I'm the owner of this G63, and all I can say is thank you! I struggled for two months to get this issue fixed with other garages, but Tasos solved it within hours! Now I have a few things to discuss with the other garage that charged me for the high-pressure fuel pump L & R.
Hi Thasos and thanks for another great video. Can i ask you what model of Autel de you used, and why did you go with this brand? In your opinion is on of the best? Thanks for sharing with us so much knowledge and information.
I presume the high pressure fuel rail was blocked on the input to the secondary HPFP which is only activated under heavy acceleration? I presume you soaked it in car by cleaner and ran it through an ultrasonic cleaner?
No, Tasos was saying that all M157 and M278 engines always have bad check valves. Separate from the fuel issue, which was a clogged fuel rail apparently

So if I understood this correctly, the problem was a clogged bank one fuel rail? It wasn’t clear from the video.

Now that’s how you diagnose fuel starvation!
whats the part number to the check valve?

I have a very noisy high pressure pumps m157 but all pressures are ok
It’s not the pumps, it’s the direct injectors. They are really loud on these engines.
So What was the problem?
Blocked fuel rail I think.
So it turned out to be the check valve? Because I have the same problem…
Nope, check valve can't cause fuel starvation
@@TasosMoschatos okay thanks , was the problem with the high pressure pumps here
Or as it the fuel rail blocked?
@@skeetamacgyver1821 maybe yes
