Hello! sir, i got admitted into University of Luxembourg for Information and computer science and also high-perfomace computing. i have two (2) questions (i) for the purpose of ATS can i pick either of the programme or send both offer letters when posting my documents ? (ii) you made reference to legalization of our documents at the ministry of F.A but on the sch. website after carefully reading all the details sending doc. fot ATS it is not stated for legalazation at ministry of F.A in home country. just need clear view. Congratulations on your admission.
1. You cannot use two admission letters for one ATS; you must tell the university which programmes you want to accept and free the space for others.
2. For ATS, you have to send either original documents or certified true copies; this is clearly stated in this video, and part of the certification of true copies may involve the authentication of the said documents at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and subsequent superlegalisation at the appropriate embassy. For more information, please get in touch with the Immigration Directorate; their email is publicly available.

When you make a photocopy of an original document, then it becomes a copy. You need to make a copy of the entire pages of your passport/traveling documents. Nuel
hello Nuel, please i have a suestion , bank statement and original bank certificate are both required or can I submit only bank certificate?
Dear Nuel, the police criminal report certificate that i obtained is a certicate and its having my passport photograph on it with my Biometrics data being captured at Ikoyi Lagos, is it different from the police extract you are talking about here?.
It should be the same, just a different name for saying it. When you get there, you tell them the purpose of it, and they know what to do. It is standard. Regards Nuel
Hello, thank you for the research and information. I made a similar comment on an old video concerning proof of funds. A question actually. If I'm planning to go for a 2 years program, do I need to have proof of funds for both years or for at least a year?
Proof of fund is calculated yearly; a simple research would have helped you with that. For this year it was 17,317 euro but this might change next year. Kind regards. Nuel

First is concerning the proof of fund,is it showing the inflow and outflow (transactions) of the account for the pàst 6 months or must it be a total sum bulk in the account?
Second question is can a spouse be a sponsor? Even after showing necessary proof of ties?
The statement should be a 6-month statement, and you should have at least 17 317 euros in your statement at the time of printing it.
Again, listen to what I said in the video concerning sponsorship; there is nothing else to add other than the authority stated.

Please is it when i get to Luxembourg that i can pay my first enrollment fee of 200euro if i chose to. Meaning it has no effecton my admission processing.

Hello! I have a question. I just received my bank statement for the past 6 months. it consists of 40 sheets (it contains information about all the transfers and income that I have made over the last 6 months) do I send them all 40 sheets?
Based on my research you need to print 6 months' bank statement and make sure you have the minimum balance that is required. I don't really understand the basic of your question, 6 months statement is 6 months statement, it does not mater if it is 40 pages or 100 pages. All the best.

Do they send back the original documents? If we need to apply for visa after getting the temporary document i guess we'll still need the same documents
I stated clearly in the video that you either send original documents or certified true copies. Any original document you need should be sent as a certified true copy. Regards Nuel

Thanks for this timely video. I watched keenly hoping you will speak more on having a sponsor legally residing in Luxembourg. You made mention that the police cert. should also be authenticated, noted. Do I need to authenticate my passport since I have given power of attorney to my sponsor? My sponsor says this is necessary but I can't seem to confirm it on the website. It seems the requirements are slightly different when applying by proxy. Kindly throw more light on this please. Whatever I said in the video is based on my research, and I like to stick with that. Where there is limited information, I can't help but feel free to email the appropriate authority for more clarification. In the video, I said that you need a copy of your passport in its entirety, and according to the authorities, you don't need to authenticate it. Still, any other documents have to be original or certified copies. I only suggested you authenticate the criminal record certificate based on my experience ONLY. Nuel

I have a third class in a bachelor's degree in sociology and I want to apply for masters in social sciences and educational sociences. Will I be accepted in university of Luxembourg for the summer 2025/2026 session.
I am not in the best position to determine who will be accepted or not; that is the decision of the study department. However, to the best of my knowledge, the minimum requirement for a master's degree application is second-class.

Hello sir, please guide me ...I got an offer letter for MSc Logistics and supply chain management from Luxembourg University..... The fees mention for this course is 24,000 euro and for POF you said 17,317 euro ....So how much amount I should keep for my safe side.. actually looking for Bank Loan ??
I am sorry I cannot give you financial advice. The proof of funds that you should have is not part of your school fees. The proof of funds is for your travel expenses and upkeep for one year in Luxembourg, not including tuition fees. Congratulations on your offer; it is a great course, and though expensive, it is worth it. This is a one-year MIT master's programme that includes an independent studies period for one month at MIT. Students obtain a certificate from MIT and a degree from the University of Luxembourg. So it is massive.

I said clearly in the video that the document enclosed must be original or certified true copies. As far as I know, bank statements are usually original. However, I would suggest you tell your bank to confirm the account and fund are yours via email or some specific letter for the ministry. 2. From the list of supporting documents that I stated in this video and based on my research, I did not see that in the list. I said that your proof of enrolment/admission into a higher institution in Luxembourg should be added. Usually, you focus on what was stated; however, if you have other documents that you feel will be important, you are free to add them, but remember, they have to be original or certified true copies. Hence, you cannot send the original document that you still need. I hope this helps. Nuel

This is not a block account. The proof of funds is meant for you to use for your studies and upkeep while studying and living in Luxembourg, which means you should have access to it. If you need more clarification, please email the Department of Foreigners, Immigration Directorate Luxembourg.

Hey nuel i had a query currently i dont have these much funds with me but my parents will be providing it by may 15. Is it okay if the application is made this late?
As stated in the video and based on my research, parents can also be sponsors if they meet the criteria outlined by the authority. If you have other specific questions, please contact the appropriate authority with the competency to address these matters. I don't know when it will be late. However, the earlier, the better. The ministry usually responds within 60 days. The earlier, the better.

You are not expected to pay a deposit fee before an offer, but the offer will be conditional until we meet the outstanding requirements. If you graduated from an English-taught programme within the last 2 years, you MUST provide IELTS language proficiency. Nuel

Luxembourg does not operate like Germany, so there are no blocked accounts; use your real and normal account with the right amount.

I applied for temporary authorisation to stay in April 4. Now it’s become 61 days . And I couldn’t get the temporary authorization to stay. What should I do ?
