Car Profile FAQ;
- Why Maximum RPM and not Maximum Performance on the Fuel Test? This is because not everyone uses bumper so they can't see the rev range. They can however see the Bar and that's why we use that.
- Why are you using Tyre Wear? This is because the official Balance of Performance is done using Fuel and Tyre wear so will be more accurate.
- Why Optimum over Fastest Laps? Because it's easier to get 10 individual best sectors than to get 10 best laps. You could blitz a sector 3 1 lap and a sector 2 the next lap and combined they create the optimum lap and a better picture.
- Why are you doing 10 laps? This is because after that I feel tyre wear and fuel becomes more impactful.
- Why Racing Medium tyres? I use this tyre as it's the "Middle" tyre in racing compounds. I feel the cars should be MOST balanced on this tyre in my opinion

Pretty much my main car in GT7, since i’m a BMW nut. It handles really well, you just have to manage the oversteer when exiting the corners, and you’re good. I always catch other cars up at the end of long races because of the tyre consumption.
i bought this car to get used to it and complete de nurburgring circuit experience, and i fell in love with it! it's a very fun car to drive

This is the car that pushed me firmly into A level of drivers. It makes sense that it's easy to drive, it is an Endurance model after all. Reminds me of how easy CLK GTR LM is for driving.
Great vid, I'll try this car soon, i've been using the Genesis X Gr3 lately, be nice to compare it against the BMW as they're both similar cars, (long saloon cars) Cheers.
By far the most fun car for me to drive. However even if being good overall its rarely a meta car for any specific track, especially when not on soft tyres

Not the prettiest interior in VR but it looks like its worth overlooking aesthetics over functionality.
Awesome car if you can deal with the power oversteer, and I feel that it’s rarely used in the dailies
I do enjoy this car, exiting low speed hairpins and tight turns its a handful on power. But it seems allow alot of slip angle and with the downforce it really can take alot of speed through high speed corners.

Another great car profile, the M6 is always a car I found sketchy for an FR but I did go through a phase of enjoying on certain tracks so maybe one to consider, I'm assuming because it takes a lot of work to do these that you won't be doing the Sprint version, on paper they look the same, however some say there are some noted in certain combos earlier this year but I'm not sure, it would have to be something significant enough to be worthy of doing because anything minor could be one of many variables.

Found this car not long ago and really liked how well it handles while not compromising too much on straights.
Sadly, now that I'm transitioning to a wheel I can't really keep it straight anymore, had to jump into something more tamed like the McLaren...
Yeah joysticks have very small movement inputs which often makes cars easier to control as opposed to what some people think.
You'll get used to it and you'll be able to use it again. Just keep practicing! Oh and load cell pedals help a bunch to manage the brake and throttle input, my advice would be to make that your first next upgrade!

custom race with highest tyre wear at nurburgring
3 or 4 ai driving around in the car being tested would eliminate the human factor of the test
nurb + highest wear multiplier should be long enough that the tyres expire before ai gets back to pits
and multiple ai lets you take an average tyre life duration in an almost race setting and you can skip through the replay to see when tyres expire
i know the ai is bugged in custom race to not use 100% throttle when they use garage cars for racing, but i guess they would be consistently bugged for each race
For the tyre test, could you try letting the AI drive the car? Perhaps not exactly representative of real player driving, but you could get a consistent comparison around a number of different corner types...
The M6 has very good downforce, but suffers in top speed and low speed handling (it's LONG)

I have put my recommendations in many times to PD. However a penalty system is very difficult to get right without human intervention.
