They need us to care & help recover what they've lost in their environment AND their emotional lives. Koala's actually live Solitary lives, they do not prefer to live with other Koala's. They also eat all day long, so he was probably perfectly fine. They are one of the least intelligent animals in the world, so their mannerisms may seem abnormal to us but that Koala was probably fine.

he was not fine as evidence by the multiple dead kaolas witnessed on site they were going thru an extreme drought and heat wave they were overheating and dying of dehydration,while koalas are solitary they're not antisocial when not competing for a tree the family will each have their own tree in the same area and they prefer a certain size of tree(easier to climb and the leaves are more tender on younger trees). the koala is not an idiot anymore than the octopus is an idiot most of the octopus brain isn't even in the head it exists as clusters 60% isn't even in the head
@@Aaron-zu3xn You should probably brush up on your facts. Koala do not drink water. They get their hydration from the leaves they eat. The Octopus also happens to be highly intelligent, far more intelligent than the Koala. These are all facts by the way. Do some research.

Exactly :). They are great people, or rather Great HUMANS. THIS is True Human behaviour i think. The Compassion, the Genuine instinct to help other life to experience life to the greatest extent possible and be happy about it :D. Cheers from Sweden. But i am not religious in that sence, i don't think we are separated from "God", but everything is Holy/Sacred. But even if God does exist and knows i am writing this i really Don't think he will think bad about me or punish me because he KNOWS i am a Genuinely Kind and affectionate human and i never hurt anything on purpose, not even flies,mosquitos, ants and so on. He knows all, and only judge by the kindness of your spirit, and Not by how much you are in church and make others join church to get a feeling that god likes you a bit more and make you "Better off" in some way and save you from "Hell". I seriously can’t believe how nowadays there are still people who insist helping wild animals is “interfering” & wrong. Uhh, no it’s not. We’ve made life harder for wildlife. Not better. It is therefore on us to go beyond what we’ve been brainwashed into believing. Helping with wisdom & good sense is the answer.

Awesome job rescuing this poor koala, only thing I would have done differently is going straight to the wildlife hospital instead of listening to that guy at the campsite who clearly didn't know whet the right thing to do was!

Hey I just seen your comment. I’m going to start to try and regenerate the bush near where I live. I’m researching how I can make a positive impact. I just don’t won’t to sit around and do nothing. Three billion plants fauna and wildlife were lost in the bushfires. With everything else that impacts Mother Nature eg: humans. I’m hoping to help hour plants fauna and wildlife. I’m just an ordinary person I have no money but I have the two hands an the God-given common sense to do something I believe just one person can make a difference. I just hope I can achive everything I hope to do.

Thank you for helping this little guy! He was probably soooo traumatized by what he'd been through!! Really poor advice by the first person saying he was fine. In a situation like that, an animal should always be checked out by a vet. He may need some time at a koala rehab place where he can get back his koala mojo. ❤️ It is just heart-wrenching to think how many animals (of all kinds) died in those terrible fires! 😭
