Pretty fair comparison. I actually never take selfies and never use a stylus, so those two things were not factors for me, but fair points in the S21's favor. I set up an S21 for a family member and used it for a week and then did the same with the One Plus 9 Pro. I ended up vastly preferring the performance and the feel on the One Plus 9 Pro. The S21 felt off balance to me when I held it in my hand where the One Plus 9 Pro feels more like a perfectly balanced throwing knife. If you ever need to throw your phone at anybody, I think the One Plus wins hands down. Over all the One Plus 9 Pro just felt better and the screen with the high PPI is amazing. The feature sets are so close, I feel they are negligible unless you have a specific need filled by one of the differing features. Also the charging experience on a One Plus 9 Pro just can't be beat. I wanted to add that I disagree about the camera somewhat from most reviewers. The camera on the One Plus 9 Pro just operates much faster than the one on the S21. As a photographer, I use my phone sometimes to setup and test shots and I appreciate the speed of the camera on the One Plus 9 Pro.

S21 doesn't work with custom launchers anymore, OnePlus does.
S21's animations cannot entire be turned off leaving the whole OS/Phone experience feel slow, the OnePlus is significantly fast and smooth.
OnePlus is definitely more comfortable, there's no doubt.
Charging is much faster on the OnePlus
There's more colours than just silver for the OnePlus, if you don't like the shine- buy the matte variant.
The OnePlus carries the same specs worldwide, the Samsung rips off everyone except for Americans who get the 888.
I have both, the OnePlus is easily the superior phone, without a doubt.

Really liked your video on the whole.
You mentioned that OnePlus has a good track record of bringing updates quickly compared to Samsung. This is not true. I have a OnePlus 7 pro and I'm still waiting for Android 11 (samsung s10 already has android 11 I believe). The general feeling with OnePlus users is that the company deprioritises updating the older phones and therefore it's users after a year and you have to wait a lot longer for updates. I moved from Samsung to OnePlus because the reviews said they are quick with updates. I have now just moved back to Samsung (S21 ultra) because of Samsung's commitment to its userbase with 3-4 users of updates.

Brilliant news is that they are also giving the Wireless charger free as a gift which makes it a far better offer. Oddly though, you cannot pay for the phone in one go and Oneplus for what ever reason are asking for a £100 deposit and then you pay the outstanding on Mon 29th March.. I hear that they have already released a firmware update for the phone. Hopefully that may make the camera a tad better with the Shading etc. Thanks as always for an excellant video Saf. Take care.

For me the things that the Galaxy S21 Ultra does better are mostly needless upgrades or things that I don't care about (I didn't even bother watching the camera comparisons, because both have better cameras than I even care to have). I would like the slightly larger battery of the Samsung, but the extreme fast charging of the OnePlus 9 Pro is easily worth the tradeoff. Lastly, I much prefer the simple, fast software that comes with the OnePlus compared to the Galaxy's rather bloated software with features that I don't even want. It's an easy win for the OnePlus 9 Pro in my book.

Thanks for the video, Personality I would have liked to hear a little bit about the feel of the OS'es. The S21 Ultra looks like a solid Flagship compared to the OP9PRO, the only thing that bothers me is the significant amount of pre- installed Apps / Bloatware on Samsung phones. I assume the S21 Ultra is no exception. Unless you are into rooting your phone (with the risk voiding your warranty and tripping Knox which could interfere with basic camera functionality aside for some Samsung apps not working e.g. Passvault, Health.), there is no easy way to remove those apps, but if you don't plan to root your phone, at least be sure to go to the application list and if possible, disable all Apps you don't plan to use. This can significantly improve your experience and battery life in the long run. Just wanted to share this. Anyway thanks for the comparison!

I dont know why , but the cam setup on the op9pro looks very cheap to mee. S21ULTRA looks so damn good 😬

Did you happen to notice if auto rotate had been improved on the 9 Pro? It's very inconsistent in the 7 Pro.

My rotation isn't inconsistent, I use an OnePlus 7t pro. I think it will be fine
