  • Already posted (!) as a "complete" show. Here, I broke down the show into individual song/uploads (with some slight visual changes).
Proshot : Low gen video (thanks Brokedown House Productions).
Show comments : This last show of the 1990 spring/summer tour gets very mixed reviews. Beyond its being Brent's last (RIP), some find the show particularly strong, others poor or simply standard (evoking the end of a grinding tour : 38 shows, March to July with only brief breaks in parts of April & May). Bobby Weir seems, nonetheless, to be in good spirits as well as the two drummers and even Brent (despite the probable despair) seems truly on target. Ok, Jerry and Phil don't have their best "sway" or "smiles" of other shows...
Also, most Heads convene that this venue (World Music Theatre) was less than gracious nor even welcoming (no wonder the band never returned there as The Dead had been banded from their "preferred" Alpine Valley Music Theatre venue) AND that "bad vibes" were immediately felt upon arrival. Was that with hind-sight, with the passing of Brent just two days later ? Or just the end of another Tour ? Others also evoke the arrival of punky "non-Heads" polluting the scene. Well, for YOU to judge.
PS : You'll notice Jerry's using his "Wolf" (guitar)
PS : I used my pictures/images to mask SOME of the original & cheesy computer fillers (start of "Foolish Heart", "Women are Starter", "Terrapin" ...
PS : However, I'm NOT responsible for the other, original, cheesy visuals added here & there and notably during drums & space !
PS : Yes, Brent was probably the most complete pianist for the GD !, musically, vocally and inspirationally.

I named my daughter Cassidy. and all this time has played out just as the song has described. It's the most emotional feelings I could ever have asked for. 16 year old kid on the way to make a difference on the things we haven't been able to change yet

I love this song so much I named my Las dog Cassidy & she used to be one of the BESY dogs I ever met ANYwhere!!! I used to take her to see some shows @ Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View!!! Unfortunately I don't have too many photos of my old dog!!!😭 If I could leave anybody with a good piece of advice, it'd be if in fact you are blessed with a 4 footed friend, take lots of photos with him or her!!! If any old Dead Head out there might have a photo of a big old Pittweiler (old Cass was 1/2 Pitt Bull & 1/2 rottweiler) but she used to be sweet as any thing you'd ever met!!! It's true, what they've been saying this whole time, it's NOT the type of dog, it's all on how you raise the animal!!! Cass was living proof of this fact!!!

I thought I wasn't just sitting here in the passenger seat of a 2005 BMW SUV X-5 that wasn't broken down on the side of the road in downtown L.A. with my buddy whom I had originally bought it for. I got it around 11 months ago in mint condition for $5,000.
Now it's not running. Nah that's too much a bummer to explain the last year.
But when this song started I was beginning to fall asleep/nod out on fentanyl and was starting to dream i was in a hammock at an airport. And this song was blasting in the airport on the P.A.
Bummer. Woke up to me, my buddy and another guy and our absolutely adorable little mini-pinscher puppy Heidi all slumped out in the car homeless, broke, strung out and generally in a bad situation.
But the sun is shining and I'm relatively healthy and in good shape for 56. I have some money coming my way from a bogus arrest by Orange County police at the beginning of the year.
Enough to get on my feet and start my life over and help my two friends here do the same.
So God is good and it's all gonna be alright.
Thx for listening. To GD not me. Lol 😂

Was there reverb added to the audio? Sounds as if there was some post-production effects added... Great version of this song. Sad to think this was Vince's last show and Jerry would follow him home just a few years later. But BOY, what a mark they left on the world. Their spirit and legacy will live on forever.
