- Already posted (!) as a "complete" show. Here, I broke down the show into individual song/uploads (with some slight visual changes).
Proshot : Low gen video (thanks Brokedown House Productions).
Show comments : This last show of the 1990 spring/summer tour gets very mixed reviews. Beyond its being Brent's last (RIP), some find the show particularly strong, others poor or simply standard (evoking the end of a grinding tour : 38 shows, March to July with only brief breaks in parts of April & May). Bobby Weir seems, nonetheless, to be in good spirits as well as the two drummers and even Brent (despite the probable despair) seems truly on target. Ok, Jerry and Phil don't have their best "sway" or "smiles" of other shows...
Also, most Heads convene that this venue (World Music Theatre) was less than gracious nor even welcoming (no wonder the band never returned there as The Dead had been banded from their "preferred" Alpine Valley Music Theatre venue) AND that "bad vibes" were immediately felt upon arrival. Was that with hind-sight, with the passing of Brent just two days later ? Or just the end of another Tour ? Others also evoke the arrival of punky "non-Heads" polluting the scene. Well, for YOU to judge.
PS : You'll notice Jerry's using his "Wolf" (guitar)
PS : I used my pictures/images to mask SOME of the original & cheesy computer fillers (start of "Foolish Heart", "Women are Starter", "Terrapin" ...
PS : However, I'm NOT responsible for the other, original, cheesy visuals added here & there and notably during drums & space !
PS : Yes, Brent was probably the most complete pianist for the GD !, musically, vocally and inspirationally.

This is the best Foolish Heart. I have listened to ALL of them
It's a l blessing that so many live videos were recommended
i was there!
My first show. I was 14
"Yes, Brent was probably the most complete pianist for the GD !, musically, vocally and inspirationally." Why do so many not feel this way? Pigpen was the best ever but in this assertion may not count as he only played organ. (And actually, no one shredded a B-3 better than Brent)
I think these were Brent’s last shows. He could play piano soo good too
I was 23 on the 23rd after a long summer tour it was nice to end it at home in Chicago
By the time we got back to NY Brent was dead. I had been souring more and more on the scene. I still loved the band though. But I had had it. My last shows, my last tour. I remember the years I spent as a touring Deadhead very very fondly. Some of the most carefree, genuinely happy times of my life.
When you got a great (double picker) playing lead, your gonna need a great bass player, this group of friends had both and a lot more..
They play the ribbons better than anybody else, thanks dead but thank you very much Jerry....
4:06
Was a child in the crowd. Nothing better
Thank You!
Dang Phil bumping dat bassssse
Phil is the bass master
His bass has the sound of a freight train that is somehow perfectly in tune with the tracks.
alwayes the best!
What happens at 8:19 is why jerry is the greatest
He was the greatest.
that was outta nowhere, but just exactly perfect
really the weird graphics? that ruined it for me, I WANT TO SEE JERRY!!!
@@RommelEGHhe’s in there. Look closely. ✌🏻
Top shelf... JEWELLERY......
Thanks LoLo
Magic Fingers!
I really like Phil's bass at 8:00.
I like to see the boys not the graphics!
Jerry forgets alot of the words here he repeats a few versus but it's ok so do i
Parts of the jam sound just like the end of Phish "Reba" before the whistling starts.
I was at this show. Never liked Foolish Heart as a jam. This set gets hot. BTW, Tinley Park Cops suck ass.
Get these goddamn stupid graphics out of my face!!!!!! Jesus!
