100%. That’s what all the naysayers miss. Most have never sat it one, let alone driven one.
The specialist should really have diagnosed where the oil leak is from and propose a fix for it.

I had the same on mine, every now and again white smoke would pour out from under the bonnet, leaving oil on my drive... I thought it was going to be the oil cooler... turned out it was the seal on the oil filter squirting oil into the 'V' of the engine, then every now and again it would pour onto the manifold.

My choices of cars are a little odd.
My dream car was /is Mercedes CLK 320 In Lilac with blue roof and Two tone leather blue grey with walnut Trim Its a 52 plate and I bought it aged 52 I feel I bought it very cheap at just £1200 Its Not my regular car. Sunday driver perhaps Or long journey car.
In the time I've owned it I owned 2 Mondeo's Graphite 1.8 on 03 and Titanium black 2.2 TDCI on 55 plates. (sold these 2) I also had an MGF se and XJ8 3.2 Jaguar both 2000 plate (Both gone)
Then Had an Astra Bertone Convertible 2.2 a 52 plate but has private plate. With the cash left over bought a really cheap Vauxhall Vectra Estate 1.9CDTI on 58 plate.
I started trying to work for myself doing Courier work hence estate and then I decided to buy a Ford Transit high top van 2.2 TDCI LWB 2014 Old shape.
So my collection right now is the CLK and Bertone the van and Last 3 years owned a 2007 Audi 2.7TDI Estate and a 2007 Astra Twin Top 1.9 CDTI. Loving that I own all of them now and considering doing work on these cars, I have done my transit van with a service two front tyres and starter motor which totally transformed the van The last bits to do is get the van fully valeted to showroom condition.
My Private plate Astra Bertone I had wheel bearing done and plugs plus on MOT I felt I got robbed by purchasing a part worn tyre and then allowing the garage to do the strut repair but also put new tyre on to the same wheel that had part worn. £90 (just the tyres) I only gave £350 for this car back in 2016 it came with the plate valued £700 The car looks retro but I am truly in a dilemma weather to buy a nice one owner mint condition Vauxhall Astra 2.2 Bertone I've spotted a few I love a car with leather interior. Car was vandalized by local village kids jumping on bonnets and roofs of the 3 cars parked in village So moved them away until I move somewhere with drive and garage.
It took me 5 years to pay for van and not easy But its a great feeling knowing I own all 5 cars just the repair work to do.

I’m a Land Rover fan, but the Evoque is just a Freelander in a pretty frock.
Whatever you do, don’t buy one with the 2.0 Ingenium engine. They’re absolutely chocolate
@@hughmarcus1 think it’s a bit more g than that sleek very nice interior. Also quite fast. Aw and has a lovely dress on same as transits customs Iv got a MSRT that’s a custom with a dress on lol
Lose joint on crank case breather, pipe work and ducting joined with clamps or jubilee clips usually.
Fumes in the cab can also be a split exhaust manifold or broken bolt on the manifold. I think the PCV valve can be the culprit also as well as an oil leak burning off on hot components.
My Land Rover Freelander 2 has a new manifold due to fumes in the cab and now it is back but I suspect that to be oil related as it has a slight leak on the top ladder frame or sump. Gearbox out job.

I would get rid of it...I know..I know a Range Rover is so classy...but sad they are not built to last. Go buy a Porsche Cayenne!! By the way what accent do you both have? Is it the new Essex X London?

Over rated. Audi's, under rated, Skoda's. I've had both from new. Many parts are shared, but actually, the Skoda was the better car with no faults. The Audi had issues.
