The car came out Awesome great work!!!!!!
Thanks Maurice! I just got my engine back from the machine shop. Stay tuned for more updates.
I definitely will brother!
Dude I didn’t know you had a CZcams! I can’t believe I’ve been missing this all these years!! I want to stop by your shop one day to hang out and talk about 240’s
That would be awesome! Hit me up anytime brother!
Love the car, at first glance on Facebook I thought it was a fellow mint two tone owner then noticed the color was a different. Beautiful work I can't wait to see how she ends up
I tried some painting myself, in the garage with not the worst equipment but you are a real pro
amazing work! very inspiring, I dream of doing this one day.
you should do a full how to paint a drift car video! super talented
Bro this was such an awesome video! Love the color, super inspiring overall man.
Also, would you be able to do a part list of what you used for tools, clear coat, paint? Also, any tips for potentially trying DIY painting such as this video? Thanks in advance! Sub’d you got a supporter in me brotha
@@joevalencia3803 Thanks a lot man. I really appreciate that.
You'll definitely need a DA sander and a decent spray gun. Besides that, it's time, patience and good prep-work. I use mason 2k primer, Omni base coat and Finish one clear coat.
Glass baby 🔥🔥🔥
freaking R32 in the background !!!
That is Badass!
Thanks!
Just caught you on ya bros channel, will check these out later. Thanks again
So good!
great color!
Nice video! nice to see two tone, helpful video for these who gonna use few colors on cars :)
Love the color👌👌
Love the color Adam!
Please upload more of this car :)
More updates are coming soon! I just got my SR20 back from the machine shop.
@@AdamAltogether1 awesome!! Im restoring a 240 coupe in the same color :)
Awesome!!
Looks good, doing the same with my coupe now, from the ground up again.
Respraying it oem eggshell white but with some ❇ sparkle. And either rb24det stroker I have lying around or a new de-t im working on. ✌
Very clean work! Enjoy seeing people putting the time / effort into these chassis!
What’s the paint code of that Toyota colour?
Thanks in advance!
Woah, do you have any updates on this? Looks extremely impressive.
Awesome job. What clear did you use. Looks amazing
Thank you! “Finish 1 Ultimate overall clearcoat”
@@AdamAltogether1 i used that clear long time ago. How dose it hold up over time
I have had excellent luck with it. I painted my friends Cherry Red S13 with it back in 2011 and it still looks brand new. Never even buffed it.
@@AdamAltogether1 on amazon the clear is $90. I live in VT and im rebuilding a s13 and s14
Don’t forget the activator 👌🏾
If you have the spray equipment, why in the world would you rattle can the wheel wells?
Any reason why you went with the Toyota green instead of the original Nissan green?
Oh ya! I thought about this one for a while. I love OEM, but the factory green was too light for me. I sprayed multiple test panels and Nissan's wasn't as minty, it actually looked silver in some light. The Toyota color really pops in the sunlight and has a great color shift too.
@@AdamAltogether1 Good call, I can't say I've ever seen one that looks like the one in the brochure, the Toyota green looks pretty damn close
@@ken_lee_ Thanks! Thats exactly how i felt.
& just when we needed him most he disappears …
I promise, I'm working on it. Stay tuned, updates are coming.
Where did you learn to paint? Really looks mint
I got an internship in High School and then I never stopped. Good pun! 😂 Thanks
@@AdamAltogether1 oh great!! You can really tell that you are experienced!! Really looks consistent from what I can tell. Only thing I did which kinda went that way was painting rc cars. I can appreciate a good paint job when I see one and that one looks absolutely stunning. Would you say it is more difficult spraying on such big surfaces?
@@AdamAltogether1 and thanks!!
@@louis-hhr9479 The #1 thing i'd say is the it's all in the prep work, everything needs to be smooth, clean and sanded properly. Besides, that metallic colors can be a bit tricky, so i change up the spray pattern to avoid stripes.
@@AdamAltogether1 thanks for the intel!! How much time did it take you to prep the s13?
Did this car get finished?
Not yet unfortunately. I've been working on a some other big projects over the past 6 months. There will be some good updates on this one very soon though,
