As someone that also grew up on punk, it was nice to see Chris sidestep the question about why he would play punk rock as a "capable guitarist." He handled himself well and didn't allow anyone to crap on music that was his roots.

Chris Shiflett also hosts a great podcast called "Walking the floor" where he interviews predominantly 'roots / Americana / Country' singer songwriters....check it out where you get your podcasts from - the only down side to this bloke is that he's an Arsenal fan!
These episodes all need to be WAY longer. Chris was doing a great job of talking really fast and giving a lot of information, I wonder if he knew the format is too short? :-) Anyway, I still really enjoyed it, thanks for doing these! Dweezil is fantastic and seems to make everyone feel at ease.

Dweezil is an incredibly accomplished guitar player who asks well thought out and deep questions. Thus making him far worse and less interesting than Matt Sweeney...
