      @@adedoyinoluwo428 Most of his fans are either the loyal and patriotic British or started watching F1 recently and went for the driver/team who was winning. Neither are bad reasons to go for someone, but you're not really going for them because of their attributes, and it usually means you'll argue their case beyond reason (loyal and patriotic side is obvious, people starting to watch F1 tend to be between 10-14 so they're not mature enough argue with reason or look at personal attribute).
      Nothing wrong with that until you argue a case beyond reason which most LH fans do (and same with Vettel fans for that matter but the young ones are starting to grow up and become more mature). Now, when LH loses fans because of his personality and everyone who isn't a fan of him doesn't like his personality it's a good suggestion that most people don't like his personality. In fact, his reputation is that bad that new fans are no longer going for him because he's winning and are choosing less obvious drivers to go for.

      Ryan Lane and your point is? Besides...stay safe

    • @lachie5687
      @lachie5687 Před 4 lety +12

      @Ryan Lane Umm... most people base who they like over their personality and they present themselves, celebrities are no exception to this so there's a decent reason why you should choose your favourite driver based on personality rather than track performance. Also, why should someone that has a different opinion to you, who I am assuming is either a younger or uneducated person based on the number of fallacies in each of your comments, not be allowed to watch F1? In fact, you could argue someone is better off having a different opinion to you, whether or not it is true. As for everyone's favourite driver being Norris, clearly you're missing something because most people have Norris (and Ricciardo for very similar reasons) as one of their favourite drivers.
      As for Monaco, pretty much everyone who lives there is there for that reason, but at least they actually live there and have no rights to vote and other benefits from the UK, Hamilton took all those benefits without paying tax and avoided it illegally. I don't think moving to Monaco to dodge taxes is morally correct, but I'd consider it the lesser of two evils because at least those people gave something up for those privileges.

      Stratos Kat it's like when anyone foreign says a Scottish or English name, they butcher it so who cares

    • @StratKat1998
      @StratKat1998 Před 7 lety +25

      It is highly unlikely for one to butcher an English language name, because it's the most popular and of course the declared as universal language. So with French and German names, Countries of also well-spread languages around Europe, come on you can't get away with it... I've heard almost each and every English soccer commentator saying "Hénry" instead of "Henrý", while the most important rule of French pronounciation is to stress the last syllable. But it's OK, the characteristics of everyone's language cannot match the Foreign pronounciations. Being used to the everyday tonality leads to mistakes, it is why e.g. a Mediterranean will 95% pronounce English heavily and inelegantly. But the stress of it sounds a more distinguishable error... Anyway of course I didn't mean Britons should change their oral mannerism, it was more of a joky thing.. :P

      I did seem odd. Granted, even english surnames can be challenging ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_names_in_English_with_counterintuitive_pronunciations#Surnames ), but Jeremy must have heard Vettel's name pronounced a million times on the telly and elsewhere and I doubt he ever heard Vettél.
