  • Which phone is better for you, the OnePlus 10 Pro vs Samsung S22 Ultra? These devices may be similar under the hood, but there are meaningful differences that you need to be aware of before purchasing.
    The OnePlus 10 Pro and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra are great devices that offer some of the best performance of any Android phone at this time, but what is more important to you? Having the best camera system in the S22 Ultra? Having excellent battery life as well as blazingly fast wired and wireless charging speeds in the OnePlus 10 Pro? In this OnePlus 10 Pro vs Samsung S22 Ultra comparison we will look at these critical features and more! I've also included a OnePlus 10 Pro camera test and comparison with the S22 Ultra. And what Samsung S22 Ultra VS OnePlus 10 Pro camera test would be complete without looking at the the 10 Pro 4K 120 fps slow motion video, or the S22 Ultra's best-in-class telephoto shooter?
    It is really interesting to see how these two Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powered devices perform and I include benchmark and throttling data--not that there is a significant difference in daily use, but still interesting. And this Samsung S22 Ultra VS OnePlus 10 Pro comparison will also cover: speakers, gaming, OS and OS updates, comfort in the hand, display quality, and more.
    I hope you enjoyed this Oneplus 10 Pro vs Samsung S22 Ultra comparison! Please let me know what you think of these top-tier phones and which you prefer in the comments below!

    Hello! Congratulations on the video! It is great! I still have a question for you and I would be really happy if you answer to me: I want to buy an android smartphone which have a great camera, battery, performance and screen, but I think this is the definition of iPhone 13 Pro Max, and it is not an android. Can you recommend me an android which have the things mentioned earlier? Or is it much good to wait for the next year for a new „iPhone” of Android? :)

    • @phonecomp
      @phonecomp  Před rokem +1

      Thank you very much Popa! If you're thinking iPhone, I would wait until the 14 series comes out since it's likely only 3 months away (if you don't need a device right now). There aren't really any Android phones that can compare with the latest iPhones for battery and performance--but better camera's and screens can be found in devices like the S22 Ultra, the Vivo X80 series, even the Pixel 6 Pro. I would go iPhone if you really need to go for a long time without charging, need very consistent cameras that are not the best in terms of quality but are possibly the most reliable as in they always get at least a good shot, or you use a lot of Apple ecosystem services and apps like iMessage, FaceTime, Apple pay, etc. For Android, you'll just need to decide what's the most important to you-very good battery life, screen, performance, and cameras--with potentially a shaky software future=OnePlus 10 Pro. Solid software, best telephoto camera ever, ok battery life, excellent screen=S22 Ultra. There's a lot more research you have to do on the android side--I think it's fun and totally worth it so I use Android devices 90% of the year--but iPhones are consistently top tier and often the best for many users. I hope that was helpful Popa, and not just useless rambling!

You also get a few additional battery protection features, DEX, and some other things. If that doesn't matter to you--then there's not much of a difference in OS. Besides length of software support

    One thing every reviewer fails to mention, is connectivity (signal strength). Maybe that is due to most reviewers doing reviews in cities. Anyway, if connectivity is important (for me that is the most important factor), OnePlus wins hands down (at least on T-Mobile) and it is not even close. I live in a rural area and as much as I like the looks of Samsung devices, I can't get a steady signal using their devices at home. Been that way since Note 8. The OnePlus on the other hand, maintains a stable connection for calls and data. Amazingly, the 10 Pro even improves on that, averaging 3 to 4 bars 5g in my home, where the S22 Ultra couldn't even maintain 1 bar.
    I can move my devices to one location in my house to get the best signal, which do for using my device as a hotspot. I was able to get 1 bar on the S22, but it wouldn't remain steady. In the same spot I got nothing less than 3 bars 5g on the 10 Pro. This became a factor watching Hulu TV and ESPN+. I can maintain steady streaming of sports events on Hulu/ESPN+ with the 10 Pro (was having same success with the 6T on 4g), while using the S22 Ultra, my stream kept cutting out and the streams were of the lowest quality (blurry, not really watchable for live sports). As in previous attempt to use Samsung's flagships, the S22 Ultra was a big fail for me and I will be sending the device back. Sucks, as I really like Samsung devices. Not sure what they did, because I used the Note 4 until it died and never had connectivity issues with it. When I replaced it with the Note 8, I never could get it to maintain connection and switched to the OnePlus 6T out of necessity.
    It's great that you brought up Nova Launcher. Nova launcher is the first thing I put on every phone I get, because Nova is simply better.

I currently have a Samsung S10 and S21 and S20+ A pixel, a Google Pixel 4AA Google Pixel 5 I do wanna try and get a pixel 7 but i also want to try and get a 1 + 10 pro. My main thing about it is the battery life. I really want a phone with a good battery life, so I've never gotten any of the ultra phones on the Samsung. So I can't speak from that. But I believe that there's just too big. I don't really like that but I guess that's 20 plus was pretty much the same size as S20 Ultra or very close. I prefer my phone to be around 6.46.1 inches, because well 6.1 for more compact view. 6.4 for larger but still not huge. So with the S20+ I felt it was a little too big but it was very rectangular for the S21+ I had. I felt it was very good but it's still a little too big for me. I usually just use CZcams. I browse a lot on Google Chrome. And I game sometimes i'd use Facebook for my business. So it's not heavy stuff but I do like a good camera. At least if it's as good as the Galaxy S10 or you know, at least a 21. I like that because I take a lot of videos of my clients as well. As I train people. So i'd take videos of them to send them and I want a good battery life. Yeah that's pretty much a anyway let me know you think I greatly appreciate it

Although the S22 is better on paper, the OP is a much better performer in real world use. Lots of reasons the Samsung S22 Ultra is worth the price that you haven't mentioned. 1st off you have Knox security and monthly security updates. Dex mode allows you to connect to a big screen tv and use your smartphone as a desktop pc, that alone justifies the price in my opinion as your now carrying a desktop pc with you in your hand. There is also the ability to use it in conjunction with the newer Samsung tablets as an extension tool. Samsungs photo editing apps and AR and AI is great. Hello Alexander! I've experienced a few hangs with the S22 Ultra camera app as well-nothing terrible and they are very inconsistent (on my device). But you're right--Samsung devices aren't cheap and it's disappointing when they don't perform the way we expect. In general though, One UI has been really solid for me over the last 2 to 3 years. It feels like I'm in a small group of people that like the current version of Oxygen OS from OnePlus, but I know that version is changing soon (hopefully to make it even better). The Pixel 6 is another standout phone to me and I have not had issues with significant software bugginess on any Pixel device I've owned (but I know many others have). I don't care for MIUI on Xiaomi or Poco devices, but it has gotten better in the last year. I haven't tried out Motorola in a while, but I did not care for their OS either. If you're in the states-i'd suggest going Pixel for the most reliable software experience apart from Samsung, but when your contract runs out there might be better options--and you'll probably be able to see how well the new Oxygen OS is functioning. I hope you enjoy the search! And you could sell your S21+ right now if you want-especially since enough time has passed for it to be unlocked from your carrier (if it was locked in the first place).
