filipino advice on red horse: make sure red horse is cold. when it is not cold it tastes really bad. when it is cold, it is sweet almost like pineapple juice.
he doesnt mean cold Mr. Bulbul, he means near-to-freezing-temperature cold.

I remembered my first experience eating samgyupsal it was with my Korean students because they invited me to drink with them and I enjoyed it so much Ever since. But I still considered eating samgyupsal only for special occasions because it’s quite expensive here in the Philippines.

Mr. BulBul, back in the day, RedHorse wasn't as widely enjoyed as it is today. While in college my friends and I bought it purely because we had a limited budget and it was cheap and got us drunk for less money.
back in the days when they first introduce Redhorse a lot of people scared with this beer and I experience diarrhea with 1 bottle, Now it's totally ok maybe they changed the formulation.
@@johntonelete My main impression of Red Horse at that time was that it was a pang-tambay-sa-kanto type of drink so you might be right saying people were "scared" of it. As for your experiencing diarrhea, I guess my stomach was made of steel back then (and probably still is now).

I don’t normally put raw garlic in ssam, until one restaurant offered I try it. Also snapping green chili in ssam which I usually see in other channels, but I have been trying it in moderation now. The only problem in KBBQ restaurants here is that if you want garlic, you have to request most of the time.
I also had samgyupsal with mul naengmyeon yesterday , they say it was good. I agreed. Not sure if this is common practice. Frying kimchi is good. It tastes smoky compared to raw kimchi. Ever since I'm doing it, checking other people if they do it as well, no one else does it.
I thought he was about to recommend a Korean restaurant in the PH awhile ago.
