- Sammi the koala joey has been hand raised from tiny. She has moved into her big enclosure where she will live until her release back into the wild. Here her carer goes about her routine of looking after her.
Stranger: What do you do for a living?
Me: I hug koalas.
Stranger: Does that pay well?
Me; Yes. It pays in koala hugs.
What’s the exchange rate for koala hugs?
It is impossible to not fall in love with this creature.

I am 74 and would love just to cuddle one before I die they are so pretty .
They are very dirty and over 90% have clamidia so they pee non-stop on themselves. The young feed only on their mother's poop, scraping it of their anus. Pretty nasty stuff. They are also the stupidest animal on the planet. If you feed them a leaf they won't eat it because they can't make the connection since it's not on a tree.

Absolutely wonderful and innocent creature. At the end the little joey doesn't want to stay on the tree but wants to hug her and sleep in the woman's lap happily. She is little human girl who is tactile.
God this makes me want to move to Australia and do this. This is a dream life. I love Koalas. Thanks for sharing.

I got the chance to cuddle one of these amazing animals three years ago on vocation. Since then i‘m just in love and i can‘t stop watching these videos! I‘m dreaming of coming back one day, but unfortunatly it‘s a long flight from Germany. So thank u for sharing this video, it‘s like having a piece of this beautiful country here!

It has a trauma in her heart, love is a universal power shared between every creature NOT ONLY A THING WE HUMANS UNDERSTAND. this baby corala should have had a partner in the inclusere and a much more intense body to body contact, than 3 pads on the head healing is more than basic needs. AM a vet and the psychological Care, is a widely over seen subject in vet Care, as many humans still regard animals very littel acknowledgement of there feelings

This is the most wonderful video about Koalas and how they are cared for by the most incredible people. This amazing caregiver of Koalas is a true mom to Sammi and I am certain that she will raise Sammi to be a very confident and successful Koala in the wild. When Sammi held on to her back as she was working and then received a loving cuddle, kiss and pets my heart melted. This is an amazing Hospital for Koalas and the people that care for them are indeed very special people. Thank you for this wonderful video.

Sammi is such an adorable little sweetie. Her carer is giving her milk way to quickly and Sammi always dribbles some of it out of her mouth. I’ve watched other videos of koalas being given milk through a syringe and the milk was always given to each koala joey at a slower rate. I’m glad that baby has such a tight bond with her carer and that her carer is so kind to the adorable little joey.
"One final thing - she likes a snuggle" - That's one of the significant things at the Port Macquarie Koala Hospital - the koalas there are left alone for long periods and are not comforted when they really need it :(

Last month when I seen fire news in Australia and seeing people helping koala , I started watching videos about this cute little bear , I really loved it and really love to see him in real .
