For lunch I decided to have a chicken and salad dish, then went straight to a famous park. And then ended night as I watched the parade for the birthday of the Grand Duke and Celebrations.

You might be intimidated by not having one of the local languages but the locals grow up learning 3 or 4 languages because it is so useful to them as a nation to be this international financial hub. So certainly in the capital, you'll have few problems with just English. Getting out to the countryside is highly recommended as they have loads of interesting walking routes. Great castles too! It usually ranks as the richest country in the world by GDP per capita and you'll start to appreciate it once you are there.

I am from Luxembourg and it's definitely not the most expensive country in the world. It is the richest though. It is not cheap at all, but countries like Switzerland are far more expensive than Luxembourg!

30€ for a Bouchée à la Reine? No wonder the Restaurant was half-empty, most charge half of that (as in 12-20€) for this pretty basic dish.

Most restaurants only open for lunch from 11AM to 14/15AM and then re-open in the evening from 6PM to 11/12PM
