@Buhzare I'm a fan of both Rob & Russell 2. Although I give Russell credit for making aggressive plays, his success in outing Rob on HV is hollow (to me anyway). If the others had seen Russell's previous gameplay and he pulled that move off, than I would shake his hand. In regards to RI, I find it interesting that Steve is on record as saying that he would have played with Rob (unlike Russell) because he's a team player. I'm not convinced that Rob would not have done well in the other tribe 2.
@chinglis Plus Russell didn't change his game at all because he stubbornly refuses to acccept the flaws in his social game.He bullied people,was lazy around camp, & openly hid secrets from his tribe. Of course he wen't home! Rob on the other hand earned the trust of tribe mates in spite of his reputation and is dominating, so far without any help from an immunity idol...unlike Russell who based his whole game around them.Russell has no one to blame for his poor performance this time but himself
he did try to change his game and tried playing more nice but he got voted out first and no one saw this side of russell that much since we didnt get to see him
@chinglis You just cant accept the fact the Rob beat Russell this season. I'm a fan of Russell's aggressive play, but even I know that if the others had seen his gameplay on HV, Russell would have gone first. Both Rob & Russell had targets on their back from day 1, yet useless Russell gets voted out first, and Rob is just slaying it. Rob may not win, but he beat Russell.
@chinglis On HV Russell had the advantage of the others now knowing his previous game play. Russell was able to gain the trust of Jerri & Coach to swing their votes towards Rob. But on RI, Russell and Rob were going 1 on 1 with NO advantage towards either of them. The game is outwit, outplay, OUTLAST. Rob outlasted Russell. Rob kicked Russell's ass!
I love Russel but I don’t think he can play unless there is some sort of season with experienced players. When you put Russel in a cast of villains he doesn’t seem that bad and can actually succeed because villains in survivor think about how it benefits them. Newer unexperienced players are pissing their pants that Russel will ruin their game so as much as I hate them it made sense to vote Russel.

Redemption Island will be one of very few seasons which I will not recommend watching at all, along with the rest from S21-24, Thailand and Fiji.

@Crisrav1138 Boston Rob's final vote count is 11 out of 16; Russell was actually up for 18 votes, which is still more than any other finalist.
