Great video of a world class scarab, I once got to ride on a demo ride on a 38 AVS, with legendary offshore power boat racing throttle man Gus Anastasia, truly a memorable fantastic ride, Rest In Peace Gus, I’m forever grateful for that day.
Like that lake used to be a few on there, recall white with an orange lettered one and MV edition was around to. Had a Baja 250 on that lake single 454 .75 mph big boat
I've owned both.....Currently have a mint 38 AVS and its a nice upgraded version of the KV, love the double step hull, its not as classic as my old MV 38KV but a welcome upgrade on style, comfort, and performance.

He said 75, these run just over 77 mph on the gun. Edit which is decent for a boat that weighs 10200lbs with only twin 500hps.
@@RKOAviation the scarab vipers we’re faster. Ours via radar gun was hitting mid 80s mph. I miss those scarabs. Great fun boats
@@MovieMuscle75 on water is fast. Its like doin 130 on land
Slow boat.
Not bad for a 38 that weighs 10200lbs with just twin 500hps. They run just over 77mph of the gun.
Fast for it's day, and will run over 100mph with the right powertrain setup.
