it also works with teams
The comedic, almost absurd atmosphere of multiplayer Lethal Company completely disappears when playing solo. Every risk you might not think about normally becomes potentially run-ending by yourself. It's actually impressive how different the experience is. With a few mods, solo can be really fun if you want to up the intensity from multiplayer.
Its an experience tilted towards horror and even survival. I love it!
honestly when I play solo, I play with minimap mod, because I get lost easily
@@NoF...ckingName I roll with the glowing footsteps mod. My sense of direction is such ass.
What's interesting is that, in a vacuum, all the emote and cosmetic mods are only really fluff. Despite that, they're all creature comforts that I enjoy when playing solo, particularly the Duke Nukem playermodel replacement mod that I so enjoy using without fail. Something about the unbridled, panty-melting energy of Duke Nukem makes runs less stressful.
@NoF...ckingName part of the fun and fear is getting lost. There are strategies you can use to keep track of where you are, such as hugging the left side when in a maze. Using mods like that take away the problem solving of it imo, just as bad as using the reserve slot mods.
But that's just what I personally enjoy, you do you ofc.
Nothing is as sad as playing solo and looking at the 4 large items at the door, knowing you have to go back and forth for minutes.
you can juggle the items, takes a bit but much faster than going back and forth

Fun fact about the babboon hogs: screaming and shouting does NOT work
it's nowhere in the code that it would intimidate them, looking at them does
but again, chase them for too long and they will attack you anyway
Thanks for the information, I'm not believing the wiki ever again, it's been wrong too much lmao. I'm still gonna shout at them anyway 😂
The strat for Babboon Hawks is to quite literally, just ignore them. Don't look their way, don't make eye contact. Just go about your business. Always works. Unless there's 2 of them and you're alone. Heh.
@@Nikos. Yeah the wiki is full of uncertainties like myths around the Brackenroom and such
@@sirlimpsalot0-010 no you want to look at them, they wont be aggressive if you are looking at them.
@@sirlimpsalot0-010Honestly look at them if you want, just go about your business as usual and they will literally do nothing.
Still think the hardest I’ve ever laughed playing this game was actually in a solo run. I spawned in, ran to a fire exit, entered, heard a beep and click and looked down to see a landmine, not that big of a deal, I can just turn around without moving… the beep was a turret, I did not realize.
That’s the wombo combo 😂
@@Nikos. HAPPY FEEET, WOMBO COMBO! THAT AIN'T FALC... OOOOOOOOH OOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHH OOOOOOOOOOH!!!
Lethal company becomes a true horror game the instant that you realize you went way too far into the facility without a partner or when you realize everyone else is dead and it’s just you.
Horror (when your friends are dead), because you might realize everyone is spectating you and judging the hell out of your gameplay. Never has the beam jump been as unnerving as when you know if you don't nail that sh*t all your friends will laugh at you till the grave.
@@MinisynapseLmaaaoo this sums up my whole Lethal Company experience
One thing that's interesting to me is that while going in deliberately solo is, as you said, frustrating and kinda often not worth it, there's something to be said about a multiplayer game *becoming* solo. Which I know is a bit outside the scope of the video, but it is something worth discussing.
Having your buddy, who was holding the walkie, suddenly and mysteriously die while you weren't looking changes the atmosphere *instantly*. Going from laughing and goofing to suddenly being alone, in the dark, and terrified. Having the person on the ship suddenly go dark leaving you wondering "Did something get them or are they being quiet because dogs?" while you're navigating the facility really takes the oppressive and lonely atmosphere you described and amps it up by directly contrasting it with the often bombastic multiplayer.
Another buff for solo is certain enemies (like Snare Flea) are easier to deal with. Brackens can be stared at for much longer before they aggro. Eyeless dogs will no longer be around or near the ship because of a clueless friend who won’t stop talking because you have none! Jester is actually a lot easier to deal with in solo since as soon as you leave you know you just have to wait a couple of seconds to head back in, as you don’t need to wait for any teammates.
By contrast, the ghost girl sucks so much harder because she pretty much ends runs the moment she spawns. And when you're late level and stuck with looting titan only for one of your days to have the moon go stormy or eclipsed, prepare for hell.
@@mgh7634 If you drop everything, have enough stamina and also have enough hallway, you can outrun her chasing you until she despawns for a bit
There are some enemies that are inadvertently easier, but some that are inadvertently harder. Coil-Heads are completely brutal in solos. Granted, they are completely brutal anyways, but they will only aggro onto you, and they can only be stopped by you.
If we're still talking about how hard or easy enemies are in solo, the underground worms are a run killer, like the ghost girl.I mean they are already hard to dodge but now if you don't dodge, your progress is lost.
@@ianalex9062 honestly, I treat coilheads as a cut my losses situation and leave because they are easy peasy if it's just a coilhead and one or maybe two other things but the issue is when there's too much to deal with while still needing to look at it
I have a side save meant for only solo play and it is terrifying. I just did my first 3 day solo Titan run a few days ago, finding a Mimic while solo is a different type of experience because you know you came alone... 800 quota in but taking my time with it and aiming for 2k+.
You got this, gl getting to 2k!
Appreciate you! Love the content!!@@Nikos.
Thanks! @@Footballer007-lz8pg
Did that 2k quota ever happen?
@@starryie9859 Just saw this! Yes it did! I reached 2.4k before failing to make it period. My group's personal best is just short of 5k
Another benefit of playing solo is that you don't have to worry about how often you snap your camera around.
Normally, with multiple people, whoever has the most camera movement is most likely to have the "Most Paranoid" note. This note increases your chance of being haunted by the Ghost Girl.
Since you are playing solo, there is no point in lowering your camera movement as you are already going to be the most paranoid, which means you can feel free to sporadically look around as a counter against Brackens. :)
This is true, though as the only player the ghost girl will target you if she spawns
@@Nikos. Exactly why there's no point in worrying about the Most Paranoid note. Though despite this, Brackens still make me shit myself in solo.
I always go for most paranoid. It’s a good way to play safely, and also I just like having something I can achieve while still being too effective for the bad awards and too bad for the good awards.
I always tend to get this as I'm the type who's always looking for that fuckin turret in the corner that might game-end me at a 90 degree angle. One too many times, damn it
@@sh1ftyy Speaking of, Brackens are way easier to deal with solo than in groups, because another player could cause it to aggro by looking at it another time or being in it's path of retreat. They're one of the easiest things to deal with, in fact.
Some correction :
Baboon hawk : Think there's a youtuber that goes by the name Wurps who actually test this and the result is that the baboon hawk doesn't actually get scared by your voice, staring is enough to intimidate it(if it's alone)
Coil head : Coil head CAN open doors, it just takes around 10 second to open one (or just run through it without opening the door in most case)
And here are some of my tips :
#1 : If you're playing on mansion map (Rend and Dine) bookshelfs are high enough for you to use it to escape from most enemy
#2 : Ghost girl need some space to spawn behind you, so if you're haunted the safest play is having your back against the wall as much as possible to give yourself more time (since you're playing solo you'll eventually have to expose your back, this method only buy you more time)
#3 : While no tool build gives you more invntory space, I still recommend getting atleast 1 stun grenade and 1 key on the first trip from your ship and lave the stun grenade outside, this is to make sure that atleast you can survive against forest giant on your trip back to the ship
#4 : Earth Leviathan (the giant worm) can kill forest giant, so if you're that guy your girl told you not to worry about, you can lure the worm to kill forest giant
Appreciate the tips! I’ve offered the baboon hawk correction in the top comment
I found out in a solo run on an eclipsed planet, earth leviathans can also kill any dogs in it’s area.
some tricks to dealing with turrets cause they are the most dangerous enemy 100%
1. always be ready for the turret beside the entrance. on fire exits you gotta get used to turning around straight away
2. turrets turn left and right so its easy enough to run past them most of the time without being spotted.
3. you can lose a turret by running behind it (if theres space)
4. smacking a turret makes it spin slowly in circles while firing bullets. you can't kill anything with the bullets but just maybe it'll save you one day if you need to lock its trajectory in a predictable path
5. never use your stamina up in the building, good for surprise monster attacks and running to cover from turrets
6. seems obvious but if you're surprised don't stop to look at it lol. instead follow number 5.
additionally turrets can continue to shoot at you through a door if they had already started to shoot when you get behind one so just don't use a door to break line of sight. has to be a solid wall, even pipes on the facility maps
you can jump ONTOP of turrets to stop them from shooting you
if there is space, if the roof is low you die
You can also block the bullets with a ladder but you have to put the box right in front of the ladder
I think another reason why the solo experience is so different is because we have seen all the videos online with hilarious moments, that it doesn't feel right without pals.
Another cool thing is that brackens dont seem to get angry when you look at them too long. Although that doesn't help too much, since its an ambush predator.
But its something for solo people
it does actually, it's usually withi a 4-8 second timespan i think
14:13 coil-heads can actually open doors, they just take a fat while to do it (20-40 secs)
makes sense that they'd take so long, since they have those stubby arms with no hands
@@wr3nche5and because their movement is just a game for them. They can just move even while you are looking at them but they just decide to not as evidenced by how if they haven’t seen you they move. Them not opening the door may be part of the toying.
@@Luksed12 he said unlocked
I love playing solo makes it feel like a true survival horror game. That being said if I get the chance to play with friends I take it 100%
a solo run is a lot like doom, the faster you go the less enemies to face and you should always keep moving.
I agree with so much of this, goddamn
Brackens are the one thing I dread the most about playing solo because they're so damn quiet + you don't have that security blanket of others being there to potentially catch it for you, so you've gotta keep a more active eye out and just live with it getting painfully close to you on a not-uncommon basis
I don't personally find solo in itself boring though, if anything I've gotten bored lately of just, running the first 5 moons over and over for the early-game quotas even with others around
They aren't bad moons by any means, Experimentation is fine by me despite being the "get your feet wet" moon but they don't give me nearly as much of a thrill (read: existential, paralysis-inducing dread) as the mansions of Rend and Dine nor Titan's sheer chaos anymore
Each of the moons are great in this game, but on solo they get very repetitive. Titan and the later moons are very thrilling for sure!
5:57 bro became a wolf
for vanilla lethal company, this video is great, and i will be using a lot of the tips in it. however, another alternative is single player friendly mods such as ones that give you more item slots and maybe a mod that only takes a portion of scrap upon death. i haven’t found a mod that works for saving scrap yet but i’ve heard they can be very good if you can get them to work. there are tons of mods for this game and it is (usually) very easy to mod this game.
A mod called Lethal Company Enhancer has a good handful of configurable options designed for solo or smaller group play. Specifically for saving your scrap, I like the option of losing about half of it for dying, that and making the time you have about 20% or 1.2 times longer.
@@Korhi i also tried this one but i couldn’t get it to work as well, but luckily in the time before you replied to this i did find a working mod along with a bunch of others that make the experience more unique
Theres also a mod that allows you to change game variables like how much scrap spawns and how many enemies spawn, aswell as item limit in the ship, how fast qouta rises, starting money, etc. So that could be useful too for like a practice run or something
I use save our loot for saving a little scrap. It's still rough (I've definitely failed quota by dying a couple times) but not guaranteed to end runs. I also caved and upped the slot count to 6 finally. Still not nearly as many slots as a team effort but a great improvement.
I've been modding this game to death trying to make solo fun to play. Everything from lethal things to various enemy nerfs. At the very least if you're solo I recommend a scrap saving mod, something for inventory space and a tool for turrets/mines/doors.
Solo on rend is a whole different experience, with a few QoL mods along with ambient mods, having a bracken snapping my neck made me audibly gasp like a horror movie protagonist, game is great
11:44 The rock version of the Halo theme was a great addition 😂😂😂
Another thing that changes with Singleplayer is that the Brackens appear to be less hostile when staring them down. Usually when i play solo, the Brackens never attack no matter how long i stare at them. Also you can reduce a lot of the unintended difficulty spikes through mods, making the game at least a little less punishing for having no friends, like bigger inventory, only loosing 50% of the scrap on your ship upon death, more time per day (for more trips back and forth since you have to carry everything by yourself), more stamina / less slow down due to weight and stuff like that.
I keep wanting to try solo but it feels like such a depressing experience that I just decide not to
It's worth a try, definitely a memorable experience
@@Nikos. Maybe when I’m really bored and I don’t have anything better to do that day
@@Nikos.Okay after playing a solo game with some ambient sound mods, I can definitely feel the horror tension now
It reminds me when im plaing Halo CE all alone at Installation 006 with the flood lurking around. It was always nice having 'A walk in the woods' plays, making the player relax from time to time.
Definitely good tips for solo. Just finished my iron quota challenge which is an easier variance of the iron man challenge. Iron quota means you have to stay on each moon for all three days regardless of weather conditions and only after you meet the quota are you allowed to progress to the next moon. Ended up with 6 eclipses in my first run.
Such a well done video, and true to my experience with Solo. Love the way you describe and narrate.
Before convincing my friends and making my internet connection better, i sometimes played singleplayer and that shi was so unnerving and scary bcs of the loneliness
The baboon hawk buff and addition of Old Birds in v50 makes solo play even harder, true misery
A good tip to mention is to not sell all your scrap at once. If you sell as little as possible to meet the quota, you'll have some left over to help pay up the next one.
Solo Lethal seems like a good challenge for like a Couch Party sorta thing. Every person gets one shot at a different qouta. You get through all your buddies, you win. One person dies and it's over.
Coil heads can actually open doors, but I still shut doors so I know if there is something behind me when it opens.
ngl when playing Solo mods are essential to making it more fun
As a newer solo player I myself have a deep primal fear of the bracken playing solo. I dont have anyone to look over my shoulders when I forget to do so, in solo lethal you cannot let your guard down but this also hinders you making you be less risky and way too cautious and inside facility is way more eerie then outside
even with friends the braken gives me the 1000 quota stare lol,
Playing solo is like training in the gravity room for when you and your friends are ready to face the androids
4:13 so from what I understand only eyless dogs can detect your mic
The music choices in this video are immaculate
Thanks I try my hardest
Fr, there’s no better choice for a video about an unsettling solo game than Aria Math.
A head on a swivel is a head attached to a body is such a hard line
Had the most insane run yesterday. I inverted tp into an eclipsed Titan only for my friend to break immersion and inform me that a massacre had occurred in the ship and that our run was likely over. I was just running hog in the maze, encountered a Jester and made a fire exit just as the Jester started to gain speed. My friends activated the early depart and I sat on top of the ship, shit scared as a giant circulated the ship while dogs walked under it. I barely made it out and miraculously, the loot I picked up from the inverse run was enough to just make our quota.
First time I played Lethal Company solo I was using the VR mod :> FearWasSuffocatingMeAroundEveryCorner
I played solo the other night to practice and learn the maps and oh man, going out at night was the absolute worst.
When I am having a sick day on a Tuesday afternoon and he mentions "Unemployed on a Tuesday afternoon" I somehow felt attacked despite having a job.
No joke I'm sick today as well, what poor timing
With how much extra cash you'll get when you only need to supply one player, I'm partial to bringing at least a flashlight and stun grenade, but being fully prepared to leave it behind immediately if gear presents itself. As long as you don't die, you'll have more credits than you can spend anyway!
Besides, having a weapon to deal with Masked is invaluable, since avoiding them while carrying loot is impossible
I bought a goldfish in my single player to have at least some company
I've managed a 2.7k ish solo run and my only tip is that speed is of the essence. Rush that jetpack and rend/titan fees, get enough shovels to dump one each day. If you can rush the jetpack and master it, you can easily boost your average up from ~210 to ~360 on rend and titan. Focus on shallow breath-wise exploration and prioritize single handed loot.
I like to use items as checkpoints to both reduce weight and lead me back to the exits.
Once you have a full inventory and if things aren't too hot on the moon yet, leave a trail of items and go deeper. You should be able to get 3~4 trips back and fourth to the ship per day.
I actually played it solo the first few times I played, and it was genuinely terrifying and I honest to god had no idea why I even tried it solo first. Playing multiplayer was like running through the woods while being chased, finding a bunker, and finding all of your friends inside with a nice hot cup of cocoa. (Also, nice Half Life music choice)
NO FRIENDS! NO TOOLS! NO FEAR!
As someone who plays exclusively solo, I feel your pain and thanks for the helpful tips.
I've tried playing this solo, as my friends didn't seem that interested in the game after a run or 2. But goddamn does the horror factor skyrocket. I just can't play this game on my own. Kudos to you for pushing through, that takes some serious balls..
Late on this comment but bringing a pro flashlight in solos will help prevent hauntings or at the very least will give you more time before they occur. You could always drop it outside the facility if you need to loot.
Speaking of looting, staying around the entrances (especially on the endgame moons) and looting is far better than over exploring. That is of course unless you get really bad RNG on loot drops.
I really like playing with friends and our favorite thing to do is just blitzkrieg in grab 4 items and sprint back before too much shit spawns, and sometimes I forget when I’m playing solo that I do not have the luxury of using a teammate as a meat shield with a sentry…
I definitely enjoy the challenge of solo... The ceiling of what is theoretically possible is actually quite high. My current quota record is 1417/2368 @ 212.8 scrap value per day. I played really safe on that run, mostly went to Assurance, with a few trips to Rend near the end as a little extra push. I think it would be possible to eclipse 400+ scrap per day if you were to start going to Rend on the second quota, though you really have to balance the risk vs. reward of trying to find loot and carry it back later in the day.
9:19 that has actually been debunked, all enemys except blind dogs are completely deaf (i was pretty shocked aswell when i found that out believe me) baboon hawks react not to shouting but just by you looking at them, though the fact many of the enemys were believed to be able to hear you just shows how damn good the AI is in this game is so huge respect to zeekers on that
This comment has also been proved irrelevant, hoarding bugs go back to their nest when they hear players walking or talking.
@@shloinguslover68yep found out about that in the same vid you prolly watched like one or 2 days ago

I think the developer made the solo experience as a: Here. It works; however, I am going to focus on balancing and tweaking the multiplayer experience.
There is nothing wrong with this. I assume Lethal Company was built with multiplayer in mind, not singleplayer. I think the following needs to tweak to not make it super punishing for those wanting to play alone:
Make divide Quota requirement by 4.
Make passage of time slightly slower to account for how more cautious players need to be.
Tweak monster AIs that are designed to be handled by more than one person like the flea and springy boys.
Slightly increase carry weight max and maybe increase item slots by 1.
Have solo-only equipment designed for single-player but never port to multiplayer as they would probably be OP. Like a special goggles that warns you of potential threats but only specifies vague things about the threat that still makes it unknown to the player costing a lot to acquire, though. Or, a "sonic" shotgun that can only be used once can kill anything in one-hit; however, it makes all enemies immediately aggro and dazing you. Why that? Because it would be the ultimate double-edged sword, metaphorically, in Lethal Company.
Add a goddamn pause functionality. I always found it unacceptable when games have an online option and will forbid pausing the game when offline. I am looking at you FromSoftware.
im glad i watched this, my free time never lines up with anyone i could call a friend and i would just be frustrated
solo might be hard but when you carry one flashlight and dropping it at the end so you can carry all of the valuable loot is a great strategy too
I often find myself playing solo company when playing multiplayer, usually because I'm the last alive. This game masters sucking the "fun" out the experience by slowly isolating you, but it does get cruel if you stay solo the entire run. I agree with everything you mentioned about how the games tone shifts when you suddenly don't have your buddies working with you. You don't feel like "Alright we have a contigency plan in case we start getting picked off, I wonder who will die first", you just feel like your taking increasingly worse and worse bets with your chance at getting more scrap.

Lethal Company is pretty dam terrifying when your alone, it feels like a whole different game when it's just you
i played solo and it was genuinely one of the most terrifying experience ive ever had in a video game
I downloaded a mod that allows you to keep some loot on the ship when you die and give you an extra slot for flashlight and a weapon. I think it balances it out, and I’ve made a quota of 500-600 solo before.
I did not make the 700 quota, I got bumfucked by a coil-head, snare flea, and bracken on my way out of Rend. Then an eyeless dog got me. I’m happy I made it out of the facility alive
Nice, what's the mod called?

Yelling to baboons is a myth. You just need to walk towards them and dont turn your back to them. They will attack you if theres 3 baboons. And you still can beat all shit out of them, theyre easy. But its not recommended cus theyre taking monster slots and giant instead of baboons will be much worse. Btw bees also occupy the monster slot

I honestly just play Solo Lethal Company as training myself. I consider it practice to avoid the inevitable wipe, to survive under any circumstance and it is a different feeling.
I'll be playing with a full squad and we'll split up. After I get some good loot I go back to the main entrance, just to see that no one is around. I'll head back to ship and realize that I've been walking around alone for 6 minutes straight, looking for something that can't be found.
The only enemy in the game that can hear you are eyeless dogs, so talk as much as you want.
Solo lethal company is worth it
Not because of some loot or etc
But because yor reward is emotions
You feel yourself like pro when you did something alone and suceeded

Its really good doing solo to try out tools and other strats that can help in multiplayer.
This is true, don't blow the multiplayer runs with a lack of tool knowledge
@@Nikos. Just lack of communication and following it
My very first solo titan run had a turret at main.
I ran into the front hallway to escape it, thinking I was smart, and there was another turret right behind the doorway.
As I got scared and am panicking trying to figure out what the hell to do in those 2 seconds, a bracken instantly broke my neck. This was so early in the day I assume it was the first early spawn and it just happened to be in the front hallway where I ran. Solo titan is an experience indeed.
I bring a shovel to the entrance I’m going into. I drop it there and hop in fearless. If I need it, I grab it and use it, if I don’t, I leave it there
A little correction. Closing the door on a slime/coilhead will not stop them it will only get them stuck for about 20 seconds or so...
Bracken is REALLY fast af so you really need to turn 360 every 3-6 seconds. Also bracken loves to stalk you around corners so before going into door check corners behind it. Like doors that lead to lobby in mansion.

The only enemy in the entire game that can hear you are the eyeless dogs. No other enemy has that feature.
this is probably how i'll be playing the game 80% of the time because my friends have lives and i don't, so, thanks for the tips!
My reason for almost always playing alone is that all of my friends are broke and can’t afford a 10 dollar game. I swear, I have told almost all of them that I will personally give them my own hard earned money just so they can get it! 😅
When I play solo, I just relog when I die
Everlong is a strange but welcomed choice for the Bracken scenes
11:45 i literally rushed in the other day with halo music so nice added thing to the video lol
I downloaded the game a few weeks ago, and since none of my friends play it, i have spend hours scavenging a desolate world.
And let me agree with you: to walk alone in silence where there uses to be laughter, death and chaos in the videos is a feeling of lonliness only minecraft singleplayer can make you feel. And not in a good way.
My solidarity to all the lost souls out there who havent got friends playing it. I stand with you.
I hope you can find a group to play with, very much improves the game, but solo is a whole nother level of challenging and scary
Baboon hawks aren't scared off by sound, you have to beat them in a staring contest.
The company surely is lethal 😢
my stat in random lobbies to run in, no tools, no lights, by myself...so I basically get that solo vibe for a bit minus the insta failure threat if I die
In my opinion, the absolute best moon for solos is obviously March, but a VERY close runner-up is actually Assurance. Assurance is really amazing since it has relatively good loot spawns, good enough loot itself, alongside a small enough map to clear it without extremely poor turret spawns. I was able to get 577 from Assurance once, and that was without a gold bar or cash register.
Ghost girl is actually not too difficult to deal with. As soon as you hear the breathing, as long as you don't look at her, she'll never aggro. And she'll only aggro after 3 glances. After the breathing stops, it's safe. She does however, become a huge problem when mixed with a bracken
Pro tip: if you die you can leave the lobby and keep your past loot
This is true but where’s the fun in that?
Ah save scumming. A useful thing to remember if you're largely playing solo as a means to experiment and improve your fighting skills. Want to learn how to fight nutcrackers but don't want to have to start over from scratch grinding non-paid moons every time you lose a run? Just savescum then get back in there.
Can you imagine what the Company thinks about a lone employee that consistently comes back alone with full quota reached?
Coil heads cannot be blocked by normal doors, only delayed.
my advice: get only one flashlight at all times instead of no loot and DO NOT CONSERVE FLASHLIGHT BATTERY. Play in facility until flashlight runs out and try to leave the second the flashlight runs out. also don't be afraid to leave the flashlight behind to grab something worth 10% or more of the current quota. when you find a "dark maze" explore it sooner rather than later and hug either the left or right wall completing a full circle *around* the dark maze without getting lost or wasting time taking only what is most valuable. Keep with the strat until you need to hit higher level moons. Once you get there I recommend getting a jetpack the quota before to avoid the near omnipresent giants whilst holding the goodies and survive for as long as possible like that.
my first try at solo - I walked in main and a coil head was in my face at 9am.... I somehow managed to get out and go to the fire exit and a bracken immediately snapped my neck.
I don’t do well in the dark so I’ll always had a flashlight on me!
For some reason I decided to try this game solo the very first time I played it. Bad idea.
