I know you have probably heard this before but switching or slowly phasing out your lights for better ones is a game changer. Your tank is deep and if you rent out a parameter I would bet almost nothing is getting above 80 par max.
I have sps lps and softies in mixed reef tank for over 5 years doing great but one of the corals I have had trouble with is the so called easy Duncan's. If I could give one bit of advice it would be to stop moving them as this was my biggest beginner mistake must keep hands out of tank love your channel
Thank you! 😊😊 How interesting, wonder if mine will recover. Yes, that’s been the biggest thing I’ve had to learn. Think I’ve learnt my lesson now, and I’m actually glueing corals to the rock so moving isn’t an option haha.
I’m too scared to move it now, I think I’ve been upsetting my corals by moving them too much. So I’m going to leave them all alone for a while and see how they go 😊😊
I'm thinking to change my 6ft fresh water to marine and run 2 canister filters.. and after watch your video canister filters can just do fine for marine
Great vid, your speech is so professional in this vid :) and no more hummm :) makes me want to change to salt water but I have so much money invested on my fresh water fish :(
Thank you! 😊 some of these corals I’ve had for a few months, and some since the first month I had this tank 👌 going to start to do close ups of the tank more often so it’s easier to see their progress 😊
Very nice! I'm sure it's hidden somewhere in you're other uploads, but could you perhaps summarize your kit? I.e, which canister filter(s), lights, wavemakers, etc. do you use? I'll be starting my reef tank in Feb/March (moving house soon) but my budget is tight....so also looking at simpler ways of doing things
Oh awesome, very exciting! If you check out this video I go through the equipment I’m using 😊😊 let me know if you need any further details. 👌👏 czcams.com/video/NxFcu2FWBEY/video.html

A good flow will help your montipora and your leather to shed . You are doing a wonderful job 👌🇬🇧
Thank you so much! Might look into more flow then 😊😊
Looks great, thanks for sharing. You should look at getting a Maxspect Gyre wave maker. Check narketplace or gumtree for a used one.
Thank you 😊😊 oh cool! I’ll look into it 👌
hey, you may want to look into adding another wavemaker. i recommend the Maxspect Jump GF-4k Gyre.

Have you thought about placing the duncan in the sand, well lit andmoderate flow?

@@SimpleAquariumsLauren thanks!
Where did you get 3D background?
It came already on the tank and it’s second hand, so I’m not too sure where it is from sorry!
@@SimpleAquariumsLauren thanks I’ve been looking for one.
They are awesome! Hope you find one 😊🤞
